The owner is a great guy who’s down to earth and very friendly, he treats everyone like family and it shows with all the loyal repeat customers. Place is always packed so I highly suggest making reservations in advance.

Got here right when they opened on a Monday afternoon at 4, plenty of seats available at that time in the restaurant. Really nice ambiance. The food was great and very good portions as well

Very nice place to get outstanding, authentic Italian food. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Bring your appetite because they give you big portions.

Visited Caffe Italia with friends that frequent the restaurant. Greeted by a smiling and friendly host. Vinny was our waiter host was friendly and helpful, while letting our party have time to socialize. We had a fantastic scallop appetizer, the amaretto sauce was outstanding. I had the tuna and my wife had the halibut special, both we excellent.
Good service and great food, we will be visiting Caffe Italia again.

Great place for nice Italian food, one of the best I have been too. Not a very large restaurant but very comfortable and not overcrowded. Service staff was outstanding. Definitely going back with friends again.

Having lived in Wakefield for years I had never been to this restaurant. Visiting back here in the area I decided to have dinner with my son and his wife. It was the best dinner we had in a long time. I will aways come back every time I'm in the area.

Came for a christening party . All I can say is …. Wow . Unbelievable . The service , the amazing food , the atmosphere, the hospitality, I can’t say enough for such a beautiful event . Everyone was impressed with everything . EMILIA and ANTONINA , and help were so perfect and professional and out of this world so amazing ! Talking about service . Nothing but the best ! My wife and I had been wanting to try This place for a long time we happened to be in the area and were completely surprised with how great everything was. It is Now in our normal rotation we're lucky to live so close to this place. The food was excellent and the Martini's were Vantastic

We had dinner for 10 last night and we were treated as royals. Our waitress Kerri was amazing and catered to our every need. The appetizers were outstanding as well as the entree's. Great place to gather with friends! Highly recommend.

Never had a bad meal here and the service has always been great. Gio in the dining room has always taken great care of my wife and I. Braised beef short ribs are amazing and the scallops appetizer is our favorite. They make a great espresso martini and have a nice selection of wine. Prices are great for the quality of the food and aren’t reflective of being in Boston when we aren’t!

We went to Cafe Italia for my husband's birthday on a recommendation. It was a bit difficult to find parking but our table was ready for the time reserved. The restaurant was crowded but someone came over and poured water quickly. Our waiter came a short time later. He seemed to be the only waiter in our area but he handled the tables well. He remembered everything we ordered without writing it down. The meal was well spaced, we were not rushed yet we did not feel like we had to wait for our food. We had the calamari as an appetizer and it was fantastic, very tender. Both our entrees were well prepared and served piping hot. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. We will certainly be going back again.

I wish they had more than 5 stars to rate. I held my daughters wedding/ reception for a party of 32 in the upstairs and everything was perfect! The staff really went above and beyond!! Elegant yet quaint and the food was amazing! I HIGHLY recommend!

first time at Caffe Italia; our Wakefield friends love it and know we know why. i love lamb and found the rack of lamb extremely tasty. my wife also greatly enjoyed her haddock florentine. reasonably priced, plenty of food, and a nice atmosphere -- not at all stuffy but not too noisy either.

Best Caesar salad, great martinis, ample portions, friendly staff. Been going for several years, only slightly disappointed once with the lamb lolly pops. Everything else has been very good or better.
