Excellent place for a casual lunch or dinner. A great selection of Italian favorites. Start with the garlic knots! Good pizza and a great selection of pasta. Beer and wine are available also. The staff is friendly and service is quick. Worth a visit!

It’s always great food, but Sams has the best meatball sandwiches in this area in this world. I’m never unhappy. Awesome. Awesome, his meatballs and subs are like my grandma made in New York.:)🍕

Stumbled upon this little place by accident. Happiness ensued! The calzone was seasoned perfectly. The white pizza was beyond good and the garlic knots were fire.

The godfather and grandma pizza are always perfect!! Thick hearty crust and tons of toppings. The mozzarella lunas were also very good

We dined in tonight and were impressed with the food! The gentleman taking our order was able to provide allergen information (dairy) on the pasta and to our delight, the meat sauce was dairy free. He took extra care to ensure no cheese touched the dish.

The NY style pizza exceeded expectations! The sauce was well seasoned with flavorful cheese and good texture. The dough was salted properly while firm and crisp, yet chewy and tasty. We will certainly be back!

Sammy’s is absolutely the best! They did exactly what I requested for my best friends 1 year anniversary with her boyfriend. They made a heart shape pizza which turned out amazing!!!! Make sure you go to Sammy’s for the best pizza around. Authentic Italian pizza that is super delicious ❤🍕

Okay, I have the Big "D". And the Diabetes diagnosis hit me 6 months ago and I'm still getting use to it. It's not just about eliminating sugar, but it's the insulin, the carb check, the inspection of labels and menu to clear a meal. Usually if I didin't cook ahead, I'll pick up a Sammy's Veggie Pizza which keeps my glucose in check. But how many Veggie Pizzas do you order when you want to branch out?

Today, I mentioned my dilemma to a woman working the orders. She understood immediately what I was lamenting and hooked me up with a side order turned into an entree. In keeping with the veggie theme, the staff grilled me red pepper, broccoli, mushrooms, spinach and chicken. It was YUMMY. See, there is Life after Death.

Two hours later, no screams from the Dexcom. I don't know the name of the masked woman who initially pulled this all together, but thanks for a delightful Sunday dinner minus the guilt.

Only place I've found in the Annapolis area that does actual NY style pizza. Gotta have that chewy mozz and thin crust. No cheese falling off when you grab a slice, no flop.

This restaurant very nice if you come with your family or good for family's friends. Delicious food and service.

I have been hesitant of trying pizza since moving to maryland. Good old New York pies were a weekly dinner. I can say this pizza was excellent! Thank you, I will be back for more!

This place is AMAZING! far enough away from the stupidity of the waterfront but close enough where you can park and walk here or just park out front. Yes it smells utterly amazing in here and a decent selection of bottled beer and a nice selection of vino. Oh the pizza? “forget about it” it’s so damn good

Dayum this is good... went in at an empty morning time... pasta al forno took like 5 mins to come out... deceptively filling...worth the $13... i have not tried the pizza, but i have not had a pasta hit my stomach quite like this... I will keep this place in mind for italian food later. Thank you 😋.

I love this restaurant the food is amazing, It has been about 4 months since my last visit as I moved to AZ, I missed the food and the great service, Sam the owner and his wife are very welcoming, I came to day with my best friends and their son, the appetizers were amAzing the fried Calamari with the spicy sauce is amazing, and had to have a piece of their awesome pizza, one of my favorite, and the Mussels were to die for, my friends wife had the Arugula salad, and she loved it.
I had the trio scampi , shrimp, chicken and veal, WOW, I loved it, our Friend has the spaghetti with Meatballs, he said that was the best sauce he ever tasted, I had to agree.
All around another great meal, reasonable price, I can not wait to get back again

Pizza was awesome. Hot and cheesy. Good marinara sauce. I had the godfather pizza that has pepperoni, sausage, onions, red bell peppers and cheesy. It wasn't dry at all. I love the use of olive oil to keep the bread soft. They also had good crust.

We used to live right around the corner from Sammy's and got food all the time. Diablo cheesesteak, Bistro Steak Salad, and Wings. Always super tasty. While we don't live in the Eastport anymore, we still go out of our way to go and grab a bite when we're in the area. Sammy and the staff are awesome.

I ordered some fetuccini bolognese for lunch because I was just having a craving that I could not ignore. I am the type of person who makes "spaghetti dinner" every Sunday. I make my own bolognese and I'm quite proud of it. I've had better, but I'm still learning and tweaking my own recipe. Hands down, Sammy's bolognese sauce was amazing. I don't usually like a very rose/creamy sauce, but they really knocked it out of the park. I ate half of it for lunch, put the rest in the mini fridge at work, and then devoured the rest for breakfast the next day. For $14, it was a steal compared to some other lunch places around here and a real treat. I will def get lunch from here again!
