This is MY Walgreens, so yeah, it's awesome! Blow up the spot and keep it open, please. I know everyone who works there pretty much. From the back at the Pharmacy all the way to the gals and guys up front and everyone in between, that's my crew. I even know the loaders who come earlier than everyone else.

Please, stop stealing, though. We don't want to lose yet ANOTHER necessary pharmacy because you don't want to apply for services or enjoy the thrill #klepto. Takes one to know one... No one starves in San Francisco, ok? Quit lying 🤥😒🙄😑.

Don't encourage the panhandlers out front or around there either. They're running game. Tried many times to do outreach with them because I volunteer, A LOT. Each time they refused. #HotTeam is now reduced to a voluntary hotline no one knows abour because no one has done REAL outreach since before the Pandemic.

Quit gettin played. I will feed a body, but at a certain point you just stop because you always see the same guys. They ACT like they never saw you before and then ask you if you wanna buy Fentanyl in front of your own building like wait, what? #SusSon So I stopped having empathy because he knows where he can go for that and there're plenty of rehabilitation facilities if he really wanted help. I don't acknowledge or offer to feed any of them anymore bc they need REAL help and don't want it.

Now that I know full well what the face of addiction looks like after dating how many alkies, I went to rehab. I wanted to prove that I was or wasn't just crazy and self-medicating. I knew I wasn't an addict at all. They tried to convince me that I was though. I wasn't going down like that after I figured out my DSM.

I told them flat out this what I am obviously. You ALL concur, so give me the meds I need, so I can wk and function for 20 more years without you and call it a DAY. Finally, I can be rid of this codependent rotating door system of inexperienced lifetime student types who get their credits and move on EVERY year.

I am fully capable of working abd have for 35 years before you all came into my life, THANKS. BYE BYE! You can all get out my face, stay out of my business but to no avail bc private insurance is STILL better than public free medical. You tell them what you need and they just give it to you. When you're poor you HAVE TO PROVE EVERYTHING in order to EARN THE RIGHT to have free benefits (like I never paid taxes my whole life until this point in my life). Trust me. This is all their freedom of choice to remain filthy, unhoused, hungry, and addicted.

I would like to take a moment and give a huge shout out to Manuel at Walgreen's Pharmacy (Walgreen's # 00887) at 1524 Polk Street, in San Francisco

I was stressed out about running out of medication and had issues with my insurance.

Manuel took time to learn about my problem, suggested a solution, and he was able to lift enormous stress off my shoulders.

Thanks Manuel and his team member who were able to help me. Really appreciate it, guys, thanks a lot!

Good place to get basic groceries, this place is tourists friendly, good price and wide rang of products, just sign up into their program to get best prices, and discount.

i love this walgreens. been coming here since i was 18 and sylvia was my favorite. we would chat all the time. i also like squishing the marshmallows. everyone is so nice including jenny. she is also hilarious. i feel at home in this walgreens

Had what I needed, found quickly, helped quickly. Saw a nice show of a thief. Some woman trying to get her hands on things that don’t belong to her. They told her they saw and didn’t appreciate her trying to steal, got back what she was taking and let her go. Very professional people and nice. They didn’t even report it. #Handling it in-house 👍

This has been my "go-to" store for years. It's not the largest Walgreens in the city (consider the location), but it has all the basics one would expect. The staff are friendly and helpful. I'm there probably two or three times a week to pick up "odds and ends." Great place!
