Hobnob Coffee and Wine Bar

One of the best lattes in the metro. The homemade syrups- Amazing. The aesthetic is so calming & beautiful. I’ve had the avocado toast & the western omelette. Both were delectable.

This is THE place. Don't go to any other coffee shop in Des Moines. Great coffee, fast service, fantastic vibe. If you're into coffee, this place should be a destination. The espresso machines (below counter) are phenomenally advanced. All you see is the spout, the magic is below the counter. The Americanos are great. Very hot, makes for the perfect morning Des Moines coffee. No other coffee shop compares.

This is my favorite late night go to when I want a good cup of coffee or espresso. Very high quality beans.

We enjoyed coffee, breakfast and a delightfully slow morning today at Hobnob. The omelet was very good, as was the brioche French toast. Enjoyed the coffee and a honey lavender latte as well, made with their homemade syrup. Tisha was an A+ server. Very pleasant, attentive & professional. She excels in hospitality.

Everyone is accommodating and friendly. Menu isn't huge but everything they serve is delicious. I usually get the oatmeal, I very much enjoy the atmosphere- feels like a cafe in Italy or France.

Maybe it was the beautiful romance all over my living room and bathroom that happened prior to arriving at Hobnob, but this place blew me away with its amazing atmosphere, kind servers, and amazing omelet. Omg nothing beats a good steak, onion, pepper, and mushroom omelet after blowing your girl’s back out. Will def be back after a more lonesome morning to see if I feel the same, but I doubt it’ll change my opinion.

What a pleasant little place to find below a hotel! This will remain one of the stops whenever we are downtown. Can't say anything about the food (but I figured based on what we saw that it will likely be good as well) - as we only had beer and wine at night and coffee in the morning.

YUM. Absolutely beautiful and charming spot, busy but still could get a seat on a Sunday morning. Limited menu which is usually a sign that the food is good (IMO). Yogurt, oats, salmon avocado toast, french toast, etc. Something for everyone. Delicious coffee to top it off!

this place is literally so good. the atmosphere was perfect and the waitress, tisha was so sweet. this is such a hidden gem❤

Quiet friendly little place.

Completely unexpected find! Went downstairs from our hotel room for a quick bite to eat and had the best Avocado toast ever! Such a pleasant surprise!

Gorgeous location. Great coffee.

Really good! It was packed and understaffed, but they still provided good service, and my food was hot, freshly made and delicious. I especially liked the thick cut bacon and truly fresh squeezed OJ. It’s in a hotel so the prices are a bit high, but it is what it is.

Nice spot. Clean and well decorated. Could be one of my new favorites. Service was great, the woman who served me took time and care to make my coffee correctly. Hopefully they get more flavors soon, but was happy they had oat milk!

I wish I had taken a picture (or 14) of the interior. This is the most aesthetically pleasing coffee shop in Des Moines, hands down. I quite literally tripped walking in because I was so taken away. All details (floor to ceiling) were well thought out to create a cozy, romantic atmosphere.
And the coffee, delicious. I ordered a vanilla latte. They serve homemade syrup flavors in their coffee. I will be back to try out more, along with the wine. And to take some pictures this time 🤩

Very first visit. What a nice upscale place to have breakfast. The service was great, the food amazing.

Well I tried The Americana breakfast, it's a little pricey but the portion and food was delicious my hats off to the cooks so in the end $ worth the buck for location and great tasting food.The Bacon was excellent only wish it was more accommodating for power wheel chair access by the seating

Beautiful space, a great chill space for the morning. Excellent coffee, food and pastries, very reasonable prices as well.
