The Tap Room

Living in Melbourne, I frequently fly out of MLB. And since there is no Delta Sky Club, if I have time, I'll grab a bite and/or a drink in the Tap Room as a I wait for my flight. The food isn't bad. But the portions are a little small. Especially the pork rib tacos. I think the tortilla was about the size of a drink coaster. I never saw such small tacos before. I don't know, maybe they gave me the kids' version. Generally speaking, bars and restaurants in airports are more expensive, and the Tap Room is no exception. However, it seems it's only a "little more" expensive considering it is a joint in the airport.

Really enjoyed our meal here.
Had this before our flight back to Glasgow.
Had chicken wings and the souther fried chicken burger which were both absolutely superb. One of the best meals we had on our trip.
Has a fantastic selection of local beers too.
Our server was fantastic but we had to wait about 15-20 mins to be greeted and our drink order taken but this wasn’t the fault of the server it was because they overfilled the restaurant too quick.

Not gonna lie - this bar might be one of the five nicest rooms in Brevard County. Exceptional selection of beers and liquors, and our appetizers were surprisingly good. It’s not normally very busy, yet, but we heard they do a big happy hour business. We were going to move away from sleepy Brevard, but after seeing the incredible renovation at this airport, reconsidering. Hopefully there will be more local surprises!

This was a lovely surprise, very reasonable prices and great food. Nice selection of beers too, not your typical airport fare but actually interesting beers. Isabella was a great server and took care of us

The service was great! The bartender...kyle was the best. We had several beers and shared the fish and chips. Not alot of fish..but delicious. I would order again. Great place to stop before your flight at the airport.

Ok ….. GREAT to finally have a nice “Pub” in the airport. I don’t know who owns this place but you need to know that your host/greeter, Valarie, is a gem and perfect ambassador for your place, take good care of her $ !!!! Much success to you from The Garland Hotel/ The Front Yard Restaurant…. LA, CA ……

Carl the bartender was and amazing server, very caring and made this experience that was rather scary and sad for me; very enjoyable. 10/10

Arrived around lunchtime for our trip back to the UK went to this restaurant for a meal decided to have kids lunch as generally we only have a small lunch and American servings are usually quite large my wife and myself ordered the chicken Tenders and fries my chicken was OK but the wife Checked hers and found that the inside of her chicken was raw and uneatable she was offered a replacement meal but declined and accepted an offer of some ice cream, it would have been very unfortunate had the meal been given to a child who would have ended up quite ill. Waitress was very apologetic but I still had to pay for my meal and our drinks with only a brief apology from the management

You can mobile order if you are sat in the departure lounge here. Which we decided to do. One of our party has a dairy intolerance. The mobile menu didn't specify ingredients so I went up to the restaurant to ask. The girl at the door laughed at me when I asked if there was anything on the menu which didn't contain dairy and said she didn't know. I asked if they had an allergens book and they didn't (BTW, EVERYWHERE we went for food in Florida instant produced an allergens book for their menu as soon as a dairy intolerance was mentioned). This was the first restaurant that didn't. She told me 'probably just the chicken wings' didn't have dairy. I asked if she could get someone who did know as 'probably' wasn;t good enough. With a TUT, she spun off to get someone else to help.

Over came the manager who was more helpful, but still didn't really know. She told me to try ordering on the mobile app.

SO. onto the mobile app. I ordered all the food. But when I got to the chicken wings, there are ranch sauce, some other sauce and no sauce as the options. If you select no sauce and click ADD it pops up the error 'select sauce'. The only way to add the wings to the basket is to add sauce :/

There are no side options on the mobile app. So Only the 'normal' meals came with fries. The dairy free option of 'no sauce, but needs sauce wings' didn't come with fries, and they are only an option for dine in guests.

There are no drinks available on the mobile menu app either.

Up I toddle again. I stand again first in line. The rude staff member from before, actually shouts around me for someone waiting on a table while totally ignoring me. She does this twice before I insist on help.

After explaining I can't add an item as it needs sauce and the 'no sauce' option isn't actually an option. With a tut and additional of another member of staff I tell them I have the order ready on my phone, if they could just show me how to fix the sauce thing that would be great.
THEY CAN'T AS IT DOESN'T WORK. So I say thats OK, If you could just add a side of fries and 5 diet cokes that would be great. THEY CANT AS IT DOESN't WORK.
She shouts around my head again for the next table and I'm simply told to try ordering at the counter next door as that has a 'proper ordering thingy'.

I go next door and stand in line to find that it is simply an ipad on a pole. I try ordering again, but the same thing happens.

I end up standing in the collections Q and speaking to someone to take a manual order for me. This girl was much more pleasant and actually helped. She struggles to add fries as it's not an option. And I ended up at the shop next door for drinks as it's not an option.

It took me 1hr25min to place the order. It took a further 1hr 15min for the food to arrive.

Food was actually decent. Everything else was a shambles.
