This is a time capsule retro restaurant that's actually really good. Who serves veal Oscar anymore? But it was great! Service was cheerful and attentive. We arrived early and the room filled up with locals as we ate. A great experience throughout

The phrase “Eat Greatly at the Whately” is so true. I have been coming here for over 40 years and I can honestly say it is my favorite restaurant in the Pioneer Valley. The food is superior, the staff is phenomenal and the Kloc Family has kept the feeling of elegance and home for decades.

Went there last night for a dinner and a surprise birthday for my sister..she doesn't like to be Fussed over..the hostess,and especially waitress were incredible. They took the gifts and flowers and cake to a hidden location. Brought the cake with candles on it..sang Happy birthday..then cut and served the cake with ice cream..just wonderful.
The food was just perfect..sword fish so good..haddock so good...prime rib excellent as evidenced by my husband eating it all..soup and salad all nice portions and very good..thank you for the good food and just a great experience..birthday girl was surprised and had a great time..would come back often..thank you again..kate e will

My husband and I visited for our anniversary back in early November. I ordered the veal Parmigian. It was thicker than what I'm used to and a little chewy in places but very tasty. It was a big portion so I had leftovers for lunch. Love the atmosphere with the fireplace!

Wow, New England country charm. We had a wonderful Sunday afternoon dinner. Appetizers, soup, or salad followed by a very good dinner. Vegetarian options and delicious desserts.

Stopped in for birthday dinner, it was quiet due to the snow. Liam was attentive and the veal was cooked correctly and was tender. They even brought out a candle in my dessert to acknowledge my birthday, which was a small welcome gesture that I feel many restaurants would neglect. Will come back in the future

As always, we ate Greatly at the Whateley. It is our favorite restaurant. The food and service are second to none. Everything, rolls, aperitif, appetizer, salad or soup, entree, dessert, coffee or tea or other beverage, are included in the price of the meal.

It was my husband's 70th Birthday and our small family gathered to celebrate him after his recent open heart surgery. The food and service was spectacular.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Oysters Rockefeller was to die for. Lobster bisque and the minestrone were amazing. And the seafood scampi was soooooo good. Worth every penny and I will definitely be coming back.

first time coming here for my mom's birthday, we had a party of 6. Our waitress was great and the service was quick and efficient. The food was good too, will definitely be going back!

Recently had the blackened sword fish with a cup of lobster bisque and a double order of scalloped potatoes. The meal was delicious and the lemon lush dessert to finish the meal was a great way to finish. Came in recently and had another phenomenal meal . Had the filet mignon with pan blackened scallops appetizer put together for dinner for the best surf and turf . Also had the butternut squash and a double order of the scalloped potatoes , and also had the lobster bisque and the homemade bread rolls and salad that comes with the meal.everything was fantastic and delicious . Thank you chip for the best meal and Lisa for the great service.

I took my dad here for his birthday a few weeks ago. The food is delicious and the service was absolutely amazing. She was so friendly and very attentive, as soon as we finished one course out came the other! I was very impressed. For how much food you are getting and how delicious it is, the price is totally worth it. Will certainly be making it a tradition to bring my old man here every year for his birthday!

The service, the atmosphere, the food quality, the amount you get for what you pay for - my fiancee and I thought it was all absolutely fantastic!

This Inn is a super great place to dine. Our server,Bree, was fantastic . Meals are between $40 and $50, which includes 5 courses! The ambiance is terrific. You will not go away hungry or disappointed. 5 stars for sure!! I can't wait to go back.

This was my first time at the Whately Inn, where I was giving a great turkey dinner.
Everything was delicious and eye appeals. I enjoyed coming here and going next Thanksgiving.

What a great meal! My husband and I came for our anniversary. As mentioned by others, the price and portions can't be beat. Beautiful place, with a very traditional New England food. The dinners are basically a five course meal. You ought to go hungry! All the food was superb. And came out hot, which I find can be challenging with so many parts to the meal. I had the lamb, and my husband had a pork tenderloin special. He took enough home with him for two more meals. Our server was super nice and energetic. You could tell that she was really, really busy, but always came to us with a smile on her face and took her time with us.

Just had a birthday dinner there, and it was fabulous. Server was awesome and the environment was warm and festive.

We had a party of 11, food was great service was great and everyone had a great time.

Comfortable, inviting & an awesome menu. Food was amazing, great Chef! Comparable to the best NYC restaurants we've been to.
Our waitress, Taylor , very attentive,& knowledgeable . Absolutely would recommend Prime Rib Oscar(prime rib with lobster meat & asparagus).

We had a wonderful dinner sitting out on the porch with Melissa as our server. She is a fantastic server as I am in the business myself. She was very attentive and pleasant. We all enjoyed our drinks and dinners. Piping hot, just the way I like my food!! We all enjoyed our pleasant fall afternoon with the beautiful colorful mountain views. Keep doing what you do best!!
