Great shop, best prices in town. Always there to help and has great people working the shop. Joey is amazing on his fishing knowledge and willing to help you catch the fish.

Took an old rod to get new guides and they went above and beyond fully restoring it including the old wood handles. I was very impressed and shocked. It was like a whole new rod. Wish I had before pictures to demonstrate the difference.

This place rocks everything you could possibly want for fishing. A huge selection of fishing pole making supplies. I bought a very nice lobster net and kit. I also bought fishing license and lobster card. The people working here had some serious customer service skills. They were kind, helpful and I didn't have to wait. Which was amazing because this place was busy. Also I want to point out when trying to find the place if you blink you can miss it. It looks small from outside but has a huge selection.

Super impressed with this store. I came in today after a fishing tournament with a friend. They were very welcoming, they offered lots of help, and they knew their stuff. I was also surprised that they would give out free drinks. I thought that was pretty damn cool. They have a large variety of fishing rods, Line, bait and more. I would definitely be returning, and recommend this place to others

This is my favorite tackle store in San Diego. They have the friendliest staff, which is perfect if you're a novice angler just getting into fishing or a seasoned veteran. They have everything you will need for surf, inshore and offshore fishing and all the knowledge of the local fishing scene!!

My grandpa and I have been going here as far back as I can remember. The owner and his son are the best. I no longer live in the state and this shop has ruined every other shop for me haha. 1000% recommend for all you san diego fishing needs.

Amazing customer service, the owner the employees, came in at 8:30. Opened on the dot. Owner gave us some extra bait for our troubles, everyone in the store was polite, ready to start the day, wow. Been here 3 times and will be coming here every time afterwards. They deserve your patronage! Spend your money here.

My boyfriend came into this shop looking for direction on fishing in SD today as we are new to the area and are looking to rent a boat to do some fishing next weekend. The young man that helped him was INCREDIBLY knowledgeable, kind, and overall helpful. He was able to provide extremely in-depth knowledge on equipment, regulations, location, and even on how certain fish taste! We will be back for sure, as we are certain he is the most knowledgeable fisherman in San Diego.

Flew in for a fishing trip, needed a little extra gear for times I was not on the boat, the young fella helping me was absolutely great, told him what and where I wanted to fish from jetty and the pier, he helped me out and hooked me up with some baits that didn't break the bank. Only regret I have is not picking up a couple more rods.... not that I needed them but the prices there are amazing!

Great shop, first time that we stepped into the shop we were treated as if we were regulars! They take customer service very seriously here and give the best service out of any store front by far! Everyone I recommend here have had nothing but positive experiences and if your new to the hobby they have a lot of patience and knowledge to help get you started and they won’t take advantage of you by trying to up sell you on unnecessary tackle! They will set you up within beginner gear and let you move up as needed or wanted.

This is home of all great fisherman, the only thing they need is a wall of fame, there staff is pretty knowledgable and they have a wide variety. They are quick in their service and try to get you in and out quick. I been a customer for 10 years now and have only good things to say. But im due to come back for my Red Jig. Great place for beginners and the main spot for the pros.
