Hub Market Deli and Liquor

Really good! They have cold and hot sandwiches and I got the Spicy Ranchero with extra bacon and a fried egg and Let me tell you this! The portion was HUGE! Definitely big enough for 2 servings or if you wanna share but good luck with that! The Egg was seasoned and the Ingredients were fresh. I will definitely be back to try more items from the menu!

Jovanni is the MAN! We came to grab some beers and the deli was closed, but he so kindly (didn’t have to) make us a custom sandwich. My partner and I like different spread and he even made each half sandwich different. I won’t be expecting this special treatment in the future, but appreciative and recognize the extra mile he went.

We will always come back here when downtown to support and the sandwich was delicious! Craft beers were reasonably priced too!

I wish we found this place at the beginning of our trip! We went here twice, once for a sandwich and the second time for their breakfast burritos. This place had everything you really need and their deli isn't anything to sleep on.
We had gotten their Aztec sandwich with bacon and it was really good, I was pretty excited to try this sandwich that I had forgotten to take a photo. The next morning, before we left, we stopped by for a Bacon egg cheese burrito with hashbrown - $7.99, and then a sausage egg cheese burrito - $6.99, those were quite delicious as well and we wished it was bigger! definitely hit this place up if you want something quick and reasonably price for the area.
The people that work & own the place were very welcoming!

DELICIOUS subs!! We had the Gio Supreme and West Philly cheesesteak. Highly recommend! Cherry on top….the owners are amazing too :)

Wow - what a wonderful little tucked away gem! I hosted a small get together in a park near the convention center during twitch con and ordered 20 sandwiches. Four of each kind:

Hub Club
California Veggie Wrap (No cheese to make it vegan)
Gas Lamp (award winning)
Spicy Ranchero
Spicy Buffalo

Everyone loved the sandwiches/wraps and we ordered some chips too. The staff were super helpful and kind! I ordered the morning before pick up and they had them ready on time and even helped me loaded them into my car!

I highly recommend for a meal for yourself or for a larger group!

This place was sooo good! I went on my lunch break and I LOVED IT ! the young dude behind the sandwich counter made me a quick and good sandwich! I’ll definitely be back!

Amazing sandwiches at a true family business! We stopped in to get sandwiches to-go before heading to Torrey Pines. Marcell, the son, made the entire menu and was the one who made our sandwiches. The father, Nick, was at the front. Both super friendly people and the food was TDF (to die for). If we lived here, we would be regulars!

As a tourist from the UK it felt a bit strange to expect a place that sells groceries would also be the place to go to get a standout sandwich but this is indeed the case. A fantastic selection to choose from.

Food was great, especially the hot sandwich (I got the chicken Philly). The prices are good for the size of the meal, and the owner was friendly as well. Also, a well stocked liquor selection and small market.

This is the cutest family owned place. Nina made us amazing breakfast sandwiches. Get them with hash on it! (Thanks for the suggestion) They have a great selection of liquor, wine, beer, seltzers, and groceries. So glad we found this spot! Will definitely be back for deli sandwiches!

Got our day started right by getting the Breakfast Croissant and an egg and Egg and Sausage burrito here. Made fresh in front of us, very reasonable priced, and very well located. We are here a few days, and I see the future….breakfast will be there daily! 🤩Probably shouldn’t post this before we leave, but they will be worth the wait if word gets out!

The "Gio Supreme" might have been the best sandwich I ever had! We went there for lunch twice in a row. Very friendly people as well!

Mario and Regan could not have been any more helpful with choosing the wine best suited for our dinner and Regan’s sandwiches were the bomb. Will be grabbing lunch here often! Both guys are extremely personable, Mario might be borderlines funny.

I love the Hub! This is one of my go-to delis and liquor stores when I'm in the Gaslamp area. Gio and the rest of the crew here are awesome. They are the nicest people. The Deli Area is all the way in the back

They really care about the quality of food here. Delicious sandwiches and sides made to order in the back of the store. You can call ahead to order. They have a huge selection of snacks and drinks as well.

I love this store already lol ... i I was briefly roling thru SD Gaslamp district and i stopped to get some water & a few snacks..This store has literally every alcohol for gifts or consumtion you can ask for
and Mr Regan, thank you for generosity & Kindness.. trust me Kindness goes along way in my eyes.not only are you a perfect gentleman, but you showed concern & thoughtfulness.

The Hub Market has THE best breakfast burritos, amazing hot and cold sandwiches, wine, beer, soda, snacks - pretty much whatever you’re looking for, and at truly wallet-gentle prices. The owners and their staff are most welcoming and friendly. Do yourself a big favor and get to The Hub Market - we’re going to miss this place when we get home.

Wow these are some awesome sandwiches. Actually some of the best I’ve had in SD. I have no clue why though. They don’t have anything super special in terms of ingredients or combinations. Just basic, fresh, tasty sandwiches with a good vibe. This is like a perfect day to day spot for anyone that works nearby. Definitely a good weekend grab for me
