I love this store! I always stop here before my trip to home depot and knock some of my list down at a quarter of the cost! Jim is a good man and will know if he has what your looking for as he knows his inventory like the back of his hand. This is one of my favorite little secrets here in Brighton!

There is lots of stuff to browse. Prices are a bit high on some things, but some good deals on older stuff. Kids loved the giant goldfish tank. I returned an item and had no issues. They apologized and promptly refunded me. Lots of ice fishing gear now.

I like this place; I find the owner easy going, professional. Other staff are the same. If you're looking to buy DeWalt at deep discounts, dream on. But if you're looking for something you'd probably not find unless you drove to the UP, this is the place-time and again I've found unusual items that suit my rustic style.

It's more of a thrift shop. Kind of has a second hand goods feel slight forward slash pawnshopish. Very nice lady in there though let me wander around check the place out. I do need a ladder and I have to have one so I'll be back. I hope I didn't offend anyone with my review.

Jim’s place has a variety of items from sporting goods, to tools, sound equipment, hardware, and fishing equipment. If you’re in search for anything for the garage or workshop definitely a place to stop!
