Frequent here quite a bit usually in the afternoons, but the few times I've stopped at night the employees have been just as great! Lines never long.

They keep the straws behind the counter. I don't know why. The cashier said it was the law. Why would that be a law?

Also, why is there a Giant sheet of plexiglass barrier between the cashier's counter and the store? I'm full-on confused. Maybe it's bulletproof?

I know. The employees must've been assaulted by the unruly, unhoused masses, and their barrage of spitwads one too many times. The attacks.... done with Plaid's own tissue and straw, no less.

If frustration had a name it would be this place at 4 a. I love this store and the people that work here but they really got to figure out their overnight shift

This is going to be a weird reason to enjoy a place, but I come here for ice. We don't have an ice machine and Plaid Pantry always has some. I have hit up some other places in the area and they have been out of ice. Well now I always come here for ice, which is great for me when I am hosting and making cocktails or just one of the miserably hot days (>85 degrees to portlanders) in Portland.

To the owner of this franchisee: this place has been “closed” more times than I’ve tried to go there, can’t really call this a “convenient” store with all the random closing times.

Why is this location always closed around 430-630am?! I'm super frustrated that this is supposed to be a 24 hour location yet it seems to be closed. Super unprofessional, and frustrating. This has been going on for months.

Supposedly closed at 7:30 because I could see the lady working . Called to see what was going on and got asked “can you read?” Are you kidding me? Will not be back.
