Awesome and friendly staff here. They go the extra mile to help people shopping. The bottle drop employees are friendly as well and they keep it open till 11 pm which is awesome as well. Keep up the good work peeps.

It was a great experience shopping here the store has a wide selection to chose from and has a great discount section. The staff are very Friendly and there is even a garage with free parking for shoppers

If any Safeway has it, this one will. Big store. Best selection. Newer so lots of coolers and frozen items. Friendlier than most, lot's of covered parking. No hassle's.

Fresh produce. Great customer service. Nice to have an experienced wine person there to help with you choices...

Best Safeway in Portland. Love this store so clean and always have the items I need.. and I'm a kid at heart I can't get enough of the elevator ride. Lol

Philip is awesome he's the best cashier there. And the night crew is WAY BETTER than the day crew. I WILL NOT step foot in this store until they come on..

Great produce, bakery and deli/ hot food offerings.

We went to grab food & supplies the morning of Xmas eve. Alex was our checker AND the only cashier working. Alex was holding it down like a champion! Made our holiday shopping experience wonderful & less stressful. Promote Alex to manager ASAP they have GREAT customer service.

Always have a great time with my checkers. However saw three different thieves comes and go. With big things. Not sure why that happened, right in front of myself and five year old.

Love this store!! Will go way out of my way just to take care of my shopping here. The fresh meat available is almost always above average, produce as well. Seriously, great staff, always pleasant, the store always looks great. These guys are usually more expensive, but if you sign up for the Club Card & keep up on the weekly specials, the savings will definitely surprise you.

Going towards downtown on Barbur this place is a light in the darkness along I-5. I've been shopping here my whole life. At the Fred Meyer down the street? Armed security guards and alarms out every door going off all the time.

This place? Not nearly so much as Fred Meyer. Which I appreciate when I want to sit down and drink a coffee in the morning.

Nice Safeway, very clean, has a large selection. The bathrooms need a code but staff are happy to share it. Plus, there are three stalls in the women’s restroom and it’s very clean. We’re in and out very quickly, it wasn’t very busy.

I love this Safeway. It seems to be a little pricier than some of the other stores but given the location it makes sense. The customer service is just as good as the service in other stores.The parking is unique in the fact that there is a covered parking garage attached to the store so you never have to get rained on, and in the summer it prevents your car from getting to hot. All on all I enjoy shopping here!!

Everyone who works at this store is extremely nice! Each time I go in, they have always been very kind and attentive to my needs. I got an incredible cake from the bakery the other day and had the best conversation with the ladies who made it, then checked out with a wonderful woman who was so nice and down-to-Earth. Also, I brought the cake to work and there were no leftovers the next day, it was delicious!

Thank you to the staff. My mom was stranded with a dead battery in there parking lot. She was a bit scared because of a group of homeless people in their lot. I called and asked them if someone could check on her and they immediately sent someone out to check on her. Great response and thank you for caring about your customers in this way. 👍

Shop the sales. Check the weekly ad... like this week BUY 1 Tillamook Ice Cream 1.5 Liter GET 2 FREE. Can't beat that!
Update: NW Cherries 1.97. Shop those loss leaders. Safeway has some great deals to get you over there. Works for me.

Great store. It’s clean, it’s well stocked and most of the time you can always count on the item you are looking for to be there.
Yesterday I was in to drop a prescription and while waiting for it to be filled I decided to do some shopping. Lines were pretty long, it was busy. One manager (Sarah?) helped me at customer service. She was fast, nice and helpful. Should have asked if she were single ;)

One of the nicest Safeway stores I've ever been into. Beautifully organized, the deli was actually pretty, all the food prepared so well and looked so fresh. I had the Antipasto salad and it was delicious. Beautiful Store. 5 Star.

Came into the store to get ribs,potato salad,cherries and a few other groceries..great and friendly customer service
