The best thing about this location is the large parking area on the roof!

Take the elevator down to the store level, and you are immediately inside the store.

It is super easy and convenient to take your cart back to your vehicle. The oversized elevator is perfect for multiple full-size carts, with enough space to turn around.

Pretty complete line of everything you would need from a supermarket. Great morning doughnuts 🍩.

Best Safeway out of all the Richmond and Sunset district Safeways. It's huge, always stocked , tons of parking and ALWAYS enough check out stands open!!!!!!! I live half a block from that poor excuse of a Safeway on Noriega street , I drive the extra 1.5 mi.es to this Safeway because it's worth it to be able to pull right up to a parking spot run and get what you need because they keep their shelves stocked andc not stand in a huge line to get out.

It's a smaller location, but has what you need. Wish the bakery had a bit more. Still clean has parking on top of the location and metered street parking in front as well.

This is a commendation for Justin, a cashier at Taraval Street Safeway in San Francisco. This afternoon he went out of his way to make sure we got a discounted item, that we couldn't get during 2 prior shopping trips. Justin take initiative, while being professional and patient.

Clean, friendly staff and variety. The store is kinda small but efficient.

This Safeway is conveniently close, clean, well-stocked and organized. They, along with other grocers, deserve our praise and thanks for being there for us during all the panic buying during the pandemic to ensure we got our provisions. They are part of the heroic fabric of our society.

I took the bus there at night and its very safe area but I think the tenderloin area is also very safe. Is maybe only cause I live there. Anywho is a clean neighborhood also. I mean where Safeway is located I like it. In and out fast.

The store is stocked and clean for the most part and you are able to get through the line in decent time. I really enjoy the customer service at this Safeway, because they are always helpful.

I really like the self- check out registers, they are time savers.
But you can't use them to purchase alcohol.

one of the somewhat untainted quieter less crackheaded locations being so far from downtown, the bathroom does have graffiti urine puddles and suspicious smudges possibly from Lincoln Highschoolers nearby, but not dilapidated like the downtown ones.

this is my favorite safeway. we got a rubix cube out of the gumball machine in the 1980s. there was even a hick country person here in the 1990s and expressed p o'd feelings toward me and my mom and i said something somewhat stupid. but then he didn't get mad after that maybe surprised that i could talk. the food isn't that good at safeway in general. i like the toll house brand of sugar and i like the lucerne brand in the 1980s. i don't like their in house organic brand that much. i am trying to get a vegetarian food product onto the shelves and give it away for free

Excellent one stop shop of groceries and home needs for the neighourhood.

Excellent I always go to Safeway because they have a lunch special you get a sandwich at drink and packed a chips for $6 maybe I shouldn't say anything keep it to myself thanks Safeway

Isles well stocked , nice deli and bakery .
Just a nice grocery store.

Not as big as other Safeway stores in San Francisco. But plenty of parking on the deck.
