Great Prices. Friendly Staff. Well Stocked Store. This is By Far the Best Value for your Dollar in Gloucester. Definitely worth the trip every time.

This place is amazing. I have been looking for Zevia soda up here which is usually pretty expensive. Not even Common Crow had it and I spent $240 at that place just buying a couple things. At Market Basket I bought groceries for two weeks AND 13 six packs of Zevia and spent $170. Great selection all around.

Market Basket is definitely by far the best supermarket around. I save so much money shopping with them. Went in for milk but armed myself with bags because bargains always catch my eye. This week (March 3rd) the Corned beef Brisket was being loss led at 3.99 /lb! I bought three to put in the freezer as that is a savings of $4/lb! Bacon. Also on a manager's special... Snagged a bundled 3 pack, 12oz each for only $4.99! Well worth a visit every time!

Great selection, and I love how this place is organized. Every shelf was stocked, and the prices are very comparable to all the other stores.

In my opinion, best grocery store in town. Has a great selection of items, and the prices are by far the best. In many cases, every day prices are nearly 50% if not more, cheaper than most any place in town. Staff is friendly and they always get you through checkout quickly. Best yet, the staff have been well trained on service dog etiquette which is extremely appreciated!

Still the best stocked supermarket in Gloucester. The downside is that it is the busiest as well so if you can go early in the morning or around 3 in the afternoon, it is less busy. Great bakery and prepared foods section, as well as made to order station serving sandwiches, pizza, wings and more. Staff are consistently friendly and helpful.

MB is a treasure. It's a beautiful store. Top Maintained and mostly all pleasant staff and willing to help you. Good @ restocking Items in timely manner. Super clean not smelly like others I have been to. Gloucester Staff are smart and courteous 🙂

I love this Market Basket. It's clean and usually well stocked. Check out is quick even though there are lines. I enjoy shopping at this location!

Came in the other day and had a question and I asked the young man and he was very helpful and polite. Most employees seem bothered to be asked for help but Cullin was patient and helpful.

Always fresh veggies and fruit the meat selection is Great. All of market basket employees are helpful with a smile , that smile goes along ways and making customers welcomed

I enjoy shopping at Market Basket. The employees are polite and friendly. I have often gone down an aisle where two or more are stocking shelves and they are singing along with the music 🎶 playing. If I need something that I can not find, they've always been more than happy to check in the store room for it. It's the best!

It's hard to get excited about a grocery store, but as far as they go, this is a great one! We're lucky to have it here on the Island. It's easy to see why the workers struck in unison for the founder. Besides the prices, I love the fact that they put plenty of boxes at the front of the store for customers to take.

Well.... they had the Seaweed Snacks that were requested by my son... so that was a plus! And they were in the strangest place,but, the customer service girl knew exactly what and where they were, which I find all the MB employees to be consistently good at. And if they don't know, they will find it with you! Great customer service and always appreciate the prices!

Market Baskets never disappoint. Good prices, especially in their own brand items. I always go there for their toilet paper, which is the old fashioned WIDE kind ;) and end up getting a ton of other stuff. Veggies really good for a supermarket. Half and half ... $1.19 for a pint is pretty unbeatable anywhere.
