Restaurant at an Indian bazaar. If you go any day most of the customers are Indian or Asian. The food is delicious, menu is long, they sell typical Indian dishes and desserts and offer regular specials. They only have counter service that is prompt and helpful. There are many tables and chairs to eat the delicacies. Cost is reasonable. I wish they were located closer to my home. I would visit them more often.

This place is huge and wonderful. All manner of Indian spices, groceries, and other gifts/goods, as well as yummy hot food for lunch and dinner (eat in, takeout, deliver).

I keep going back to this store for their delicious hot Indian food! It is authentic and the portion size of their biryani is huge! There are a variety of Indian pastries as well.

Visiting Portland for Thanksgiving was really tiring until we found this place 🤤. It's a treat for Indian food lovers.
Although the waiting time is high (it's quite understood looking at the crowd and with delicious menu) the grocery store attached inside helps use the time productively 😀
The chicken biryani was freshly cooked and the dosa served hot. Indeed we can see the chef making dosa behind the counter which assures the hygiene.
Variety of sweets available at the counter in display. Malai mango cake is an exclusive amongst.
Definitely will visit whenever I'm at Portland.

Best Indian in pdx, period. Butter chicken so good you wonder if you’ve ever actually had butter chicken before or if your whole life has been a lie. The cheese dosa is a beautiful merger between Indian dosa culture and American melted cheese culture. Biryanis overflowing, itself alone enough to feed a family of 5. Worth driving to the outer burbs every time.

Large and well organized Indian store. This is probably one of the very few Indian grocery stores that’s put time and effort in neatly organizing everything from frozen to fresh produce.

They also have a restaurant inside the same building so, it makes it easier to just shop while you wait for food

If you didn't grow up with Indian culture around you & you've got only a little experience making Indian food, here's the bare minimum I'd suggest to make your first taste good: pick up a couple jarred chutneys, green Cardomom & Whole Cumin, and a bag of Basmati.
Apna Bazaar has all those items AND delicious prepared food. Time your trip with your lunchtime. 😋

Their culture, the smells, the patrons in authentic garb, and my favorite thing is the selection of goods only found here. Curry leaves, compounded asafoetida, whole black cardamom, the whole grains, and we learn something every time we go in. I worked in restaurants for 10 years and I cook all my meals. We are plant based and feel at home shopping here. They have the coolest cooking gadgets!!! Prices are fair and reasonable as well.

Love the food court. I had ordered the Hyderabadi biriyani (half plate) and it was incredibly delicious and for 8 $ it was a decent amount. They had all the basic Indian spices. Although, the grocery section was limited but I enjoyed the overall experience. All the various Indian spices and noodles reminded me of home. I would highly recommend checking this place out, especially for new comers to the US (me being one).

It just comes across as a Walmart of Indian shopping! It has gobbs of my favorite incense. Many products, food, curios, and the restaurant looks nice, although didn't try it but will soon. The dessert display looked delicious. Very nice store. It's facing the street in an office building. One line of parking in front of it. One Disabled parking spot.

Good place to find all things Indian. Fresh, produce, grains, Pooja items, cosmetics, frozen, ready to eat, snacks, and a separate section for organic foods. The employees are doing a good job during pandemic times keeping it safe and open. I appreciate the drive up option for shopping.
