Walmart Pharmacy

I've been very pleasantly surprised by this pharmacy. The staff and pharmacist are friendly, I never wait long, and the text service is actually helpful. So far, best pharmacy I've experienced from big business.

Transferred my prescription here since my original pharmacy ran out of my pills. They were quick and easy to deal with. Was able to pick up my prescription the same day. The pharmacist and the lady who helped were also amazingly nice. Definitely prefer this over Costco Pharmacy on Jenkins.

Hands down the BEST pharmacy in town! Emily the Pharmacist is amazing. She takes the time to get to know her regulars! Will answer and and all questions with kindness no matter how busy she is! Starla the pharmacy tech, is equally as amazing and kind! I have moved my entire family that is not a Kaiser member!

Polite staff, helped us get our prescriptions transferred. Also seems like awesome vibe - you can see little mini figures of all of the teammates in the area behind the tellers, super cute.

Some of the nicest pharmacists you will ever meet! Very good service and will go out of their way for you.

Edit: as much as I have been frustrated with the pharmacy in the past...I am starting to see a couple of factors particular to my situation that are making it difficult for the pharmacy, too. The more I speak with the pharmacy assistants, the clearer it becomes that everyone is trying their best. (Not that I ever would've blamed them. I'm aware, though, that customer dissatisfaction tends to unjustly fall on them. If anyone even read this fn essay 😭)

I'm thankful for the people here that have put up with my unusual situation. My medication is currently out of stock everywhere. This is the only pharmacy that has had any, out of the dozen I've tried to work with. They've been quicker recently, too.. Mostly I just appreciate what they've done for me. Thanks 💕 /end

Uhh...I'm pretty mixed here. This wouldn't be the first place I'd recommend. I've had mixed experiences with pharmacies in general, and this one ranks pretty low. My ultimate issue is the lack of stock, apparently due to the lack of foresight employed by those managing this operation.

I have relatively consistent, critical prescriptions for fairly standard medications. I have been filling them at this pharmacy for a few months. I totally understand a delay for new products; I don't expect the pharmacy to have every formulation of every substance on hand. However, I have regularly had problems filling my routine prescriptions here. Pickup is delayed by several days about 50% of the time; one or more of the medications will have to be ordered.

It's not that they HAVE been ordered, it's that they WILL be ordered. Bear in mind, I call a day or two after my doctor submits them. So...the products I use aren't being ordered in advance of my regularly scheduled prescriptions, and they aren't being ordered upon receipt of my prescription. The medications (sometimes those requested WEEKLY) are sitting out of stock, waiting for me to call. It's kinda absurd.

I understand that there are space limits and insufficient staffing. There are mistakes, and there are blockages in the system that are out of our control. This might even be beyond the staff's ability to solve. One way or another, though, there's something wrong with operations here. I need my prescriptions, and I'm on a tight schedule. (Like everyone else; I'm not unique in these regards.) Maybe this is normal, but it hasn't been my experience elsewhere.

Other than that, it's all good. They fill my prescriptions on time without my intervention, as long as they're in stock (although I still call them days in advance at this point). The staff are super nice, and the pharmacists are helpful, even though they're seemingly overworked. I appreciate the work that's done to get everyone what they need. I'm hopeful that maybe things will start to improve. Thanks for reading my book. :)
