Cloud & Leaf Bookstore, LLC

This bookstore is a must-stop on my yearly respite to Manzanita. I tend to pack at least two books in my carry-on for a normal trip, but when I'm going to Manzanita, I pack zero and let the Cloud and Leaf shelves decide what I will read for the week. It's one of the coziest independent bookstores I've ever visited. Stop in for your next "beach read."

The local authors and staff picks' always end up as my favorites- this one, Kingfisher Lane, is a page-turner in the best way.

Spectacular little bookstore! We went on a quick trip when we ran out of books on an exceptionally rainy week-long trip to the coast, and I loved the selection of items that the shop fits into its cozy space. I also appreciate a good local authors section and bookstore swag, both of which you get at Cloud & Leaf.

This bookstore holds such a special place in my heart, it has been open for many years and coming to the beach as kids we would come here to buy books. Now coming here as an adult I appreciate the selection of books, how many local authors are represented and showcased, and how they have kept this place updated and in good condition over the years! I will be coming back many more times and hope to bring my own kids here one day!

LOVE this bookstore! From awesome & carefully selected books in every section, which is extensive and well organized, to the lovely, well-priced small gift/card items! I treasure my visits here!

What an exquisite little bookstore. Very small but has an extensive selection of books in very good taste. The atmosphere is relaxing as well. If you’re in manzanita I recommend stopping by.

My favorite bookstore in my favorite town. The owner/employees are always down to give suggestions and I've always enjoyed what they suggest. Very cute store, they are so friendly with my small kids and tolerant of the ruckus toddlers bring in. We feel comfortable taking our time to choose books, and the assistance is readily available but not in your face. I'll continue filling our bookshelves with books from here for a long time to come.

What an awesome bookstore! They celebrated an anniversary doing business today! They had balloons and cookies to celebrate! Fantastic spot for books. Can't wait to get my vacation read on!

Cutest bookstore on the coast! Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Which I personally enjoyed talking the lady that was working last time I was there for my bday. Right next to coffee shops. So you can grab a good book, a artisan coffee and iced lemon poppyseed muffin, and post up in the sand to reconnect your soul to the universe.

We love this little bookstore. If you are visiting Manzanita this is a great place to stop in and find books for the whole family. That's what we did and we'll be back!

Very cute. Books are expensive, just generally, not specific to here. But the selection was good and there were staff recommendations and reviews, cute art stuff by the register. Could have spent a whole day in here looking around. On Sunday, the attendant found a book and brought it to me based on what I was browsing, and I liked it and got it (ocean life field identification guide)

We were in Manzanita for a week, and visited this shop twice making several purchases. They had many novels that I had on my wish list, and a fantastic selection for kids. My 7 year old is really into chapter book series and they had a lot of great ones to choose from, but more importantly, they had every book in the series so after plowing through the first two, we could head back to the shop for the rest.

Besides books, the shop keeper was super friendly and suggested some fantastic chocolate as well. Books and chocolate? What could be better?

This is a lovely smaller book store but don't let that fool you the selection of books is wonderful. We both found a book me in mystery and my husband only reads Si-Fi. Shocking that he found a great selection. Thank you so much.

One of the best bookstores I've ever been to in terms of selection, atmosphere, friendliness, and overall vibe. The owner was knowledgeable and seemingly very passionate about her curation and helpfulness. I would read just about every book on those shelves. Thank you for a wonderful experience and a treasure trove of new reading material.

Visit this place even if you don't much care for books - it's magical and you'll feel good just being in there. It's like a spa - you'll feel better when you leave than you did when you walked in.

If you do like books, you'll be amazed how such a small space seems to have just about every book you ever read or wanted to read.

Small bookstores all try to be like this, but few are. This one nails it.
