Great Rock Church

This place has really helped me. A year ago I was lost, I denied Jesus and mocked people who praised him. I was in a vehicle accident that should have killed me and definitely paralyzed me. I don’t know exactly how it happened but I felt that GOD saved my life. I started going last summer and I really enjoy going every week. I bought a study bible to more in depth teach me. Pastor Matt is as real as it gets, he shares his past sins and really makes you realize that we are all sinners, he’s very humble, comical in a good sense and makes me laugh because he walks the same journey we all do. I love the services, I’ve been to Bible study, pastor Matt’s message has helped me take responsibility for my actions and now my daughter is in child’s ministry and I’m taking my grandmother next week. Soon I hope to bring more people. This church is very Bible oriented. I was raised catholic but great rock church brought me to Jesus and now I can say with my heart I am saved. “Through his wounds we are healed” my favorite bible verse Isaiah 53:4-5

This Bible based church is honestly the best around! It does get busy on Sunday, but how wonderful is that! My husband and I have been members of this great church since 2014, and it keeps getting better and better! If you're from the area, or even if you're not, you will love Pastor Matt's personality and the way he explains the Bible! If you and/or your family are looking for an AWESOME place to worship, please join us. You definitely will not regret it!

We have been going to great rock church for over 13 years. Nothing but solid biblical teachings from the pulpit. They have a ministry for every age group from babies all the way to senior saints. Just like the book of Acts they have conduct ministry everyday at church in peoples homes. men’s Bible study in the morning to kids ministry to youth ministry young adult ministries to seniors. Ladies get together for fellowship and teaching You will be shown the true ways of God in the teaching and fellowship and passion for Jesus from the leadership and everyone that walks through the doors. You’ll be blessed if you come out to GRC.

I'm home. The magical moments are hard to describe in words but let me tell you that Jesus is ever present. I just recently was introduced by Joe Camerario, he was sent to help guide me. See I know God works through others... When I listened to Pastor Matt for the first time... I just couldn't do anything but cry because I could feel it. Pastor Matt is so much closer to God... I have found salvation and my savior in Jesus Christ. I sing it proud and I sing it loud ✝🙏❤🙏

Great rock stands on solid Bible teaching. If you want to know Jesus there is no better church on the north shore to know and find God.

Impossible not feel God's presence in this place. Through worship, fellowship the word and the way they serve and care. Pr.Matt preachers the gospel as Jesus says loving one another but also led us to Christ through leaving our old sinful ways and follow The God almighty creative the heaven and earth, trusting in Him and “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”

What a blessing this Church and people are. I started attending services last summer and have felt at home here from the very first day. Pastor Mat is a humble, spirit-filled disciple and teacher with a great sense of humor. All the pastors, deacons and spouses makeup a selfless team of dedicated servants of God. I haven't been so excited about going to church in a long time.

Great Community. Solid Biblical Teaching. I have been going for over two years now and have nothing but positive things to say about GRC.

Been going to GRC since 2013 or so, when it was still called Calvary Chapel North Shore. Pastor Mat Nadworny teaches through the Bible, "speaking the truth in love," as we are commanded in Scripture. He does not compromise what the Bible says. His heart is to see us "transformed into the image of Christ." Staff and congregation are one of the most loving I've ever known in over 45 years as a believer in Christ. For a while, I travelled over 70 miles each way to come here, until I moved closer. WELL WORTH THE TRIP!!

I just went to the 9am service and was blown away! First everyone is very friendly and welcoming, pastor Matt was awesome speaks the truth word of god!! Jesus is the rock of this church!! I've found my new home!! Sorry but anyone writing negative comments about this church are not of God! I've read the few and are absolute trolls!!!

Love this church I started watching online and got the chance to actually come in person this past Sunday for 11 o’clock mass the church community is so warm and welcoming the church is beautiful we got to watch a sermon by pastor Marcus which was amazing we also love to watch pastor Matt’s services a lot to love about this church❤

I have only been a few times but I love it. I feel so comfortable there and truly enjoy it. Sundays are tough as I like to pick up hours at work but I love Wednesday nights

I stopped in Great Rock Church to speak to Pastor Matt about their Men's program but he had just stepped out. I was able to speak to 2 really nice men who took the time to speak with me. Great Rock Church's Men's Program helps men in our community who have lost their way for various reasons. The program is 6 months long and very structured. Participants start off their mornings with Bible Study before starting work. The men work for the Church's Construction Company or chopping wood, which Great Rock sells. All monies earned go to the church to help pay the costs of their programs. The men will graduate in 6 months with construction experience and receive help securing a job and housing.

I think this is an incredible thing Great Rock Church is doing. There are no other programs around like this but there is tremendous need. I have spoken to 3 graduates, all of whom praise the program and what it has done for their lives so I know it is a success. I am very impressed with Great Rock Church and all who work there.

I have never felt so warm and welcome as I do a great Rock Church. It is an amazing place to debrief from the world and renew the Spirit within.
It is evident that the pastor's, their wives, the deacon and prayer counselors are solid warriors for Jesus. This church, Jesus's church, is the place to be if you want to be Spirit led, Bible fed.

This is an incredible program that helps so many people get back on track and lead full and meaningful lives. We used them recently for a project at my home and couldn't have been more satisfied. I would highly recommend Great Rock Church.
