The Coffee Factory

The coffee factory is the spot to grab caffeine in town. I have been a few times now and I always fine the atmosphere charming, and the staff kind. I spilled coffee twice in a row on my last visit and they kindly helped pick up the mess.

Lattes are great , good espresso to milk balance .

I wish more coffee shops had great booths like this one!

You know a coffee shop is great when they’re absolutely packed mid-morning on a Monday! I’ve visited the Coffee Factory a few times now and ordered an array of hot and iced coffees as well as some small food items. The baristas are always quick and friendly and the coffee has always been delicious. I like the cozy, light atmosphere, although some of the tables are squeezed pretty close together, which isn’t all that out of the ordinary for a coffee shop. They do have quite a bit of seating, although they’re always pretty busy. Parking can be tough during the busy times of day, but we’re usually able to find something along one of the side streets close by. I definitely recommend popping by for some great coffee if you’re wandering around downtown Newburyport!

In all fairness I can understand the bad reviews for service as the service here could be a little better.

A welcoming smile goes a long way for the joint that serves coffee 😃.

I’ve found the service may need some tweaking but the pandemic has us all in a rut so it’s ok as long as you do your job.

And these guys get the job done. They may have been slow with your sandwich before…….. Not now.

I ordered the greenhouse which is pictured in review and I must say I dug the portion and In inflationary times I appreciated the price.

Total came to like 7 and some change I believe.

I came back on my lunch break for a cucumber deluxe there would be pictures of that beauty but I was too hungry and that thing got devoured….price tag was about 9bucks.

Beats Dunkin or Starbucks any day of the week.

Tasty coffee and pastries! And lovely indoor/outdoor seating area as well. I especially love the chocolate croissants here, so flakey and delicious. As for lunch food, the pesto chicken sandwich is bomb, and their six grain bread is wow.

Super nice people, coffee was pretty good, and the atmosphere was nice. Wish I had time to stick around for the Reese’s cookies. The local art is a nice touch too!

The spinach and cheese croissant was delicious and the tea was hot for great taste. We got a table to sit at and had a great time talking. Would definitely go there again!

Love the breakfast sandwiches and fresh brew. Wonderful atmosphere. Owner lets local artist hang and sell their art so always new and interesting paintings to see when you stop in for coffee.

Loved the atmosphere of this quaint coffee shop. It's a great place to come if you're looking for a place to study, or relax with some friends. The coffee was very fresh, and made with care by the baristas. Plenty of seating as well if you have a larger party. We didn't get to order food however their lunches looked great!

Good cappuccino. That alone is worth 5 stars since dang near every cafe I go to can't do it right.

Beyond that, food is good and simple, but I've had my order wrong a few times. Never a big enough deal to be a problem though.

Wait times can be a bit rough if you order food, and seating can be a pain due to all the people working remotely in their booths.

One of the best coffee shops I’ve ever been to. If you like Goat / fontina cheese the grilled cheese is a MUST try.

Needed coffee, this was always going to be better than the Starbucks down the road. It was. Well roasted beans, good extraction. Served hot.

Their mudslide coffee is delicious! I would definitely come back, their menu looked delicious.

Made a REALLY good vanilla latte with oat milk and cinnamon. Very nice staff.

I ordered the frozen coffee, and it was delicious. Clean, efficient service, plenty of seating inside, some outdoor seating.
