Love this place! I was thinking of buying a new Camera one day and came in to look around...The Owner and his nephew are amazing!! With the right accessories, my current camera, that I thought would be obsolete, is now my forever camera because of their knowledge and expertise. They took the time to show me how to better use my current camera and sold me accessories that I never knew could enhance my experience and most importantly, my pictures. They were right... my quality of pictures was elevated to a better level and my confidence soared!! The next day, I came in to have them show me , once again how to work with my new accessories and they were most patient and kind with us...thank you so much New Age Camera!! We think you are great!!!

I have traveled to CA, Bay Area to visit a customer and I needed to purchase a camera to take digital photos and HD video of our product, I came across New Age Camera of SF , first I was not sure if they can help me, but I found out that the level of their customer service and support was beyond great. They came to my assistance, with a new Nikon full frame digital camera, with the right lenses and accessories. they understood my challenges and assist me with the proper answers and above all, when I checked their prices on my phone with other vendors of same and similar items to my surprise they were very competitive and gave me the best deal I could get. I have returned to them on my second visit to purchase additional Cameras and lenses. I give them 10 out of 10 for customer service, product understanding and price.

Brought relatives on a tour to Chinatown when my cousin said he was thinking of buying a new camera and he knew exactly which camera he wanted, the Canon EOS Rebel SL2. Walked into New Age Camera and they had it in stock. The staff was able to answer all my cousin's questions.
They also have a large selection of Ray Ban sunglasses. I found one I really liked. Purchased both items. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable on the products they sell. Will definitely come back.

Was walking around in downtown and Chinatown taking pictures when my camera batteries died. After looking at a few camera stores, I finally found New Age Camera! The staff were super helpful in figuring out what my camera model was and what battery I needed. They sold me the right model at a reasonable price. Lifesaver!

Every time I purchased electronics or other items from this store, the staff was friendly and helpful. I even bought a winning lottery ticket there.

We did not buy from here as I wanted to research the item. They did have me pull it up on ebay of all places to show me the supposed going price. The sticker said 1699.00 and the quickly dropped it to 1100.00 while showing us a uv filter. Although the uv filter did remove some glare they were asking 300 again from the same company. As we were walking out the two guys dropped the price for the lens to 600 bucks. I said that even if he dropped a couple hundred more I would not purchase it until I reviewed specs and the maker. Very dubious about this store so stay clear. The guys were very polite but a bit pushy. You ever have someone at an authorized canon seller push you to buy something? Huntz Camera? Nope...

Probably the worst expirence I have had on my North American trip. Scammed me into buying these axepro lens filters at an absurd price. Tried to return it and then he gave me a sob story. In the end lost more than 500USD. Go to the camera shop down the street from here or go to best buy. It beats shopping at the place. You seen the reviews on this page already, and it's not an exaggeration. Please avoid this place at all cost.

i was pressured into buying a canon ef 50mm lens for 350$ and thought he was giving me deal for being a student, i later went online and found out it was only 125$ brand new, after selling me the lens he again pressured me to get the uv lens for 120$ but then dropped to 60$ but the same lens can be found online for 25$ DONT FALL FOR THIS SCAM

Basically a scam. The price for basic items (spare batteries, bulb blower) is 4 to 5 times higher than if you get those online (for a similar quality). But the guy is a good seller!

Friendly staff, but prices are often 3-10x what you can find online. Feels almost illegal levels of scamming. For example he tried to sell me a rusty dust-filled Zeiss Ikon for $400! It goes for $30 on eBay.

While in San Fran a few months back, I made the biggest mistake EVER purchasing a 2x convertor, telephoto lens and filters from these Crooks. I didn't have my camera on that trip, and I partly blame my wife for pressuring me to purchase. He showed me 'Image-Stabilization' products on one of 'his' cameras. I probably paid $100 more than I should have. I never looked at the purchase until I get home. Neither were the 'image-stabilization' products I was shown. No box for the Convertor or lens filters - no way to register products. Called them and was told the guy I needed to speak with was out for 2 weeks. Waited and called back - he was in a meeting. Left contact info for a call-back; didn't get that. And must have caller ID because they would never answer again. They are thieves! Credit card company would not help because they are taking their side. ALL SALES ARE FINAL, NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS, NO EXCHANGE ON GOODS AND SERVICES. Wish I knew someone to go by there and settle the score!

I went in the other day, just wanted to check them out and I asked them some basic questions: do you develop film, prices, etc. I understand that they sell brands that’s not their own which is why some products are higher than retail price but most of them are way too much! I asked one guy if they had any camcorders more or less $100 (I wasn’t looking for anything high end, something super basic. Especially since most of their stuff are not in the original packaging) then he told me to leave and not waste his time! Literally the worst service I’ve ever experienced and as a warning to everyone else: if a store is empty, then it’s empty for a reason

Biggest scam ever! Can’t recommend anyone to buy here. Way to expensive and be aware of „no refund and no reclamation“ even if the product is not working as promised! They talked me into buying a camera filter for my Lumix which is not perfectly fitting on wide-angle. After trying to replace with a matching filter on the next day, there was no option for any kind of refund or exchange.

We got so ripped off with this company. They are really good salesmen but they charge about 4 times the price of anywhere else. We had some of the gear stolen a couple of days later and the replacement costs we have received are just a portion of what we paid. DON'T BUY FROM THEM EVER. YOU GUYS OWE US A LARGE REFUND
