Walmart Neighborhood Market

Shopping at the Cornell store in Beaverton is a joy… Largely in part due to the excellent customer service of the front checkout associate named Corrie. Literally greets people as they move into the checkouts… Always smiling and courteous. This woman is a gem and I hope the store manager realizes this.. Customer service is key and Corrie exemplifies this in aces🎉🎉🎉

We were looking for veggies, milk, yogurt, hash browns, bread and other basic groceries which we found easily. The shelves are well stocked. The store is not huge like the regular Walmarts which makes it a much shorter trip!

Staff are always nice and helpful. A little busy today (Saturday around noon), but easy to get in and out.
1.18.23 The store still looksclean and well stocked. I forgot to check the price and availability of eggs. Still looks good on 1.16.24. Always easy to get in & out quickly.

Walmart is always good for low prices. They have a pretty big gluten free section too. And they are adding more and more fresh organic fruits and veggies. Today I found a new creamer made with oafmilk, see pic. It sells for $3.98.

We were visiting our son in Portland, Oregon and shopped at a Walmart Neighborhood Market for the first time. I was impressed with the large selection of items and especially the quality of the produce. The carry Ambrosia apples that I have a hard time finding anywhere else.

Clean, stocked store. I know they are shirt staffed, but the manager had a smile on his face.

Update 7/12/23: amazing service in the pharmacy! I messed up and didn't order my dog's meds in time (long story about how vet prescription works with my particular vet) and ran out this morning. They were able to give me an emergency fill to check us for a couple of days while I get it worked out. They also set me up on free shipping which will save me tons of time.

I get prescriptions here. Great prices!

"Easy to shop and inexpensive." That is the prompt provided to me.....this store is the opposite. It is not the fault of the staff... They have always been friendly and helpful. I just feel that there needs to be more of them, especially around 3 pm on weekdays. The store gets hit hard. There are no human checkers, and depending on how well skilled one is at quickly scanning, the lines can get long fast. Maybe I'm just old-fashioned in wanting a person to ring up my purchase, me hand them cash, and then they look me in the eye and tell me to have a nice day. Walmart....please help speed up your customers' process.

It's the same as it's always been. The team is always willing to help they are considerate. There wasn't a register open they only had the self-serve stations open so I asked the lady about one with a cashier. She politely had one of team members open a register because I had cart with a lot of groceries. I love my Walmart stores. They're are very clean and the team member's are there always to help you with anything you need. I have been to 4 States besides here in my own state of Oregon and I have no complaints about any of them.

Nice store with plenty of Disabled parking. Picked up order and nice pleasant experience. Pick up spaces in left side of store. Only 4 spaces do must not be too busy. Turn left it right or go straight, but turn rat next right and you get the entrance. It's my home store now.

Excellent customer service. I want to thank Corey who works in the front greeting and assisting customers with all needs. She is a wonderful friendly, kind angel, who brightens my day each time I see her. She is great and makes the shopping experience so lovely. Thank you all staff of Walmart market, especially Corey.

The staff is easily accessible and always go above and beyond to help me. I'm ultra impressed with their customer service. The only negative is that it is almost completely self-checkout, so lines can get backlogged because there's not an employee ringing your order up.

They have great selections and great prices.

I’m very impressed with this store. I was surprised at the number of employees around the store. Being new to the store I asked for help finding things several times from different employees. Every one of them was nice and very helpful. I usually have a smile on my face though, especially if I’m asking for help, so maybe that helps. I see another recent review slamming the employees for attitude. I’m just guessing the problem wasn’t with the employees, but maybe the way they were treated. I did notice some rude customers, but these days it’s common at any store unfortunately.

I was pleased with the quality and selection of the produce, meat and dairy departments. I found things in this store that I can’t find at Kroger (Fred Meyer) anymore. It is a much smaller store, but I found everything I had on my list and more.

There are only one or two lines with a cashier at the times I’ve been there. I figure I’ll leave that convenience to the elderly or disabled. I don’t mind a bit doing self checkout. I usually use it anyway unless I have a very full cart.

I left water in cart went home remembered oh I forgot….the staff had taken it to the front so I could pick it up,,,,nice work teams..

I don't buy everything on my grocery list here. But what I do buy cannot be beat by any other supermarket especially in price. All paper and personal hygiene products, as well as all packaged food brands, like milk, butter and quite a lot of produce can't be matched by any other store.
The staff is very accommodating, and the store is clean. It's visually and athmospherically not as attractive as other stores but the savings are tremendous for those who need to watch their budget.
Kudos also for the high quality Angus beef. I do stay away from the Tyson chicken though.
The pharmacy is amazing with quick and text notification service, and the lowest drug prices my research could produce.
To the person who complained in a review that personnel doesn't know how to package and shows a photo of lots of empty plastic bags, I say: Bring your own reusable bags; you'll help the environment.

I mean it's Walmart you're going to get what you get and get your shopping done and sometimes you get entertained with the crowd!

Unlike fred Meyers always easy parking. Always not crowded and caters to minority foods and tastes. They had an Asian, Indian, and small middle Eastern as well as Hispanic section.

My meds are always filled quickly and with care. Yazmin is amazing!

I like shopping at the Walmart!
It's conveniently located from my home and they have the lower price than other stores! 😀

It is convient, it's clean, the people working there are extremely helpful in every way, and I can get in and get out quickly and on my way home. I appreciate the new price tagging on produce; now I just scan and weigh and it's done. Thank you.
