Very friendly baristas and delicious pastries and coffee! We had the banana bread with blueberries (toasted!) + the orange currant scone and we packed some chocolate cookies for later 😋 on top of that, we were greeted by an outstanding sunrise above the mountains! What a special experience for all the senses! Thank you

Very pleasant experience visiting late morning and getting specialty lattes and a bagel to split. The Bob’s Bagel with salmon cream cheese, capers, and red onion was so freaking delicious! Living in Kitsap County I’m always wishing for an authentic bagel, sadly this is little far away, but this one nailed it. Good coffees too.

Delicious coffee and great pastries on the waterfront. Sit inside or at the bar that can open to the outside on nice days. This coffee shop has a hip, upbeat feel... a great place to stop for a quick breakfast. Don't wait too late though or the best selection may be gone.

As a coffee enthusiast, I appreciate the barista measuring out all shots pulled with a scale and making latte art!

They don't have menus but don't be afraid to ask the baristas!

Excellent coffee with HOMEMADE flavored syrups. The two guys behind the counter were friendly, professional, and gave off a great vibe. Local products and the coffee shop connects to the outdoor store. Exactly the experience you hope to have when you go to a Port Townsend coffee shop.

I’m a cafe snob and this one hit all the spots! Cute wooden interiors, quirky decor, a really good oat cappuccino and AMAZING coffee cake - just the right amount of sweet, and a good cake to crumb topping ratio. Love it!

Good vibes, good coffee (they serve Olympia Coffee which is some of the best in the state). Awesome customer service and plenty of seating outside, less inside, but cool views of the water outdoors.

My iced vanilla latte was amazing every single day we were in PT! You can taste the use of real, fresh ingredients. And I love the use of Olympia Coffee! Their pastries (from Pane D’Amore across town) are also wonderful. You can’t go wrong. And don’t forget about the view!

Love it. Good coffee in a beautiful shop. We drank two different espressos:1) from Colombia Lucas Milo from Olympia Coffee and 2) Burundi Sweetheart also from Olympia. And we did have a pour over Burundi (don't remember) from Olympia. All were super good. Took a bag of Kuma Ethiopia Boloya coffee with us. Recommend it.

Upon entering Velocity, located in the Maritime Center on the water,the yummy aroma of Bobs Bagels, toasted(Everthing bagel w garlic),envelops you.The coffee is top notch,the pastry’s top notch…the tall windows open with the fresh air from the water coming in always.

Holy Mackerel! We happened on this place a year ago, so when we were back in Port Townsend it was a MUST to return. Seriously it is the most delicious coffee (Honest Abe’s in SLC is the only contender) ever! Great art inside too. We love Port Townsend, and this place is part of why we return. Kid loved the hot chocolate and banana/blueberry bread.

I’ve been to a lot of coffee shops and this shop by far has the best coffee and pastries I’ve ever had! Plus, the shop is in such a cute location with a beautiful view of the water! Will be coming here again when in town!

The brown sugar cardamom latte is so good, highly recommend. I also suggest that you get the housemade orange zest whipped cream. Perfect pairing! The view is lovely, you can sit and watch people and boats pass by. Very calming and warm.

Great coffee. True handcrafted coffee and tea. If you are a coffee lover and like specialty coffee and tend to stay away from Starbucks or other chain coffee shops, this is definitely the place for you! You won't get all the options a Starbucks or bigfoot java offer, but you will get a truly delicious cup ov java. And my fiancee has a crush on the girl who works there. So that's a plus too 😂
