This was THE best lunch in town ! So fresh ! The crab cakes were delicious - service was friendly and attentive. The entire staff were wonderful and kind ! The Crab Salad and the Blackened Halibut Sandwich were superb ! We will be back again and soon !

Exactly the kind of dining experience for lunch that I'd hope for on the Oregon Coast! Better than the rating implies. We were greeted quickly, and seated immediately on the patio outside. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was served faster than expected. The crab cake appetizer was delicious. Side salads were good. The blue cheese dressing was runnier than I prefer, but the flavor was good. Had the clam chowder bread bowl, salmon sandwich, and Crab Melts. Everything was visually great. Flavor was enjoyable. Server kept our drinks filled. Highly recommend eating here!

Some of the best food I've had on the coast. They're burgers are deliciously juicy, fries are oh so crispy and the beef dip was the best I've ever had. I think the Au Jus must have been harvested from the tears of newborn angels. Service was great too, very friendly staff and a quiet, enjoyable atmosphere. Love this place.

The food was really good. We got clam chowder, kids meal burger, sandwich, and fish and chips. It’s so cozy, cute and warm inside.

I'm really surprised that this place doesn't have higher ratings. The food was delicious and the service was great. My niece had chicken strips, my sister had a burger and I had cod and clam chowder. Chowder. Loved their food. The fries are especially good. They're cooked just perfectly. Most of Cannon Beach seem to be pretty overpriced, but I found local grill and scoop very reasonable.

Food was delicious and served within 5 minutes of ordering. Server was working alone but was still very attentive, only thing that could have been better was getting greeted on arrival. Prices better than many others in the area.

Best fries of my life. The crisp level was to perfection. A big old plate of them. I ordered the hot seafood salad. Everything about the salad hit the spot, from its fresh romaine, lettuce and raw tomatoes to its perfectly cooked scallops, tiny shrimp, and bacon flavor. I also appreciate the tanginess of the vinaigrette, and found the flavor unique. I also ordered an oyster shooter, which I found refreshing and tasty. And don’t get me started on the excellent service. My waitress Jordan was outstanding with her warmth and attentiveness. I definitely recommend this restaurant. Many gluten free options. Looking forward to returning to this restaurant when I’m back at Cannon Beach!

stopped in on a rainy cool day & tried the mediterranean seafood stew; it was amazing! hit the spot after walking around in the chilly weather. flavors were great and had various seafood in it. also got a marion berry crisp which was delicious but pricey. our server was very nice and helpful

John Mark was our server and he was the best. This place is much, much better than the rating. I tried the burger with mushrooms and kids had crab legs. If you are on Oregon Coast, you need to stop by this place.

Local Grill and Scoop in Cannon Beach is really easy to see when walking or driving on N Hemlock Street.

What is really nice is that they serve a full menu even between lunch and dinner, the time we had arrived. And like many of the restaurants in CB they are super pet friendly with a very spacious outdoor patio area.

I had the Blackened Halibut Fettuccine which had a nice flare and the more I ate it the more I wanted more! It was a large cut of Halibut that was as fresh and well cooked as they come.

My kids had the Crab Melt which had large chunks of (real) crab; and the Chicken Caesar Salad which was solid.

From start to finish the service was exceptional!

Ate breakfast here everyday for a weekend and it was awesome. Love their full stack of French toast with bacon. Service was great and our table was watered constantly.

Best homemade clam chowder in town!! And we’ve pretty much tried every place in town. Blackened cod tacos were delicious. Plenty of indoor (built in booths near the windows) and outdoor seating. Fast and friendly service!

An adorable little café with excellent breakfast food, and friendly and attentive staff. A bonus for our family is their gluten-free french toast!

After having horrible service from pizza a fetta in Cannon Beach, we wanted to make another trip to this lovely establishment! Our family of 6 and two dogs had breakfast around 9:30am on Sunday the 21st. The service was amazing, I didn’t catch our waitress name but she was amazing and the gentleman who helped who was just as amazing! Thank you so much! The food was perfect! And we can’t wait to come back!

Love to come here. We’ve been several times. The Marion berry cobbler was delicious and the waitress was friendly.

We love coming here for a cold draft and a cup of clam chowder. The clam chowder is A+! The service is always friendly and there's plenty of time to just enjoy, they don't hurry your experience. We love this place. If you want to enjoy the beach cuisine, the relaxed environment, friendly service and delicious foods, come here! It's also a local-owned favorite... and you know me! Ask Dakota! And enjoy your time!!

The atmosphere was very positive. Great service and friendly faces! Also, if you are looking for a great country fried steak. Probably top 3 breakfastes I've ever had! Can't wait to come back! If you are a tourist here at Canon Beach, definitely come here!

Had the Blackened Halibut tacos. Best I ever had. Wife had the Prawn tacos with mango Pico de Gallo. She said it was amazing. Will go hear for breakfast to give it a shot, since the lunch was awesome. Waitress was super friendly and tentative to keeping us happy.

The hostess was a doll. Accommodated our stroller with our newborn. The food was SO GOOD - I ordered the blackened fish tacos on special. It was delicious. The drinks were great too. Will definitely recommend.

My wife and I love this place, it's probably our favorite place to eat in Cannon Beach. The food is always great and our golden retriever always has a shady spot on the patio to lie down. It's fast becoming our go-to place for breakfast AND dinner.
