I hosted my husband’s 40th surprise party here, and it was amazing. Planning the party was a breeze, and the venue was the perfect location given the barn door made for a great surprise unveiling. Myles and team were so accommodating, and they helped me plan the mixer finger food and samplers which was also very budget friendly. They were also super helpful with the set up before the party. And during the event, the wait staff were super friendly and on point throughout. Everyone at the party only had positive things to say. And the food and drinks were fantastic! Exceeded my expectations in every way. Thanks for making the vision a reality!

Nice brew selection and a very nice menu as well, including several options for non-meat eaters. The vegan chili was fabulous. I will definitely go back whenever I am in the area.

Beautiful night out on the deck with our puppies. Food came out quick, friendly, attentive servers. Menu is diverse with a few gluten-free and generally healthy options. Everything we ordered was delicious. Those tater tots were perfectly crunchy. Tried a new beer and was not disappointed.

This has been my boyfriend & I’s go to spot since we’ve moved here. A night or two out at Ipswich Ale has quickly fallen into our weekly routine. Great beer & food & even better staff. Myles & Alexis never fail to take the time to catch up with us even if they are working a busy dining area & always make for the full experience of stopping in for a night out. If sours are your jam checkout whichever they currently have in rotation— highly recommend! Definitely worth a visit or many.

Fantastic little brewery. Excellent beers and the food was really good as well. The Ipswich pilsner was one of the better pilsners I've had here. Light and refreshing and the chucktoberfest was very good too.

The harvest flatbread was savory and delicious. Service was excellent and our waitress was awesome.
5 stars!

Really good atmosphere. Indoor, outdoor seating end bar seating. Good beer selection and found a couple that we really liked. Good food choices and the staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend.

Visited twice while in the area. Ample seating at the bar as well as tables, with windows looking into the brewery. There are several house flights or you can create your own. Multiple beer selections available.

I sampled both the pilsner and the espresso stout. Both were very enjoyable. The stout was not as heavy-bodied as most, which i consider a plus.

First time in, I had the bratwurst plate, very good. Second visit, the italian fish stew and it was excellent.

I would recommend this place to anyone visiting in the area.

I honestly wish I could give more stars but the max is 5. We did not plan going to Ipswich AT ALL. We were in Salem and came across a restaurant called the Village Tavern where they had the Cranberry Beret from Ipswich Ale. My hubby is very picky when it comes to his ales, lagers etc. I honestly don't know the difference. This Ale was so delicious I even enjoyed it and I'm not a big beer person. So we drove 30 mins north just to go see the brewery and were not disappointed. The restaurant was excellent I got to try one of there wines, and Michael got to try one of their flights. We even got there in time to go on the tour! I was shocked we were the only ones on the tour. We've gone on brewery tours before but this one has got to be MY FAVORITE. Our tour guide Nate was very knowledgeable and easy going, it was definitely not like any other tour we had ever been on. I recommend this highly to anyone, make this trip it is so worth it! Also for the none beer drinkers they have soda also!

Great food, lots of vegetarian options. Good beer, tried one of the flights. Fun that you can see into the brewery from windows by the tables.

This was the first stop on our way to Portsmouth for our beer tour weekend. I was really impressed with their food selection. Lots of unique and staple options. The beet flight presentation was awesome. Wr both liked our flights with the exception of the cranberry beer. The details of this restaurant were amazing especially the door handles at the entrance. There was an ad on the wall that's breakfast for dinner one night which I would like to go to!

Couldn't leave Ipswich without toasting to 30 years of local brews at Ipswich Ale Brewery 🙌. Heads up, the Poutine, Meatball Flatbread, Photo-bombers, and space, artfully decorated with historic promotional material, is 💯👌... #SlowSippingSundays #Ipswich 👍👍👍👍

We hosted our rehearsal dinner here in June 2023 and had a great time. The food was excellent, staff was lovely, and the beer flights were perfect! Myles was absolutely wonderful to work with and so flexible and responsive. Looking forward to returning for a pint!

Such a great facility! Hop vines growing, modern industrial look, with an awesome menu in the brewpub. Beer is delicious, with plenty of variety but obviously an emphasis on hoppy beers. Been drinking their beer for a while so it’s nice to finally stop by a brick and mortar location.

The food was unreal. Came in for lunch on a snow day and had the meal of the year. The waitress was super nice and the general manager was very welcoming. Cant wait to go back.

We worked with Myles remotely to plan our Engagement Party, as we live out of town. He was extremely friendly and communicative throughout the entire process (included photos of previous parties, examples of menus, and was flexible with us on planning and budget). The party area was a great size for 40-45 people, it was private, with direct access to the bathrooms as well. The two servers Caroline and Cami were extremely patient and kind. So many guests came up to us to let us know how great they were for the party. Both the food and the beer were fantastic (Gluten Free options available). We would definitely recommend(!!) and come again.

We held our rehearsal dinner at Ipswich Ale Brewery, and we are so glad we did! Myles (Sr and Jr) were wonderful to work with and a breath of fresh air for wedding-related vendors. We visited after letting them know what we were interested in doing, and had the most wonderful experience with Myles and the staff providing samples of their food and drinks and making us feel special before we even signed on (which was not needed as Myles is a self-proclaimed ‘handshake guy’). Myles provided example menus and budgets for different sized events and worked with us to make it as easy as possible to plan without any of the excessive costs/usual BS around wedding events. The planning was easy using the provided example menus, and Myles responded quickly with detailed invoices and worked with us on changes.
The night itself was wonderful. Everyone loved the flights and the food, and the space is perfect for allowing mingling as well as spilling out into booths for more quiet chats/eating. The staff was helpful and friendly, and were accommodating for meals ordered especially for those with allergies who could not partake in the buffet.
Thank you so much! We recommend this brewery for just a lovely brewery drinking experience, delicious meal, or fun ‘formal’ events such as a rehearsal dinner!

This place from the outside doesn’t look like a restaurant but when you walk into the restaurant it’s very nice! The bar is beautiful and clean. Really cool how the windows show the process of brewing beer too!

Hosted a wedding “after party” here at the end of July. Myles and his son were both excellent at communicating and providing us with the perfect recommendations for our party size. This was all planned a week before the event so they were exceptionally accommodating given the circumstances!

We took a lot of food home
since we had fewer attendees than previously thought and the staff was very accommodating of our request for boxes. The food held up well and we ate the take always all weekend!

Great value, service, and experience all around. Thank you Myles!
