every time I visit Solvang, I usually go to Paula's pancake house, but the wait is too long. Yes, the food is great, but we decided to try out a new spot and came across this hidden gem in the heart of Solvang. we got seated almost immediately. i can't say it's always gonna be like that. the food was absolutely delicious, huge portions shareable if you ask me. i recommend dining outside. people get to see the plates while walking near the restaurant.

We wanted to try a new breakfast place and saw this one. We are impressed with the food. We orders some waffles with sausages and some coffee. I couldn't get enough of how good the waffles were. They were crunchy :) We also got some corned beef hash and they were also great. I just hope there is more corned beef than what they served. The service is also really good. Our server is very attentive and also came back several times to make sure we got everything that we needed (despite how busy the place was at the time).

Friendly service (Deborah was so nice!), delicious food in downtown Solvang. There are many awesome places to eat in this town, but this is one of my favorites. We had the Crepes Benedict and Stars and Stripes Waffle this visit.

I was very happy with my visit during breakfast time. Get there before 9, otherwise there will be a line and a wait time for a table.

I loved absolutely everything about this place, starting with the cute design and good menu. The waiters are very polite and helpful.

I was really impressed with how generous the fruit portions are: I got a cup of fruits as a side and it was filled to the brim, and the crepes that came with fruits were all fresh and delicious.

We were planning to have breakefast in another restaurant same street. Was so crowded. We found the Belgian cafe, has the same menu and prices and outdoor seating. Food, service and place were amazing

Ahh man this cafe was fantastic, we stopped here on our way home from Los Angeles, so worth stopping here and getting the best waffles here, I love it. Super tasty and delicious and freshly made, you can also create your own omelette, Their in-house Danish sausage is amazing, must try .
They also pack it for you in an ice container if you want to buy in bulk . Love that the staff is in costumes 🫶🏼

This is our favorite breakfast/brunch spot every time we visit Solvang. We love the waffles, eggs Benedict and freshly squeezed orange juice. Waiting for a table can sometimes be a few minutes but worth it. Family friendly.

This is one of my favorite restaurants to have breakfast and/or brunch in solvang. I like their Irish eggs benedict, my husband and my oldest like their classic eggs benedict, and my youngest likes their strawberry crepes. The staff is friendly. They offer outside seating with umbrellas, which is nice if you want to sit outside.

The bacon was the best I’ve had in a long time. Cooked to perfection and highly recommended! We also had the freshest orange juice which was a excellent surprise because we were so used to the store bought stuff. I have the eggs Benedict with corned hash and it was delicious!

Excellent waffles. Though the wait time was long but the service thereafter was prompt. The ice cream waffle, Stars and Stripes waffle were so good! A good way to pass time while waiting to be seated is to explore the mission street and souvenir store opposite the cafe. There is limited parking along the street.

You gotta be here to experience the taste.

Belgian Cafe was wonderful! I highly recommend their egg Benedict crepes. Our waitress was attentive and highly knowledgeable about the best menu items. The wait was estimated to be about 15 minutes but we got inside within 5 min. The food was great and atmosphere was cozy. I would also suggest the apple Belgian waffle.

A really cute place out in Slovang, it was super busy which had impact on the service but the food was overall pretty good. It was definitely a bit pricey but it's worth experiencing if you are in the area. We got the Stars and Stripes waffle.

This place was perfect! The eggs Benedict were the best I've had to this day! The orange juice tasted natural, not some watered down sugar drink. The waffles and the crepes were awesome. The syrup is a ten. This place is a must!

Excellent food! The waitress wasn't very friendly but the place is adorable and we enjoyed our meals! My husband ordered regular Belgian waffles with butter and syrup and I ordered eggs and hash browns. I was craving a little something sweet so they were nice enough to give me a little cup of chocolate mousse which was delightful! Highly recommend. Really gives you the Danish vibes.

The friendly team at Belgian Cafe made my quick visit a delight. The staff was really nice and helpful, the food was delicious and the place had a pleasant energy to it. An old school diner vibe intertwined with the culture of Solvang surrounding it, results in a really cool place to grab a bite.

Great little place for breakfast food. The service was great and the food was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for good breakfast food. I look forward to going back here in the future.
