La Mie Elevate

Amazing gem tucked up next to the skywalk on the second floor. Everything here is the highest quality and the staff is wonderful. One of the best eats in Des Moines.

Went to La Mie for breakfast. I got the smoked salmon omelette with a side of fruit and my partner got the turkey club. The smoked salmon omelette was so good and when paired with the toast it was delicious. According to my partner, the turkey club was also great.
It is located on the same level as the skywalk.

Traveling to Des Moines and didn’t expect a lot of vegan options. While I wouldn’t say there’s a lot of options, the green quinoa bowl was delicious! Be aware that there a bit of kick to this so you may want to leave off the hot sauce. Bit so delicious!

It was a bit tough to find, as it’s inside a building on the skywalk. But definitely worth it and I would eat here again.

Great place to pick up something quick and there are healthy options. My favorite dishes are the veggie scramble, Cajun tuna sandwich, salmon Cesar salad and the gyro pizza. I honestly haven't had anything I've disliked. The desserts are divine too - try the macaroons!!!

An amazing place to eat, vegan options and plenty non vegan options also. If you have not been up there, go to the Ruan building and take the elevator to the first floor, you are right in front of the rear entrance.

The staff are very friendly and fast, you never have to wait long. Go support a local business that has made it through covid and help them get back to normal, while eating some amazing food.

A really great place with Greta food their cheesecake on point their french pastries bomb dot com and great sandwiches. My new number 1 for lunch and breakfast

I saw a Smoked Salmon sandwich. I was intrigued. Upon further perusal, it was clear that this was basically the equivalent of a lox bagel, only on bread. I was sold. For just under $7, it was pretty hard to argue with. They often have rows of the sandwiches pre-made, but they were out of the Smoked Salmon, so they had to make me one fresh. No complaints from me on that one.

I appreciate their swift service and quality food. It's great that La Mie Elevate has ready-made options and quick cook pizzas for a brief lunch. Highly recommend!

More seating than the flagship restaurant on 42nd St and the same great food. Healthy meal options abound in this retro chic style restaurant inn the skywalk. Try it, you'll love it.

I tried their pizza for the first time. I enjoyed it very much. The ingredients were high quality. I wish the sauce had a little more pizzazz to it.

Great small food dining in the heart of Des Moines. Hard to find being in the skywalk however, once found the location adds a wonderful pot of gold atmosphere.

Great stop for breakfast. The fruit danishes are delicious. Staff is super friendly. Only open on the weekdays and only seems to get busy on Friday mornings.
