A&P Nails Art

When I moved here, I was worried about finding a good nail salon that could do dip nails. After trying a few different places, I am SO thankful I found A&P!! I have never really gotten a design with my nails because in the past, the techs were never comfortable doing it or it just never would turn out the way I wanted. Alex not only does designs, but he goes above and beyond to make sure it is what you want and perfects it, even if that means he wants restart the design to make it “better.” I love the environment in this shop, it’s a small studio so it’s more private and cozy. Absolutely love coming here! I will gladly pay a little more for my designs because they go above and beyond. I always get so many compliments from people asking if they are stick on nails, I love telling them they are free-handed by Alex! So impressive. If you’re deciding between here and another place, book here, you won’t regret it!!

Alex and Phoenix always do an amazing job! And have been able to recreate any design I have ever asked for! Such a friendly environment! I definitely recommend them to anyone wanting cute nails.

I had the best experience here. Husband and wife team who do an excellent job. I got both a manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was to die for. So relaxing. Lots of leg massaging. Tons of colors. I got dip with a tip. What is a nice bonus is next to the dip they have matching polish for the toes right next to it so you can be sure your hands and feet will match perfectly. Highly recommend and I will be back again.

My new absolute favorite place in the Iowa City/Coralville area! Alex makes sure my nails are exactly what I wanted, and the process is both careful and efficient. He’s a great conversationalist and me and my friend feel right at home. Just got some solid Christmas nails done and I’m loving them!

This place goes above and beyond. I would highly recommend you go here. Not only is the work done amazing and skilled, but it is also done with kindness and patience. Phoenix is THE BEST. She is the only person I like to see. Her and Alex are both very good at what they do and take their time with each service. They’re very detailed and take their time. Both are very good at communicating with you to make sure you’re happy with their work before you leave. You can tell they really care which is really nice. It’s a very comfortable/welcoming environment, they make their clients laugh with their fun personalities. I have such a good time every appointment, I never want to leave! Love Phoenix so much! I would refer her and Alex both to absolutely everyone!

Alex is my angel from god himself. He came into my job one day, saw nails I had on and said “Id like to do more styles like these” so I said bet! He is so sweet as well as so calculated with every part of my nails.🤩Bless him for being as invested in my nails as I am. Since I’m pretty picky it’s nice to finally have someone who cares and wants me happy by the time I leave😊

This is the best nail salon I have ever been to!!! They really know what they are doing and are so so so nice. I’ve never had a better nail salon experience than I have at A&P! Plus it’s affordable AND great quality. I recommend this place 100%! <3

Alex is seriously my favorite. He has done my nails for years! I moved and never found someone I really liked and then I found out he was in coralville! So happy I get my favorite nail guy back!

They are very welcoming, very nice, and make you feel as comfortable as possible! I will never change where I go for nails as I have struggled with very short nails and they do anything to make them look amazing! I highly recommend!!

Alex was amazing! He made sure to make me feel really comfy and offered a huge selection of soda and water for my appointment. He made sure to take his time and make sure that all of my nails were the same. He also wanted to make sure that I was happy with each step of the process before continuing. Out of every nail salon I’ve been to, A&P Nails does the best nails in Iowa City and Coralville! Alex can do so many different nail designs and is very personable. This will definitely be my new regular spot.

I came to Alex with a vision & not only did he make it come alive- my nails were better than I expected! I cannot recall a single place where I got better service. The owners are here to ensure you are happy with everything- color, design, and everything else you could think of.
