These guys! As a mom of a teen that is special needs, I am happy to say this experience was awesome. David took the time to talk and show my son the basics. Patience on point! Everyone was kind and amazing. Thank you for your help. We are enjoying our trip more because of your kindness. Prices are fair and they have online ordering. I had near no experience fishing, let alone purchasing gear. The staff was endearing, and David was especially helpful, caring salesmen. He made us feel at home in this new world, and I'll forever be grateful for people like him. I hadn't planned to spend much time fishing on our mini trip to SD, but the happiness it brought my son is a Godsend. See you on our next trip, David!

Great atmosphere,lunch sandwich great, if you want a surfers hang out atmosphere, this is the place. Bathroom, wheelchair accessible, limited parking.

I was very impress with Angler's Choice they have every possible product there,being from San Antonio Texas n near the texas coast this store is one of the best I've been too hands down. Staff is friendly n very attentive as soon as you walk in.

Dude this place is cramed full of tackle and lures. Candy store for Fisherman knowledgeable staff.

Awesome experience here today, my first fish shop in San Diego. Luc gave me dedicated time and answered my stupid questions with a smile. There were a ton of other people in the shop but the clientele were all respectful and courteous to each other and the staff gave us each great service. Everyone seemed happy and they recommended a couple of less expensive options when I ignorantly wanted something overkill/unneeded. It was nuts how everyone was buying gear for fishing different species/waters and the staff was bouncing all over the place.

It’s bigger on the inside. Actually it is a little cramped because they have everything you can think of (fishing tackle) in this little shop. Had exactly what I needed to rig my poles for pier fishing and gave some good advice too.

Very Good work, I had several reels Lined , at Two different shops.
the reels done at a competitors, the knots from Braid to Mono Gave out,
costing me large Tuna.

Love this place, they have everything you need. Anglers choice probably has the best inventory of any place in SD. Everyone is so helpful as well. Thanks for the New set up! Talica 25II!!

This place it is like a little peace of heaven for fishers, it doesn’t matter if you are new in this sport/hobbie or you are an experienced man/woman in the fishing world, this place its very well stocked and you can find everything that you may need for a enjoyable fishing experience.

I think what makes this place a MUST visit store, are they Human Resources, Javi and David are very friendly and very well experienced in their field, they are always available to help with a recommendation for your gear or a high valuable opinion for your next fishing trip.

Also, they (store management), stand behind the products that they offer, I buyed a nice fishing reel that unfortunately was a defective unit, only used a couple of times I get back for help or an advice with my issue, after an inspection of the reel, they determinate that there was something very rare and wrong with the reel, and was needed to send it back to the factory, how ever, the manager took the decision to do a full replacement of my reel, even when they warranty policy stands that the warranty its directly with the manufacturer.

All of this things, Friendly and experienced folks, well stocked store, plus a customer satisfaction oriented business, makes me to give a 5 star to this local business.

I was down at the shop today to get some reels re-spooled and I have to say the crew was in high gear. It’s fishing season and the team at Anglers Choice is ready to help. You can count on them for excellent service and they have more inventory in that store than than is allowed by the laws of physics. They get my five star rating.

David was great took very good care of me if your headed down to San Diego for a blue fin trip definitely check them out

I think they have just about everything you ever need for saltwater fishing. People that work there are very knowledgeable and helpful. Parking isn't great, but still worth going there :-)

Javier and Luke are solid and knowledgeable across the board. Great place to grab all your gear before heading out to sea!

This is a fishing shop with a wide range of offerings, reel repair, rod repair, tackle, bait, and advice. They are some of the best at rigging, spooling, splicing and serving (putting the right line on your reel, the right way). They offer a loyalty program for return customer with some great deals.

On my last purchase I received a 10% discount. It was not because I know Luke, it was because I signed up to the free loyalty program. They tracked my points and those points add up to discounts. That simple!

I have been going to Angler’s Choice for a long time and will continue.
