Came here mid day during the week and there was a short line that moved fairly quickly.. cool area, good atmosphere. Friendly staff. Security only lets a few people into the actual store at a time. Limited street parking with meters, I suggest looking at the menu while standing in line so you’re ready to go once you get inside, funny donuts but absolutely delicious. Would recommend and return.

I was super excited to finally enjoy a doughnut from this place. There is a wait. They allow one group of families in at a time. This way you get to experience the shop at your leisure. Lots of awesome souvenirs to by. So many yummy doughnuts to choose. Definitely must experience it in person!!

Iconic location for years with unique donut designs and flavors plus some that you'll recognize. Always a stop when visiting Portland to get some delicious donuts.

This time was the bacon maple bar, banana cream, which really tasted like a banana cream pie! Each day during the holiday week is a specific donut special for two dollars! Today was blueberry cake... full of flavor and soft cake donut. One of my faves is the voodoo doll donut, filled with jelly, and dressed in chocolate with a pretzel stick piercing its heart 😋.

Tourist attraction, usually really long lines to get in. Stop by and check it out! Location right in downtown near Portland Saturday markets and the waterfront.

What a cool little novelty doughnut shop in Portland located in Old Town. The area is not the best, reminiscent of most downtowns now, but it kind of adds to its charm.

Firstly, this place almost always has a line up. So be prepared to line up, rain or shine.

Secondly, they let people in by groups. So if you’re a couple or a group of 8, it doesn’t matter, your group goes in at once. They have two cashiers working so you have two groups at any given time. The lineup on a weekday afternoon is about 10 minutes.

The doughnuts are fun, definitely a novelty. They’re sweet, fresh, and very rich. If that’s your style of doughnut, then you’ll love it.

The voodoo doughnut itself is kind of cute. It’s basically a long John doughnut with a ton of jelly in it… and I mean a TON!

Overall a fun experience that you should try at least once to form your own opinion on it. It’s not my style of doughnut, but I did enjoy the experience.

EXCELLENT! It was worth the 15 minutes in line. They let one group in at a time and you get very warm service. Grape donut was outstanding! Spicy chocolate was interesting and enjoyable but not too spicy. Lots of chooses.

Best vegan donuts anywhere. Worth the wait. Worth listening to a car alarm for 15 minutes. Worth ignoring the random man laughing maniacally across the street. Well worth the price they charged. Good stuff.

Awesome donuts! I'm a total cheapskate but these are worth it! The security guard outside that only lets one group in at a time seems ridiculous, maybe on a Friday or Saturday night at 2am but a weekday afternoon? But, the donuts are worth it!

Does voodoo doughnut need another good review? I feel like everyone knows they are great— but here goes: really fun and creative doughnuts! Flavor and quality is very high for the price. There seems to always be a wait ( also there is a security guard at the door) but it’s all worth it. Even the line/queue is kinda fun to wait in. I believe they are the best in Portland.

Bought it to eat because it's well-known~ With controlled store entry, the purchase experience was very pleasant, giving a one-on-one service feel🫶🏻 Really delicious!Inside, there's jam that's slightly tangy, not overly sweet.

Requisite PDX tourist stop. The remodel makes the inside more orderly. These are damn good doughnuts and you go for the variety.

This is a very good Voodoo Doughnut location. It’s located in downtown Portland, Oregon. In the evening the in-store portion is closed, but there is a walk-up window to you can order doughnuts to-go. The doughnuts are delicious. I definitely recommend ordering from this location.

This place is a must for donut lovers! Quite a unique selection of donuts to choose from! Prepare to wait as it's a personable experience having a cashier get you outside when it's your turn to pick your selection but it goes really fast. Staff was really friendly and there's lots of cool places nearby including the Keep Portland Weird mural across the street.

Voodoo Doughnuts is a premier doughnut shop in the United States and has been renowned for its unique creativity and delicious concoctions. The wait was short on a Sunday afternoon, and we were able to be in and out of the shop after only 10 minutes. The mango-cream doughnut was a unique delicacy that I enjoyed. But what's even better is the price! The doughnuts are reasonably priced, and the staff provided such individualized experiences through basic conversational prompts that I felt well attended to. Go ahead and visit the crown jewel of doughnuts in America.

What's not to love! Large, very flavorful and funky doughnuts. I had a maple cream doughnut. The raised doughnut was light and the maple icing was very tasty!! However, expect a very, very long wait as they only let one group in at a time. And there are a lot of choices....

I had the pleasure of trying their donuts recently, and while I've had better in my life, I must say they were still very good. What stood out to me was the unique selection of flavors they offered. It was refreshing to see such original choices.

Furthermore, I had a great experience with the staff. They were exceptionally friendly and helpful. To top it off, I lucked out with only two people ahead of me in line, which made the whole visit even more enjoyable.

A place I always have stop by when I’m going through Portland. They have scrumptious doughnuts that are out of the ordinary in ways more than just their flavors. Only bad thing specifically about this location though is that if you come here late into the evening it’s right across the street from a biker bar so be prepared for deafeningly loud engine revs. (Seriously my ears were still ringing when I got back to the car)

Not only were the donuts absolutely amazing, but the service was something I’ll never forget. Sososos kind and welcoming.
Also very wheelchair accessible :) 10/10 and worth the hype!

I used to dislike voodoo donuts.
Many Portlanders are pretty down on their actual donuts. But in a recent visit I realized their traditional donuts are really quite solid.
If you do, I'd recommend trying one traditional in addition to their gimmick donuts.

My brother brought us the voodoo dozen. The presentation on them is cool. However some of them, the taste for me is quite peculiar. My sisters boyfriend got the maple with the bacon top and loved it. I tried a piece of every donut and my favorite was the chocolate ring and the maple blazer blunt. The flavors stood out the most for me. I highly recommend this sort of dozen to try a little bit of every donut and see what you like most.

What do you do when you are on edibles and vegan and want some dessert later in the night. We checked out this place around 11pm and joined the long line of people wanting some treats at night. The line moved slowly and took us 45 minutes to get to the window. Unfortunately the buskers were blasting loud music at the window using speakers that made it difficult to communicate- but we persisted and got some of the vegan donuts. The donuts were pretty good.

We ate them all up. They are big and one is a big portion. But we did enjoy them back in the peace and quiet at the hotel lobby.

I can say I did it- but the line will deter me to return in the future.
