Blue Moon Kitchen and Bar

We were apple picking nearby and accidentally ended up in this restaurant. We were certainly not disappointed. Great location, amazing outdoor seating and the food is simply great. I ordered special (which was chicken thighs with mushroom gravy) and loved it a lot. Thank you for the great service and food.

Really exceeded my expectations, what a great place! The food was fantastic, with beautiful presentation as well. The wine pours exceedingly generous. The service was very kind and prompt, and the atmosphere has so much potential, we came on a rainy Sunday evening, but I can't wait to come back on a nicer day and take advantage of the patio.

Of the food, the bruschetta appetizer and short rib entree were my favorites. The short rib was incredibly tender and tasted as great as it looked.

The food was amazing and I love that they have seating right on the river and sounds of waterfalls. Definitely a quaint spot for you to just enjoy your surroundings & time.

This is such a hidden gem in Amesbury! The food is amazing, the service is phenomenal (Jordan is the best!) and this view! Come on! So good!
This is a must try - just hoping I can still get a seat when everyone finds out about this place!

The balsamic mac & cheese is a MUST! It's a very unconventional combination, but it works.
We came here on a recommendation from the front desk clerk at our hotel.
It's not the easiest place to find if you're from our of town, but we were determined.
We were there mid afternoon so the dining room was slow and which made service prompt. My husband enjoyed his burger as well.

One of our favorite local spots! They have a great bar & a unique outdoor area overlooking the river. Order the fried chicken sandwich - it’s SO good and the fries are amazing too!

My husband and I both had a very good dinner at Blue Moon. The drinks were very good as well. I had the pumpkin Martino and the cider sangria. We will be back 😁.

What a great little restaurant. Stopped on our way up to Maine and was NOT at all disappointed. Food was great, cocktail menu had lots of tasty looking options. There is no kids menu but they seemed accommodating enough that if we needed something off menu they could oblige. Staff was friendly, which is hard to come by these days. I hope I get to come by here again. Would be a great place for cocktails with girlfriends.

On my one year anniversary of when I decided to start food reviewing, I stumbled into Blue Moon Kitchen... Simply amazing!!! The East Dennis Oysters were superb, the Feta Garlic Shrimp is hands down the thing to order and the Korean BBQ Wings are the closest in the world to the famous Kowloon Saugus house wings!!!

could not stop saying how good it was
so find this place and you will enjoy!!!!

went in as a group of 5 and 3 more joined us later . . . we were offered a cozy and comfortable corner on the deck looking into the river descending over the rocks . . . special mention here for Heather who served us with patience and understanding . . . she took care of my special request on account of my health condition and dietary restriction too . . . . as a group our order included salmon, beef, chicken in a variety of dishes and everyone enjoyed . . the chocolate dessert without any flour in it was awesome! keep up the standard and we shall love to be back for more . . .

My family and I come here every time I visit, and I always look forward to it. The menu has a good variety without trying to do too much. Service and food have always been excellent. Recommend a visit here!

Fun and energetic atmosphere.

Some of menu is experimental and that's my favorite thing about them. The Korean BBQ wings are great!

Great place to hang out with friends and enjoy a drink and some food.

Great environment and food is delicious. We had the oysters, calamari. Perfect in everyway. Will definitely return to try the rest of the menu.

Stopped in to see friends who had come back to the neighborhood for the holidays. We just had a soda and water and a couple of quick hugs 🤶

Blue Moon is such a nice place. The atmosphere inside is great, and the view out on the deck overlooks the dam and river.

The menu is interesting and diverse but still has a vast majority of the bar and comfort food you're probably accustomed to, some with a little twist. The beer and wine selection is excellent, not to mention the variety of mixed drinks.

The staff is friendly, accommodating, and attentive; even at a time where employees are hard to come by.

Definitely my choice to grab a beer and a bite after work.

My bartender was spectacular and the Shepards pie was delicious

We had an amazing lunch here today and highly recommend Blue Moon! The food is phenomenal, views of the river from the deck are so nice, and the staff is incredible. There was a small mixup on what we ordered and they went above and beyond to take care of us. The stroganoff and pork chop are a must, we will definitely be back. Thank you to the whole team for making it such a nice day!
