Schwietert's Cones & Candy

The candy there is great and the ice cream is amazing! They really give you a bang for your buck! The employees were very sweet and very apologetic when they ran out of chocolate! 10/5 recommend!

The first thing you experience when you walk up to this store is the AMAZING smell. The store was clean and the staff was friendly and very helpful. This store offers an amazing variety and selection of salt water taffy. My wife, from North Carolina coast, says this is better than the salt water taffy made there. The other selection of candy is awesome. They even had Grape Big League Chew...i had to buy some. Personally, i had ice cream. Death by chocolate. The taste was creamy and super chocolaty. Super delicious. They also made fudge in house as well as some other sweet chocolaty desserts. The prices were on par for a beach business. I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. I had a fantastic experience here during my beach visit with my son a couple months back. A beautiful woman with green hair was extremely helpful and friendly. My kid did not want to leave 😂 I would definitely come back here and it’s worth stopping by if you’re visiting Cannon Beach. If you’re the worker my ig is @dukethedisciple 😂

I walked in thinking of buying a truffle. I walked out with a few pounds of candy and fudge and absolutely zero regrets. Salt water taffy from my dreams and every jelly bean flavor you could want. Delicious, especially when paired with a Cannon Beach sunset.

Everything SUGAR!! Whether you want a classic candy, fudge, ice cream, taffy, or caramel corn, Schwietert's is the place to get it. The enticing aromas of waffle cones will draw you from blocks away. Don't take the children or grandchildren... they will want it all!!! We got the moosetracks ice cream. Delicious!!!

They also have homemade fudge. Plus over 20 I’ve cream flavors, dozens of taffy flavors and enough candy to rot out all of your teeth!

Insane selection of candy, taffy, jelly beans, fudge, gourmet chocolate and ice cream. Soooo many flavors and choices. Reasonable prices.

We stopped in to grab some ice cream before going back to our hotel. Lots of fun flavors, especially the fruity poppin rocks! Huckleberry heaven and Maui Wowi were among our top favorites as well. The kids working at the ice cream counter were friendly and knowledgeable.

Great place to stop by and get some sweets. When in Cannon Beach, stop by and check it out. Simple place to satisfy that sweet tooth.

Has a variety of treats available. Staff was friendly. We had ice cream. It was creamy and tasty. There are benches on the porch. Free parking on the street or in a nearby lot. Whole area can be busy on summer weekends.

Some of the best ice cream I've ever had, hands down! Not to mention a huge selection of candy. A place worth a visit, and a snack, for sure!

The selection of taffy here is insane. So many flavors! The gentleman working was so kind and nice! He was standing by to answer any questions. A must stop candy shop if you want some yummy taffy of some ice cream.

After my lunch from across the street and then my walk down to the beach I decided to get an ice cream before driving back to Portland. The ice cream was delish and a perfect treat while driving.
