Ordered BBQ catering for a Christmas party. Everything was amazing, on time, great communication and easy. I paid via invoice, and then just showed up to pick up everything. Would order again! Brisket, chicken, and mac and cheese were all delicious.

I recently had the pleasure of trying City Smoke House and let me tell you, it was an absolute treat! The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, packed with a smoky goodness that left me craving for more. The brisket was melt-in-your-mouth perfection, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. And the pulled pork? Oh my, it was a flavor explosion that left me speechless.

The flavor of every dish was exceptional, a mouthwatering blend of spices and love that truly made each bite memorable. And speaking of love, the BBQ sauce was the star of the show – a delightful balance of tangy, sweet, and spicy that complemented the meats flawlessly.

Not only was the food top-notch, but the service was also outstanding. From the moment I placed my order, the team was attentive, friendly, and incredibly accommodating to all my requests.

During the epidemic they're actually making the most amazing have hamburgers to order I mean they are just huge they have this sweet and sweet and sour pickle if they add to it the guy to try it the prices are very reasonable and I'm sure that they'll make you discover anything else if you order ahead of time I know they do ribs and I've heard they do the brisket they do online ordering and I think there's trying to start their catering back so check them out tell him the redhead sent you

Best bbq in the Bay Area. My office and a volunteer group organization love City Smokehouse bbq. Love everything on the menu. Try it for yourself!

They are currently only catering but I and some friends stopped by thinking they were open for walk-ins. The guy apologetically offered us some “BBQ sauce to go” and it was phenomenal. 10/10 would wander in again.

We came here to discover they are only catering currently, but the owners made us a meal for the trouble and it was outstanding! I’ve never experienced more caring and kind service! We eat a lot of bbq from around the country and this was top notch! The brisket is phenomenal. Oooo and the burgers are fantastic, especially with the homemade, fresh buns.. wow! Loooved the Mac as well! Thank you City Smoke House!!

Got some double bacon cheeseburgers with some friends at their old location about a year ago and we've been waiting for them to reopen ever since — probably the best burgers we've had in the city and very reasonably priced. They're currently doing catering out of their new location within the shopping center on Van Ness that holds the CGV cinema upstairs; got to try some brisket and mac-and-cheese which were both top-tier. Super friendly owners as well — really looking forward to their official opening in a couple weeks 👍🏼

City smokehouse has generously donated multiple meals to UCSF nurses. I don’t eat meat so I’m not much of a BBQ person normally but WOW this place is amazing. Their mushroom dishes are incredible - very juicy, savory and satisfying. Also their Mac & cheese might be the best I have ever had. Definitely eat here!

We just had them cater my step dad's 70th birthday celebration this weekend and the food was AMAZING. We had Chicken, Ribs. Mac n Cheese, & Beans and it came with a sauce that was made by the angels. The Ribs & chicken were tender, juicy & full of flavor- very lean no gross hunky fat on the ribs or the chicken. Food was not greasy at all. Beans has a smokey sweet flavor. Yummiest mac & cheese too. Nothing needed to be added to any dish. Everyone loved it and was amazed at how good it was. Oh and the homemade cookies!

I had the pull pork sandwich yesterday that was awesome, then today I had a slab of ribs for lunch which was great. The ribs was cooked to perfection, and that City Smoke House BBQ sauce was amazing. I don't play about my ribs and obviously City Smoke House don't either.

The restaurant catered to the Margot residence at the Panaramic building on Ninth and Mission before Thanksgiving 🦃

Amazing food and service. The serving sizes are generous and the menu was able to accommodate most everyone's diets. Was plowing through during lunch, but being able to take my time with some extras for dinner gave me a chance to enjoy the finer flavors and textures of the meats. Can't go wrong here.

I'm not sure how these California gents figured out Southern cooking so well.
But take one bite of the Brisket Sandwich w/ the Collard Greens and you'll agree.
They got it down!!!

And don't get me yammering about the slow cooked Baked Beans.

We had a luncheon at Laguna Honda Hospital caterered by City Smokehouse, the food was delivered on time with large portions and the food was delicious especially the Macaroni and Cheese and the tender beef brisket. The customer service from placing an order to the delivery person absolutely superb. Caitlin was extremely helpful patient and kind. I recommend City Smokehouse to all.

Went to the brick and mortar not knowing its catering only. Nice guy gave us some bbq sauce for our troubles. Cant wait for it to open

We catered a backyard dinner with City Smoke House and everything was awesome. They delivered on time with food warm and packed nicely and the food was a hit. Would definitely recommend!

AMAZING burgers....mac 'n cheese was just the right kind of gooeyness. Bag & chips came w/ the burger...$12, not bad. Seen this place every day going to work, few people in my bldg have tried them & said they were good...and they WEREN'T exaggerating. 👍
