Ocean View Restaurant

The food was delicious. I celebrated my daughter's 32 birthday. We all had a great time on Martha's Vineyard @The Ocean View. March 5, 2021.

Staff is very friendly and the Lobster roll is delicious! Get your wings xtra crispy with sauce on the side!

I have been going to the Ocean View for as long as I can remember (at least 30 or so years) If I'm visiting the island for a week, I'm at Ocean View at least 2 of those nights. It's kid and family friendly, the staff are great, and they really know their way around a lobster.

It was a very good restaurant, I miss it.

So this is a must visit in Oak Bluff for dinner and/or cocktails. This place has a great "local" type atmosphere that can't be beat. Dining on the left, bar and food on the right with televisions. Food is fresh and well prepared with ample portions and the cocktails are generous and well crafted. But it is the staff here that makes this place truly a gem. Every person there clearly cared that we had a good experience. Shout out to Laine (dare I say Lainey) who took the most amazing care of us. Come here.... Eat here.... Make friends here. Our server/bartender, Nancy was exceptional! Efficient and friendly. Very helpful and knowledgeable of menu items. Leading us to two delicious choices for lunch. The Fried Clam plate and the Rubin Sandwich! Rubin was one of the best I have ever had. Drinks were great! Not knowing what to order, Nancy made one of her specialty drinks for me and it was perfectly scumious! The Value, quality and pricing was perfect, also. We will be back!! Thank you, Nancy for such a fun and enjoyable experience.

This is my husband's favorite place to eat on Martha's Vineyard. We usually sit in the bar. Dinner was terrific! The lobster special was a great deal. I had a lobster roll and my brother in law had the baked stuffed lobster. We both enjoyed our meals. My husband loved the fish sandwich and my sister in law had the fish tacos, which looked great. Great drinks, friendly service. Always a great meal.

Amazing service!!!! Every Single time a member of the wait staff walked by our table they were always checking on us and asking us if we needed anything. It was the best service we’ve had in a long time. We ordered the calamari which was great and wings which left us super full… Never happens. It is also the only bar/restaurant in the area that has the NFL ticket which was the reason why we came here in the first place. It was awesome.

One of my favorite restaurants on the island. Open year round and certainly a local clientele gives me the feeling every time that I'm at the right place. The food is outstanding. Never had a bad experience there and the service is great.

The food was Sooo fresh and you couldn't create a better waitress than Leslie. Very polite and knowledgable about the menu and her patience with us was nothing less than Excellent. So if the food we were waiting for wasn't to our liking I knew at least the service from Leslie was incredible but i'd be a total liar if I didn't point out this was some of the freshest seafood I have ever had and plate after plate after plate it was one palatal explosion after the next. Outstanding end to my day.

Best Place to go to! They follow the CDC Regulations and Guidelines and serve the best Shrimp Scampi ever! I always enjoy sitting at the bar and watch the Bartenders make drinks!

Our first time here, and it was great. Leslie was a fantastic server, the food was delicious and affordable. We will definitely return!

The food I ate yesterday in particular the " clams" were overcooked. But Oceanview came through with a Delicious, seafood platter .Definitely will return to one of my favorite restaurants on the Island. The Manager was very accommodating! Thank you and my stomach says Thank you as well.

Haven't had a more consistent restaurant than this one. Good drinks. Service is on point. Nice selection of food at decent island prices. Family friendly.

We live on the Cape but go to Oak Bluffs many time during the summer and fall. Great place to watch baseball and football games. Food is very good and bartenders are great. Highly recommend.

The New York strip steak was absolutely delicious the surf and turf was excellent stuffed shrimp was to die for. Salad bar was excellent for an Island restaurant vegetables are all fresh and choice of dressing was very good highly recommend the restaurant.

On a day trip to my home town. Away from the touristy bustle of Circuit Avenue. Local contractors eat lunch here, need I say more? But I will...LOBSTER TACOS! Super friendly wait staff: Thank you, ladies!

I had an absolutely wonderful time here, drinks were tasty and they made a special order for us Pizza night when they had a sale and they did a great job !definitely coming back soon :)

My family and I are so glad to see Oceanview open for business! Been eating here for over 20 years! There's something on the menu for everyone's taste! Always delicious!

Love this place. They have lots of specials nights. Burgers are awesome! Nice pub with huge fireplace. Great food at reasonable prices
