Best meal I've had on Galveston Island. Jeffs special with baked bacon and homemade tortillas. Fresh fluffy buttermilk pancakes. Nicely priced.

I've been coming here since I was a child. Everything is always freshly homemade & cooked just for you. Burrito with beef bean potato & cheese is my #1 favorite. It's so good I've been known to drive from Houston just to come pick up a box full of their burritos.

We needed a place to eat after we returned from our Carnival Cruise. We found El Jardin Mexican Restaurant and gave them a try and now we are telling everyone about our hidden treasure in Galveston. Came across this place this morning for breadfast. Hole on the wall. Clean. Service was good. Food came fast. Food was good. Tasty, remanded me of grandma’s cooking.

Long time family owned. Patricia is always so sweet and friendly. Food is always spot. Prices have gone up yet still reasonable

I have been a patron of El Jardine for more than 30 years. As a first responder, I have had many meals here, starting with breakfasts. This family owned and operated restaurant is a jewel catering to locals and tourists as well. I've always been greeted with a smile and ki d thoughtful service. It's a great place for a good Mexican breakfast or lunch.

Simple but excellent.
Nothing fancy here. They open early and everything has perfect flavor.

Must be popular with locals as they seemed to know everyone by name.

Maybe not as fast to get in and out as some other places but the quality of food makes up for that.

Very good food and great service! We requested curbside and they brought it out to us with a smile. Food was hot and fresh. They wore masks and made sure food was secured by placing it in back seat floor. Next time we're in town, we'll be back!

Great breakfast. This traditional Mexican cantina has been a landmark in Galviston for years. The food is top notch and the wonderful people are too. Servace is frendly and fast. When you visit notice how this wonderful establishment servived hurricane ike and its floods.

I’ve been coming here for almost a decade and there are no words to describe how great the food is. This a is a small family owned restaurant with an amazing staff. The owner greets her customers with a smile. Just be patient with them. It’s all owned and operated by family members and when they are busy it’s a by slow but it’s definitely worth the wait. Stop in early before the rush and they’ll take great care of you. I recommend the surprise burrito. They have an off the menu pork chop plate and I’m in there so often that they bring me my drink without having to order and they place my favorite which is the pork chop plate. When I bring guests with me they get a bit surprised that the family there knows my favorite dish. I love this place and please stop by and say hi to Trish and her mom. Trish’s daughter will also take great care of you. I would rate this place 100 stars if it was offered.

We stopped in before boarding our cruise ship. Omg!! The chorizo and bacon special burrito was amazing! Staff was so nice as well.

On the island for a quick vacation weekend and woke up at 5am too excited to sleep. Came to Jardins they were open and let me tell you, the best breakfast to start the day anyone could ever need. 😋 DEFINITELY go to Jardins for a super quick, super tasty, super filling breakfast. Pancakes are for sure amazing.
