Each time I visit, my experience is distinctive. I enjoy sampling the diverse dishes meticulously prepared by Chef Jesse. His innovative talent is truly remarkable. We are witnessing the genesis of his exceptional culinary journey.
The latest creation, "The Switchboard Banana Split," is a delightful and whimsical culinary experience.With the unwavering backing of the proprietor, this establishment is poised to become a pivotal destination in the near future.
I would also like to acknowledge Hailey, the bar manager. She consistently demonstrates her expertise in recommending appropriate beverages while fostering a lively and enjoyable ambiance.

Absolutely amazing experience. The bartender Steven was the best bartender I’ve ever had. He made the best drinks I’ve ever had! I will come back here just for him to make us drinks again!!

Took my girlfriend here for her birthday dinner- she loves loco moco which was on their menu- and they didn't disappoint. Super friendly service, tasty food, reasonable prices. We'll be back

Fun, Hawaiian/Korean fusion restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating and a fantastic drink selection.

We started off with an order of the kalua pork fries, which were fantastic, if a little on the spicy side. The fries were crisp and the pork was moist.

I also enjoyed one of their signature cocktails, the pillbox. This had a dusting of nutmeg that nicely complimented the pineapple flavor of the drink.

My main course was their chicken and waffles. Served with a side of smoky maple syrup, this sweet and savory dish did not disappoint. The chicken was crispy, and I found that the waffle was sweet enough not to need the syrup.

There are outdoor heaters for cold nights, and this restaurant is attached to The Fin hotel.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the Hawaiian/Korean fusion restaurant! The bowls were delicious- I ordered a poke bowl and my husband ordered a Hawaiian meal with fish. The Korean kimchi fried rice was also our favorite dish on the menu. The restaurant had a great selection of drinks, including a delicious Mai tai. We had an amazing experience and would highly recommend this restaurant to others!

I had a great experience dining at The Switchboard. It is about a 5-10min walk from the Oceanside pier. I got the beef bulgogi Hawaiian plate with fried rice, and it was absolutely delicious. My other half got the chicken and waffles.
We both enjoyed the food and service very much. Even the chef was adaptive and offered different options not on the menu to work with my dietary restrictions.

I do wish there were an obvious entrance and also wish the portions were larger.

All said though, I look forward to coming back here!

Absolutely lovely experience here! A girlfriend and I went for Sunday brunch and it was delightful. They've got a really unique menu with Korean/Hawaiian influence and the food is delightful. I had a breakfast bowl with tofu and my friend had a fried rice dish. We both also did drinks, she went for a chai latte and I tried the maple latte and the vanilla lavender. Everything was delicious, the coffees are subtle but not bland or over sweet. Really perfectly made! I would recommend the maple over the lavender vanilla but you can't go wrong. The atmosphere is cozy, the tables are comfortable and it was a great place to catch up and chat. I really look forward to coming back! Service was attentive and professional.

Matt was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. He crafted delicious mocktails for us that were not even on the menu and also customized our breakfast sandwich and breakfast bowel to meet our dietary restrictions.

This place is absolutely excellent. The cocktails were amazing and had real depth to them. The poke bowl was absolutely outstanding, I enjoyed every single bite of it! The burger was also really good. Highly recommend this place to anyone!

This is a must go anytime in Oceanside. Food, drinks and service are amazing! Calm, easy going atmosphere for an intimate meal or time to read a book. Don’t pass up The Switchboard!!!

The owner of this place clearly knows what he’s doing. Amazing 🙌. The food was outstanding and a refreshing new style of food in the area. The environment is great, big comfy chairs, intimate seating. Staff was great, Chaos is an exceptional server and made our experience even better. Must try restaurant for sure.

Hawaiian themed breakfast w/ continental breakfast options available. I enjoyed the Tiki Fried Rice w/ Bacon and my husband ordered the Mainland Breakfast. Both were great options! We also visited for a happy Hour and there were some amazing beer options on tap! We really enjoyed the Booze Brothers 1-800 Tropics IPA. In addition, the staff here was very friendly!

I went back to switchboard now that dining is allowed inside. We sat at the bar and had such a good time! The selection is great, the house cocktails were great! Try the Pillbox when you go, promise you won’t be disappointed! Food was amazing and there’s something about the intimate indoor space that makes me want to go back soon.

Great atmosphere as it blends history and old bones with a new, modern vibe offering Hawaiian/Korean/American fusion. The eats were superb and quite affordable. The service was extremely friendly and relaxed.

If it were possible to give more than 5 stars I would. Our server Chloe was AMAZING! She was friendly, attentive, and accommodating. She made our coffees and cocktails, and both tasted amazing. The banana lumpia and pineapple creme brulée were delicious, and very unique desserts.

The food was great. Overall the restaurant was small but the food was great! I enjoyed the beef gravy. Literally, I will dream about the fried rice toknight. The espresso Martini was so good!

What a great find! Everything was amazing. Small place on coast highway in oceanside. Cool bar and unusual cuisine with a hawiian influence. Gluten free options. Creative menu, executed with perfection. Hostess and wait staff were very attentive and knowledgeable. Decor is attractive and fresh. Definitely a great place for family or a date. Connects to a coffee shop and hotel lobby.

Spectacular decor and great tasting food! It’s attached to a Hilton affiliate hotel lobby, which I wasn’t thrilled about but everything else was perfect!

We ordered the coffee flight which was cool to compare their flavors side by side. The lavender latter was also very good and sweet so make sure you like that stuff.

The loco moco was amazing and the breakfast sandwich looks simple but executed very well and especially like the inside toasted buns! Will come

Excellent service. It’s a small restaurant, so the service is excellent. The food was great as well. The fish and chips were great with the fries being seasoned. The loco moco was a great take on loco moco with it being a bit less greasy. I highly recommend. The portions were nice as well.

I’m beyond impressed with the food and drinks here. The ambiance is cozy and unique and the food and drinks were absolutely delicious. We got the Brussel sprout appetizer which were some of the best Brussels I’ve had. We also got the fish and chips and the Hawaiian plate with chicken and rice. Every flavor hit the spot. I can’t recommend this place enough.
