Riverside Fish n' Chips

A great food truck in Nehalem that is located next to the river in a food truck court atmosphere. These fish & chips were excellent! My favorite batter, and not greasy! My friend had the fish tacos that were excellent as well!

This place has the best fish and chips. Fish is tender and fresh. Fries are crispy. Tarter sauce has good flavor. My family comes here every time we are in the area. Service was fast although we were before the lunch rush.

Totally yummy fish and chips. Those really good kind of twice fried fries, good coleslaw with a cranberry kick and good juicy lemon. Highly recommend!

Great cod fish and chips here! I love the extra crispy fries they make here. They are also very friendly, and fast with your order.
This cart (and the couple more in this pod) is kinda hidden from the main road so you won’t see them, and the signs on the main road go by quickly, so just park anywhere along the main road and walk. Everything is so close in this area of town that nothing is more than 2 blocks.

Cant beat it here. Amazing coleslaw, fish and chips. Jana kills it in that kitchen, lots of love put in the food here. Entirely worth it, a must stop in Nehalem!

Probably the best coleslaw I've ever had. SOOOOOOO good. Lots of outdoor seating, dog friendly & a little spot that over looks the the bay. I would highly recommend this spot. Also a few different beers & wines to choose from. I will absolutely be back next time we are in town.

VERY DELICIOUS fish and chips with fast and friendly service in a lovely waterfront location! I went 30 minutes before closing on a Tuesday evening (5pm) and they had many tables they were serving. Every staff member in that food truck were incredibly pleasant despite the hustle they had due to the demand before close. There were ample spots to sit and eat and the seating areas were all very clean! The fish was delightful! Thick filets fried perfectly! I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back! So good to see they have a wheelchair access as well. Very cute and right on the waterfront (you could kayak in)!

Friendly service and tasty fish and chips at a reasonable price. The fries were particularly tasty and crisp. The fish was light and tasty. The clieslaw was crisp and slightly sweet, lightly dressed with the addition of craisins that added to the medley.

Cans of beer and wine available.

Tucked in behind the main street buildings with a little passageway or come from the parking lot across from the 101 intersection.

Fast service and a beautiful view on the river.

Completely phenomenal dish. Very friendly staff. Had a three piece and my daughter had a two piece. Wonderful tasting fish, had a very nice lightly flaky batter. Tartar sauce was a 10. Coleslaw was a 10. The day was sunny and perfect. Will be back whenever we camp at Nehalem Bay again. Thanks guys!

I have camped in Nehalem since I was a kid, but I don't remember this place. I stopped on my way through today and wasn't disappointed. The fish wasn't over battered or greasy. Flaky and tasty. The dried cranberries added a nice spin to the slaw. My only complaint is that the fries were battered. I'm just not a fan of battered fries. They were cooked and seasoned well, just not for me. A must stop if you're in the area.

Google said you have arrived at your destination! I parked my car and walked up and then down the street and saw the sign for Riverside fish and chips. Follow the fish the sign says. Down a boardwalk between 2 buildings and there's the food trailer.
Service was quick and friendly. I got mine to go back to my hotel room. Fish tacos were fantastic and the cold slaw was outstanding. Fabulous food. Thanks for serving the community. Yum!

Excellent off the street hidden Gem! Fish n' hips was amazing! We had a very are order for 15 people and only took around 15 or so minutes!

All in our party we very happy with what we got, fish n chips and the grilled cheese. Stop here it won't disappoint!

Fish tacos were great! Fish & Chips live up to the hype and the homemade tartar and slaw were superb. Will definitely stop here again when we camp nearby.

Holy deliciousness!!! The large pieces of fish and seasoned chips are AMAZING. Staff is friendly as well. Very lightly battered cod served with Portland ketchup. Crispy outside and tender inside. I normally don’t enjoy the heaviness and oil of fish and chips, but this was absolutely sublime. The fries were outstanding as well.

Our favorite fish-and-chips spot on this part of the coast. Fresh, battered cod is their stock in trade. There are a couple of other items on the menu if someone in the party doesn't like fish and chips, but the cod is why you want to come here. Crispy, moist, flaky, and delicious, the only question is whether to order a two piece or a three piece dish.

The location is stunning: right on the banks of the Nehalem River. The views are breathtaking, as is the wildlife. We regularly see bald eagles and great blue herons gliding up and down the waterway, and in the summer it's common to see groups of kayakers or boaters enjoying the river.

Which leads to the risky part of dining here: because most of the seating is outside on picnic tables, it's not the driest choice on a rainy day. There are covered tables, some near the river with umbrellas and others on a covered patio.

Small food cart tucked away down an alley that opens up into a grassy lawn with covered seating right next to the river. Seasoned fries are delicious, fish is Alaska flash frozen, soft and flaky. Tartar was delicious! The coleslaw is tasty, on the sweet side. Fun little spot for a bite.

Yummy fish and chips - the fish is so flaky and served with just the right amount of fries. I think I last came during a rush before close so service was a bit slow then. I saw they took call-in orders so it may be worth it to call ahead before heading over to save yourself some waiting time. The food is worth it though!

Great spot for fish and chips by the river on a sunny day! The tables were nice, and the surroundings are beautiful with lilies and the river. The fries and the fish were delicious, and not expensive. The workers were very nice, we waited less than 10min for out food.
