Dinner here was fantastic. The clam chowder was amazing, it warmed up the soul especially on a windy, rainy day. New England clam chowder with silky, potatoes were tender with lots of clam bits in every bite. It was tasty and seasoned well.We also had the five piece cod and fries. It was cooked to perfection with a light crispy batter and tender flaky fish, Their burger was also good and the kids shared a pasta Alfredo which was also delicious. Our server was really lovely and made sure to come around often.
Dinner time there was pretty busy.
Great place and if I visit Oregon again I will be back here.

Wonderful service, loved sitting on their pet-friendly patio by the fire pit. No wait when we got there. The hummus plate was good. I enjoyed my loganberry cider. Prices were in line with Cannon Beach.

Our server Alan was incredible. My friend and I both have food allergies and he was knowledgeable and diligent about keeping us both safe and informed so we could make our selections. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and had a great sense of humor to boot.

My only feedback about the food is there are not many menu options for vegans. It would be nice to see a Beyond or Impossible patty instead of a Garden Burger (they contain eggs).
I opted for a hummus plate and fries which were both very good so it worked out for lunch.

Alan was a very attentive server and provided excellent honest recommendations. The fettuccine adding prawns was perfect for me. Fettuccine was tasty as expected and the prawns had a wonderful flavor. The steamed clams were good, not rich though. Clam chowder was excellent. We plan to go back next time we're in town. I recommend the Butter JaM Chardonnay with this meal, very good.

We were a large party and made reservations. We arrived early and they got us right in. The service was excellent and our server, Brian was kind and professional. The staff was attentive and always came by to check on our party and make sure our drinks were full. We have Gluten allergies in our party and they were able to accommodate for each of them. The food was fresh and very favorable. I recommend this restaurant to anyone going to Cannon Beach.

Came here for dinner on my first visit to Cannon Beach. Ate alone at the bar - the service and meal was fantastic! Had the dungeness crab cocktail and the driftwood halibut. Pricy but an incredible meal and very nice staff. Fully recommend and will be back!

This place was amazing and we are glad we celebrated my wife's birthday here. Even thou we got seated 30 minutes after our reservation time, they gave us a free appetizer as we sat down and they allowed us to bring a cake. They took the cake to the back area and brought it out after our meal and put some candles on it for us. The drinks and food were amazing. Definitely recommend them for your next celebration and we will be returning on our next trip to Cannon Beach.

First off, staff WAS AMAZING! I wish I remembered the server’s name but it’s really hard to come across such a nice person!
Both the clam chowder and fish tacos were delicious and hot, straight out of the kitchen. Service staff was very quick! They have also accommodated my dog! Patio was really nice (although bit cold and rainy).
I really loved the food and if not the fact I live in another state, I would be a frequent guest!

My husband and I really enjoyed our meal. The oyster shooters were fresh and the fish was tasty! Our entire meal was scrumptious 😄Great atmosphere! 🩷Kelly our waitress was fantastic, friendly and warm. Make the time to go have a meal here, you will not be disappointed. Remember to make reservations because it is really that good!

Great food and great service! I don't think I've ever had a better bowl of clam chowder! It was served piping hot, with nice chunks of potato and BIG pieces of clam! I should have taken an order to go so I can eat it at home. My husband had the Chicken Fried Steak Special. This is something we never order, but it was worth the gamble. Tender steak, crispy coating, yummy gravy and homemade mashed potatoes. They brew their own iced tea and make their own chunky bleu cheese dressing. Our server, Cris, was friendly and attentive. We'll be back!

I can see why the Driftwood Restaurant has been around since 1944, the food is absolutely delicious. Love the old school atmosphere of the place with all the neat stuff inside the glass enclosed shelves.

I tried the tempura shrimp which were large and very tasty; not greasy at all.
Whenever I go to the coast, I always look for a place with clam chowder to see how it compares to other establishments.
Driftwood’s chowder is some of the BEST I’ve had in years. It’s the nice thick kind (unlike Mo’s which has a more watery consistency) with large clams and bits of bacon.
There’s an outdoor patio that faces Hemlock Street so you can enjoy watching people and smelling the nice salt air as you enjoy some of the best food Cannon Beach as to offer.

Was recommended by a dog owner and it didn't disappoint. Had the ribeye & tempura prawns with green salad / baked potato. It was all excellently prepared and tasted delicious! The service was expedient and pleasant. I thought the cost was quite reasonable for an excellent meal.

Pays to make a reservation. We called earlier in the afternoon and got a 6:30 reservation. We got there right behind a walk in group and they had a 45 minute wait. We were seated as soon as we arrived at 6:30. The food was well prepared and hot. Our server was friendly and efficient. The pumpkin display was an added highlight!

Server was great, he was working a busy bar and making sure to focus on us! He made sure to check in on us to make sure we have everything we that we needed. Food was really good too! They have premium more expensive options but also more affordable options too.

This restaurant is absolutely outstanding in every way! We came here on a weeknight for me and my mom's birthday. The service was fantastic, attentive but not overwhelming. Every single food item (clam chowder, crab casserole, onion rings, halibut, and desserts) was far above average. My mom & I both agreed that it was the best restaurant meal we could remember, ever. The portions are HUGE. At first we were hesitant about the prices, but every single food item is more than a meal. The amount of crab in my crab casserole alone would have cost me more to buy on its own than the dinner cost. Outstanding, if I could rate it higher I would! Also, the ambiance is fantastic. We'll be back here, even though it's three hours from home!

Even though the restaurant was quite busy, the service was exceptional. The food was great. We were a party of 6 so we had a wide variety of dishes and they were all excellent. I can't really call this bad but, the only problem I had with the whole experience was the margarita I ordered. There was so much tequila in it that it was all I could taste. That being said, our server Brian gladly took it and got it fixed immediately. The replacement was delicious.

The clam chowder, and Spanish coffees were top notch! The chowder was absolutely delicious and bacon free. The servers were wonderful and the atmosphere was cozy. I will be back for sure!

Dungeness crab roll salad was very tasty and side was salad. This was a busy restaurant with pumpkin carving contest during the Halloween. Waitress was very friendly and helpful.

Came here on a weekday during lunch, only had a small wait. There's plenty of public parking within walking distance. We had the crab salad and a fish sandwich (which wasn't on the menu but they were more than happy to make it). The service was good and timely, the food was delicious and had a good selection of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks.
Overall very much enjoyed the experience, would recommend.
