Good thing that I didn’t have time to browse through the shop, otherwise I would very likely buy many things here.

We browsed the items and they are really pricey. My sister bought one item, the least expensive 😉

Nice museum store with two floors and a large selection of items. On this visit they also had a special store open at the exit of the Ansel Adams display.

surprisingly good value for a museum store - it might be worth joining just for the member discount and the occasional extra deals. check out the unique to america line of watches for women. if you want a little gift for under 100 you will find things that look like they should be much more expensive.

Excellent store within the museum. Love their books which coincide with the rotating general exhibitions. They also have great cards and calendars. Staff working at the store are always kind and helpful.

Lucky San Francisco has on loan an exhibt on loan from Paris France, "the expressionists." Go see it now 01/15/2011 it will return to Paris, never will be in U.S.A. again. A flight to Paris and tickets will be needed. The best of S.F.

The de Young is a fantastic museum. Membership is well worth it if you live in SF

i came here with a group of kids. they people were friendly and understanding. they were very patient with the kids.

Amazing exhibits in a beautiful building (plus it is right in the middle of Golden Gate Park).
