The Avocado Pit

We ordered: Street Tacos, Pit Tacos, Burrito, Quesadilla, chips and queso, and two Limeades. All were delicious, but the standing ovation goes to the burrito and the Pit tacos with beef. Wow! They were spectacular. I placed the order at the restaurant’s take-out/pickup location (dining area is not quite open), just scanned the QR code and placed the order there. The wait was super fast, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Love having this new spot in Stowe! We’ll be ordering here weekly. Only one complaint: you can’t buy the limeade by the gallon. I finished mine before I even got home with the take out.

I think we died and went to taco heaven. The tacos are delicious, as is the limeade! Affordable, too, which is really important. I'm so excited to see a great mex place in Stowe. It's takeout only right now but as soon as it's dine-in I'll be bringing folks here!! Don't miss this place!!

The Mexican has landed!

Just finished my first meal from the Avocado Pit and couldn't be happier to share that this is some super delicious Mexican food that Stowe has needed forever!

The staff was very welcoming and knowledgable about their menu. They are loving the food they are putting out and that's a great sign!

I got the three taco meal along with a side of queso and chips. The chips were fantastic (details matter) and the queso was great (wishing I'd gotten the full order rather than half -- it was that good). The chicken tacos were just right, ample but balanced and not overloaded. A little Cholula to taste and these tacos would make anyone who's missing a good taco very happy.

Limeade was the perfect pairing! So excited that these good folks have setup shop in the Village. I should also say that the prices are fantastic for the quality of the food. I could easily have shared my three tacos + queso but was very happy I didn't have to!!

I am so excited they are open! The burrito was excellent and so big I had 2 meals! Wonderful service and online ordering made it even better.

Finally a place in Lamoille county with good Mexican food!! Cant wait for the upstairs to be open and be able to eat here take out only but it’s delicious!! So happy they are open will be coming back!!

Great food. Great price. Stowe needed amazing Mexican food. Great way to feed a hungry family healthy food fast.

I stopped by after long day at riding Mt. Mansfield. I ordered the pit bowl and highly recommend.

Everything here is great. The menu is robust, flexible and you get to meet some great, down to earth people. I highly recommend the cilantro lime dressing with whatever you get. Definitely a reliable place in the Waterbury-Stowe area!
