Manzanita Mudd Dogs

UPDATE: This little stand has always had fantastic Chicago dogs (called “Mudd Dogs” here because their family name is Mudd)
But now they also do a couple of excellent breakfast meals too! (plus mimosas!)
Breakfast brats with eggs, peppers and cheese. They also have biscuits and gravy.
They have classic 80’s music playing softly in the background. What a great place to eat breakfast and lunch just a block from the beach. Can’t wait to come back!

Authentic Chicago-style dogs, or ask for whatever you want. If there's a line, you'll probably wait, so take a breath and embrace Manzanita time. Very dog-friendly: they have treats that are hotdog pieces, so pretty much the best.

Excellent tube shaped meat! One the best dog buns I’ve had in a long time and worth the drive. Excellent friendly service and for charity. Do NOT pass this up, it is your duty to enjoy and contribute!

Best Chicago dog I’ve had out west! Being from Chicago this spot did NOT disappoint. Owner was awesome too!

This is my go to spot in Manzanita, and my go to food is a Chicago Style Mudd Dog...ALL Day. I wish it was open year round...but this little gym of a town is lucky to have Mudd Dogs, and so are us patrons.

Dude, I don’t normally even like hot dogs but these were awesome. High quality buns, dogs, and toppings. Owner was nice.

A bit pricy, but great service. I’ve stopped a couple times for a quick bite. They have a selection of toppings and make a great dog. Used to live in Chicago and it’s nice to have a reminder on the “Windy City”. The owner was so kind and even gave a spare half a hot dog for my dogs. They loved it.

Friendly service and the best Chicago dog you can get around, one of the best dogs we’ve ever had!

Great hot dogs right next to the beach

I have been having the Chicago Style Mudd Dog for more years than I can remember. This is an annual event for my wife and me. Jim and his wife and crew are the best of the best. They make one feel like coming back every year and helping by eating a few of their delicious Mudd Dogs, my favorite food by the way.

Go help them out and enjoy a few for yourself.

Try the Chicago Dog! Perfect beach day light lunch. Owner is nice and the place has an awesome beach vibe!

Family owned, delicious Chicago dog, and the nicest owners. Oh, and you’re steps from the beach! Does it get any better than this?!

Definitely stop here next time you’re in or near Manzanita. The polish breakfast dog was delicious and Mike and Brad are a riot.

My favorite place in Manzanita!!! Since it was Labor Day-last day of season, we ate one each and came back for 2 more to enjoy later!! They Muddnick foundation is a great charity for the local kids!!

This place will make you feel great. Wonderful family working for a great cause too. First rate hot dogs on a summer day sitting in clean shady tables. Perfect!

We are from Kansas City and traveling down the coast and stumbled upon Manzanita Mudd Dogs. Not only were the hotdogs incredible, with lots of different options, the customer service was top-notch—they were soooo friendly!!! Definitely stop if you’re in the area!

The customer service was awesome and the dog was delicious. Would highly recommend
