Staff (esp Olga) work very hard to help customers quickly, so the time spent waiting in line is short.
This has been my pharmacy for years and they’ve never made even the tiniest mistake.
SO much better than Barbur Fred Meyer or the nearby Walgreens. No comparison

It is a great pharmacy. Not too busy like Fred Meyer's down the street. They are quick and know me by name!

I've been getting my bi-monthly rxs filled here for a few years, and rarely have any problems. David & Olga are very professional and helpful. A few times the wait has been a bit long, but they've been struggling with staff shortages due to the pandemic, so I practice patience. I appreciate that they're always trying to do their best.

Staff is negligent and un-knowledgeable. Olga and her techs do not know pharmaceutical law, AND/OR they LIE to customer’s faces. I’m not sure which is worse.

Usually they feign ignorance to avoid transferring your prescription.

I had to correct them myself. They made me do so, by continuing to fabricate NEW lies or mistakes in response to what they’re saying being easily disproven, in front of their face, and in plain view of all.

Then they have secondary and tertiary lies in which they get the law WRONG. DEA Regulations regarding e-transfer of schedule 2-5 drugs is now allowed in response to the ADHD medication shortage and HAS BEEN since July 27, 2023, over 7 months ago. Shameful.

She says “It’s illegal”, I show her it’s NOT.
“Suddenly” she all-of-a-sudden “knows” the regulation, and get’s it WRONG again- says its for schedule 3-5. It’s 2-5. Easily shown. A minute ago there “was no” regulation, now suddenly there is, and she still gets it wrong.

FINALLY Olga THEN says there is a STATE regulation prohibiting e-transfer, which there is NOT; the BOLDEST statement - because it can’t be mistaken for human error (which would ALSO be OUTRAGEOUS- pharmaceutical mistakes can KILL)

No such state regulation was found. Or exists.

After being educated by a customer in their OWN craft, which requires LICENSURE- a stock of vyvanse that they “did not have” magically appeared for me.

Weird how that works. Pills that are OOS magically appear when they’re called out for being dishonest.

Stop going to this pharmacy before they hurt someone. But hey, at least she was “nice.”

Very unreliable and slow. I spoke with multiple staff last week about filling a prescription and they told me it would be filled. When I went to pick it up today, the staff told me they did not carry that medication and would have to order it. So after speaking with 3 different staff members over the course of a week, the medication is still not filled. Would not recommend this pharmacy.

This pharmacy is truly awful. I've had problems with them filling orders on time in the past but nothing like this.

My dog has had an eye injury/possible infection for over a month now and has seen the vet twice. They finally prescribed a course of antibiotics to treat it and I had them call this Safeway to fill it - big mistake.

Two weeks, multiple phone calls both from me and the vet, and several voicemails later and guess what - still no medication or even a single call back. By comparison Costco filled it for me within 48 hours.

In terms of recommending this location, if this was the last pharmacy on earth I would say open your own.

The website says "Walk-Ins welcome, no appointment necessary" for vaccines. This is not true! When I called numerous times to confirm this information, I found that they don't answer the phone, nor do they return a message....so it was a wasted trip and wasted time waiting in line!
I prefer considerate and accurate information!

This pharmacy has gone downhill the last few months. First, they briefly misplaced my medication, then they almost never pick up their phone calls and finally they just denied me my medication with little explanation when my doctor said that shouldnt be happening. Find another pharmacy if you want to avoid headaches and stress!

This pharmacy shouldn't exist. There's no staffing and they don't answer the phones. If you want to speak to someone then you have to drive into the pharmacy to do it in person. I've been with them for a year and this is not an exaggeration. The store manager knows as well, it's something you just have to accept. The pharmacy also won't answer your doctor's phone calls.

I suppose the positive side is that there are never any lines at the store because people do not return as customers for regular monthly prescription fills.

If you want to get a prescription filled as a one-off with no refills, then this could be a good pharmacy for you. Although, they frequency mess up the dosages of medications (too much or too little), do partial or overfills on the quantity, or fill the wrong form of a medication (extended release, liquid, disintegrating).

I really think they should just shut down and reopen when they have sufficient and competent staff. Portland is a tough city when it comes to good pharmacies, the good ones are way too swamped with customers with long wait times, and the bad ones you find out through trial and error. The best pharmacy I've visited was the CVS on 23rd, but they won't fill certain types of medications and they aren't open on weekends. Next would be the Fred Meyer on Interstate.
