Dogpatch Games

Ever since it opened DPG has been my favorite place in the neighborhood. The staff and community here are incredible, as is the selection of games. I highly recommend checking the website for events (especially Learn to Plays, which are a great way to dip your feet in) and the Discord server to find people to play with. The weekly League is also fantastic as a way to meet people and learn new games, so keep an eye out for when the next season is starting! No matter what games you're interested in or what your experience level is, there's something here for you!

My boyfriend randomly found this place in the morning and brought me back in the afternoon. This place was great!! Everyone was friendly, the game collection was impressive, and it was the perfect cup filling activity for an introvert / extrovert couple. Bonus: outside food and drink is allowed!

The well lighted and ventilated gaming spaces, seamlessly blends innovative indoor and outdoor uses to the max. Taking it up another notch with their setting decor of various gaming ambience, you've got yourself a dragon's hoard of a venue to geek out. Kudos to the owners and their staff. Definitely worth checking out if you find yourself in Dogpatch and do yourself a favor this holiday! Bring a friend or two, your kids, your partner, and even your four legged best friend. A welcome addition to our gaming community after my long overseas hiatus.

Great retail space with knowledgeable staff. The big draw, though, are the gaming rooms. Each have different themes and can host different size gatherings. Also, they have an amazing library of games for use on the premises.

What an awesome space (it's much bigger inside than you think)! The people working here are so warm and friendly, and one of their missions is to build community through gaming experiences. ♥

Board games galore! Their library is extensive with very well-maintained games and the staff is super helpful. Great vibe.

I love this place! First of all, the owner is incredible and I met him right when the place started. The service is great - we were playing Everdell and he literally walked my group of 4 through how to play the entire game and spent so much time with us. The vibes here are great for just hanging out and spending time together with friends - they have literally every game and the prices are so cheap and worth it. In love with this place and will come again!

This is one of the coolest board game stores I've ever been in. Amazing staff, amazing play space, amazing selection, some of the coolest aesthetic choices I've ever seen. Definitely recommend.

Great group of owners who help you learn to play the game and mame sure you have a good time. Outdoor is available and they have a large selection of games for those new to board games or seniors

We had a grand time here. They have so many games to play and to take home at excellent prices. Their DND room is out of this world. It’s a board games paradise in this little nook of the city. The owner and staff are super friendly and it’s such a welcoming atmosphere.

Lots of room to park. The people there knows about a lot of games and can give insightful advice. I usually go with a Meetup, so finding partners is not an issue, I don't know how they match people the rest of the time. It's not the absolute cheapest place: $7 per two-hour chunk of time, but it's very reasonable. There's lots of food nearby that you can eat inside. (But be nice: nothing that's too smelly or that can damage the games.) There's a convenience store round the corner where you can grab a quick drink.

So I have never been here till last Saturday, when I had to run an get on of my players some dice for my first time DMing a D&D game for some friends, the staff was helpful to point me right to what I was after, I wish I could h e stayed longer to check out the shop but it is a very beautiful an wonderful shop an i will definitely be going back if i need anything for my gaming sessions ⚔🗡

Only played one game of DCC there, but had a great time. The room was spacious with a large table to sit around. There were only five of us, but 8 could have sat there comfortably.

Nice shop for game enthusiasts; looking forward to its opening, post COVID-19.

My partner and I had an incredible experience at Dogpatch Games this past Friday. We are from out of town but were in the neighborhood and were excited to discover a board game shop nearby. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the most wonderful and friendliest employee who made us feel right at home. They went above and beyond to not only enthusiastically share a few of their favorite games, but also graciously took the time to explain the different dynamics and flows in detail of the board games, as well as recommending more intricate games to embark on after we got started. We went from being complete game noobs to rushing home excited to play Fluxx (OBSESSED, you were right, it’s a winner and new favorite!) and eager to watch gameplay videos for many more future game purchases! Just wanted to extend our gratitude and thank Gir, they were amazing and their passion was contagious. Hope we can have the pleasure of living in this city one day so we can take part in the awesome events at the shop!

Amazing place! Everyone at Dogpatch Games is super welcoming and always down to help with game setup, walkthrough rules, and suggest new games to play. The entire team creates such a fun atmosphere for gaming, and league nights on Tuesdays and Wednesday are always a great set of events. Super glad this came to the Dogpatch area!
