Kava Sol

I had an amazing time New Years Eve with my family at an event held at Kava Sol. The atmosphere was amazing, the vibes were amazing, they don’t serve food but this particular event had food there and it was delicious! We played board games and networked with other people while we were there, a tarot reader was there too. We tried quite a few different drinks, they all tasted so good and kept us energized plus chilled out!
This is definitely our favorite Kava spot, I highly recommend. Kava Sol has different events held there too!

The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful, calming, & social.”Great vibes” all the time. The servers are passionate & knowledgeable. The drinks are creative, aesthetically beautiful & taste delightful. The events they have are attractive, interesting, & valuable. My husband & I don’t drink alcohol & it’s a great alternative to a loud bar - you can laugh, talk, & meet beautiful people in this space. I highly recommend checking out Kava Sol! ✨💫

A botanical bar in downtown Willoughby offering an alternative to alcohol. The atmosphere of peace and love is unmatched!! Their staff is kind and knowledgeable; educating on the benefits of their offerings! I love that I can go and sit alone, and work in a beautiful atmosphere, or I can mingle with like-minded people, building deeper connections and lifelong friends!! I love this place!!

Hidden Gem in Downtown Willoughby, especially for non-drinkers or sober-curious people. Welcoming, knowledgeable staff and owners. Best mixology I've ever experienced using Kava & Kratom Teas. Calm, beachy/boho vibes throughout makes it easy to relax and enjoy yourself. They also host many interesting events from Open Mic Nights to Yoga, Meditation, Breathwork and Tarot readings. Perfect for those looking for a more uplifting social experience, without the loud bar scene or hangover.

I visited Kava Sol on a Thursday afternoon with some coworkers so we could brainstorm in a creative environment. We had been talking about visiting Kava Sol for a few weeks and are so glad we were able to make it happen! The vibe is chill, the drinks are delicious, and the staff was delightful! I even bought a few candles and a Kava Sol shirt so I can rep the brand! I will definitely be back with friends and my husband!

Have been here a handful of times and enjoy it every single time! The drinks make you feel good and they have all different types of drinks. The kavtenders are knowledgeable and kind. We need more places like this!

The best spot lake county has to offer!!!! The staff and chill vibe are second to none!!! If I could come everyday I would!!! My besties and I make it our weekly go to, to catch up and relax! I cant speak enough good things about Kava Sol!!! ❤

What a wonderful hidden gem!! The kava drinks are so delicious, and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. If you have never had kava:l, the staff is very knowledgeable and will talk you thru the menu. This is a great non-alcoholic option for a fun evening.

They have games available to play while you enjoy the relaxed and cozy atmosphere. There is also outdoor seating available for good weather days. I will definitely be returning to relax and hang out with friends.

We visited Kava Sol for the first time last night and we CANNOT wait to go back! This is such an amazing concept to bring fun, alcohol-free alternatives to the Downtown Willoughby landscape. The crafted kava and kratom tea cocktails were INCREDIBLE and the vibe was so refreshing and relaxing. I left feeling sociable yet chill and completely clear-minded and connected. I can’t say enough positive things about this masterful concept. Definitely put it on your bucket list!

Absolutely delightful atmosphere and delicious, high-vibe menu! The carefully designed and alcohol-free space lends to a pure, relaxed, safe and happy feeling. Love the outdoor patio. The service from Catherine was supurb, you can tell she and the rest of the staff are really passionate about the mission and providing a positive experience.

Be aware of the slightly secret entrance...the address leads to the main road, but there's an alley next to Karma Kitchen. Turn there and Kava Sol's patio will be on the right side about 100 yds. There is parking back there also. I personally think this descrete entrance adds to the charm!

BEAUTIFUL in so many ways!!!
1. The owners and their mission to spread light and love in the world, minus alcohol...yay!!!
2. The space! Decorated and vibing with great energy...calm, hip, joyful...all the things you want in a space where you can work and play!
3. The cocktails! I rated "Food" at 5 stars but that was for the cocktail menu. I went on a "Vacation" and LOVED it! It literally left me feeling lighter, happier, super social, and chill all at the same time...vacation... My husband's favorite was the signature "Kava Sol" served in a coconut bowl... he felt like he was on an island and loved the sustained energy from it, and the tropical taste.
4. Location! Downtown Willoughby is super cool! But take note to the tricky part of where Kava Sol is actually...your map will take you to the main road, and you will be looking and not finding it. There's an alley next to Karma Kitchen...turn into it, Kava Sol's patio will be on the right hand side about 100 yds. There is parking back there also.
Bottom-line give Kava Sol a try!!! If you know nothing about kava, that's cool...ask about it, get educated and take your time trying what you may like...let the experience sink in before ordering another cocktail...each person's experience is different. Most of all, ENJOY being social WITHOUT alcohol ;)

Loved having our first of many Kava Sol nights! The atmosphere instantly makes you feel welcome and at home. It’s so great having a place to get together with friends and enjoy a place that brings people together without the need for alcohol. On top of a great night out, it was the first night I’ve slept through the night in over a week and woke up feeling so calm and at peace ❤ can’t wait for more great times there!

Such a trendy spot with a welcoming atmosphere. Great addition to DTW! The drinks were delicious, and I love that it’s an alcohol free environment. Lindsay and Catherine were so friendly and welcoming, just an overall great experience. Can’t wait to be back! 🌞✨

I stopped into Kava Sol while I was in town for a wedding. I didn’t feel like drinking alcohol, so this was a perfect alternative way to relax and unwind before the wedding. I wish they would open one of these in Chicago. Mat and Stephanie (the bartender) were really nice and gave me a mini crash course on the benefits of Kava. Very welcoming and relaxing environment. Open one of these in Chicago please.

Kava sol is a relaxing fun environment for people to socialize and relax. They always have great live events. The drinks are absolutely delicious! The staff is always helpful and very educated on their products. It’s very refreshing to have an alcohol free place to gather.

Kava Sol has such a wonderful atmosphere to catch up with old friends and make new ones! The drinks were refreshing and creative. Kava offers an opportunity to feel relaxed and open minded without the harmful and addictive qualities like alcohol. As a sober person, I’m so glad to have a unique place to socialize and relax!

This is my go to place when I want a special treat. The staff is friendly. They are informative and take the time to explain what Kava and Kratom is all about. They make some pretty delicious and creative drinks. Love to grab one of these drinks when I need a boost!

Kava Sol is the most inviting, intentional, and coziest place in Lake County. I am genuinely thankful that owner Lindsay Kronk saw what was needed and created a uniquely comfortable and collaborative space for new and old friends to gather. It may sound dramatic, but you can feel the love and intention poured into every detail -- from the home-like atmosphere to the always-updating menu and the weekly/monthly events and workshops. Each staffer takes pride in their craft and goes out of their way to be welcoming and genuinely kind to everyone who enters the door. I had never tried kava before visiting this location, and it's been so relaxing and fun to unwind without worrying about hangovers or disrupted sleep. Again, I'm so grateful that this space exists. TLDR: If you need someplace peaceful to hang out, work, or catch up with friends, you've found it.

I love this little slice of peace right in DTW. It’s such a great alternative to the regular bar scene, and offers some of the best kava/kratom drinks I’ve ever had. The staff are all super friendly and knowledgeable about kava and kratom, and the owners are both the sweetest people you will ever meet. I came here for a date night with my husband and he loved it as well! Can’t say enough good things about Kava Sol. Just come and see for yourself! You won’t regret it!
