The cutest little restaurant! The atmosphere was delightful as well as the staff. I had the vegan mushroom & Gouda tart and it was amazing, 10/10 recommend. I also had the vegan crab-cakes which were delicious! And the vegan cake was absolutely scrumptious. I definitely recommend this place!

We made a reservation weeks in advance to make sure we got in, and I'm so glad we did. Everyone that worked there was so friendly, and the decor is so cute. While all the food and drinks were delicious, the vegan crab cakes were absolutely incredible! Highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

What an all around wonderful dinner experience! My friend and I arrived early on a cold fall day and were welcomed into a warm and cozy atmosphere with very personal attention. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious from the margarita mock-tail to the edamame dumpling special and the Gruyère asparagus tart. My friend was just as thrilled with her polenta and mushroom stack. We enjoyed every single bite and will certainly be back. Highly recommended.

Visited here for dinner a few days ago, and absolutely loved it. More details below, but first, a quick summary. Drinks are all excellent. Food is very well cooked and all worth what they charge. Some dishes feel a little held back by the dedication to vegan ingredients.

General thoughts:
- Service was very attentive; I drink a ton of water and almost never had an empty glass, despite the small cups here.
- Minor thing, but very important to me - the straws are waxed paper. They don't pollute like the plastic ones, and they don't stick to your lips and feel gross like the cheap paper ones. Super happy with these, please never change them.

A little more granular, dish by dish - starting with drinks:
- the Georgia On My Mind is my favorite drink here or anywhere on the island. It's very well balanced, and the pecan syrup gives it some delicious complexity. Will order this every time I come here.
- the Yankee Swap is also very good, with great ube flavor that is strong, but doesn't quite overpower the rest.
- the Careless Whisper wasn't our favorite. We thought it was good, but tasted a little too much like cough syrup. We think the IPA syrup's hoppiness was a little too much for the grapefruit.

For small plates:
- the asparagus flatbread was perfect. Cheese melted into the bread, which was very flaky. A little more arugula than we needed, but we all enjoyed this one.
- the dumplings were very good, though for the price they could have brought a few more of their friends. Flavor was excellent, but we felt the wraps didn't bind quite right without the egg - slight downside to the vegan cooking.
- the butternut soup was disappointing, even for someone who loves butternut. Was a little thin, could have used some cream to thicken and improve the flavor. Flavor was also a little one-dimensional, which we feel could be helped by adding just a little bit of red pepper or some other herbs.

Finally, on the mains -
- Chicken pot pie was unreservedly great. Not crazy special ingredients, just really well executed. Bigger portion than most of the things here, too, if that's of interest.
- Salmon Wellington was very good, well seasoned and delicious. Unique dish, worth a try for sure. Maybe could use a dab more sauce? Happy with this one, too.

Desserts we had were all worth it.

I'm pretty adamant this has been the best restaurant I've been to in Martha's Vineyard. Looking forward to see how they evolve over time!

Creative cocktails and food, friendly and entertaining staff, and a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Between Block Island and Martha’s Vineyard, it’s been the best food and drinks during the entire trip! 11/10 definitely go here if you can only visit one spot

I absolutely adore the Pawnee House. Make reservations! It’s a small place and it’s better to have them. The owners and servers are absolutely wonderful people, so kind and knowledgeable about gluten. Drinks were delicious, food was delicious and enjoyed the time spent there. I 100% recommend coming here as a nice dinner with loved ones.

Wowowowo! Such a good meal and worth the wait.

To say this restauraunt wasn’t having their little personal issues I would be lying.

But we enjoyed celebrating a birthday. We had laughs, lots of drinks and a great bday.

We ordered many things. The men all got the chicken pot pie. The ladies all got the vegetarian flat bread.

We got meatball trio, goat cheese beet platter, and the Gruyere tart for apps.

Will come back again, will reccomend to a friend. Our host and waiter were amazing.

Thanks!

Go! Now! The food is spectacular. The cocktails are vibrant and delicious! We go every time we are on the island, sometimes twice, if we are lucky enough. My hubby is obsessed with the “It Isn’t Easy Being Green” cocktail. The mocktails are even magical. Try the tacos! Good tip, if you can’t get a reservation, go when they open and sit at the bar! Food, service and ambiance are wonderful!

DELICIOUS! We ate dinner here on 9/7/23, 2 days before leaving the Vineyard, and I definitely wish we had done so sooner because the food was delicious and I wanted a chance to explore their menu further. With limited seating, and offering dinner service only (brunch Sundays), it's hard to get a reservation. Plan ahead. Even though the interior seems ordinary when peeking through the windows during the day, it becomes magical after dark. We shared the Red Beans & Rice Bowl w/ Cajun Andouille Sausage, Toasted Sesame Asparagus, and Spicy Collard Greens. Excellent, all! We did not order anything (this time) from the cocktail menu, but it was extensive and inventive. With any luck, the wife/husband team behind this gem will be able to expand into a larger space. See you next summer for sure!

Just WOW. This place completely blew us away. The cute romantic ambiance is great for an evening dinner for a couple, or friends. The service is exceptional. The drinks were perfect. And the food absolutely delicious. The edamame dumplings, the whipped feta, the salmon wellington, and gruyere cheese/ asparagus are to die for. Alex was an awesome host. Truly recommend.

My new favorite restaurant in OB! Great food, drinks, and service! We had a wonderful meal, loved the whipped feta and I got the farmhouse salad with fish, it was absolutely delicious!! The espresso martini was amazing! A must go when you are on the island. Can’t wait to go here again soon ❤

I’m so glad I did my research and made a reservation to brunch at this quaint eatery in Oaks Bluff, MV. The atmosphere, wait staff and food were stellar! Make sure you make a reservation, as many people had to be turned away, when they came to the door and asked about space!

Excellent options for vegetarian / gluten-free / dairy free. Menu is mixed, but we got southern / comfort food: red beans, and rice with collard greens, polenta with spinach and mushrooms. All very good.

What a funky restaurant! The folks that run it are so friendly. And they always have a vegan option. We really enjoyed ourselves, and look forward to eating there again.

This is an elevated dining experience. Every dish is executed to a higher standard with great depth of flavor. The same can be said for the drinks. Don’t skip dessert either! Service and atmosphere were great, and the prices are reasonable considering the overall experience and quality of food you are getting.

Super kind and helpful staff! Went with my parents, one of whom has a lot of dietary restrictions, and there was something for everyone. Very generous portion sizes and fun cocktail list!

Innovative menu with tasty choices for all. We were here for brunch and loved the vegan pulled pork and stuffed French toast. The warm gruyere and asparagus tort flavors were outstanding and the puff pastry was flaky. Service was attentive without being overbearing.

I have eaten here maybe 10 times, it's always really good, everything is thoughtfully prepared, the food is consistently delicious, all the drinks are really tasty and are worth a try, the place is small but the seating is planned well, the space feels bright and open, and on days when the windows are opened it is really nice. The view is of pedestrians and and another restaurant but that's ok because the food is slamming. Oh yeah, it's vegan, but it's the type of place where that doesn't even matter. If you like delicious classy food, in a pretty relaxed environment with good service, you will love this place.
