EPICUREO Pizza

I had the pleasure of trying Epicureo pizza (many many times) and I must say, it truly lives up to its reputation as the best new pizza in town. The moment I took a bite of the pizza, I knew I was in for an incredible eating experience. The dough was simply incredible - perfectly crispy on the outside, while remaining soft and chewy on the inside.

The balance of flavors was amazing, with each ingredient complementing the other perfectly. Every bite was so fresh and delicious, it was clear that only the finest and freshest ingredients were used in the making of this pizza.

Tony, the owner of Epicureo pizza, is truly world-class in his craft. It is clear that he is meticulous in his preparation and takes great pride in every pizza he makes.

I highly recommend getting to Epicureo pizza early and often, as it's no surprise that he sells out daily. If you're in the Newburyport area and looking for a world-class pizza, look no further than Epicureo pizza. It truly is an incredible pizza-eating experience that you won't want to miss.

Easily the best pizza around and not particularly close! Every pie I've enjoyed from Epicureo is fresh and delicious – you can tell Tony takes a ton of pride in his work. It's so worth the visit and working around the minor inconveniences (cash/in-person only, limited hours) of a small, family-run shop.

This tiny pizza takeaway in the old tannery turns out some of the best pies I’ve ever had the opportunity to eat. The thin, hand stretched dough was light as a feather, stiff as a board. The exterior had just enough delicious char from the high temp, the toppings were generous, but restrained enough to not weigh down the dough. Masterful.

My family and I just tried Epicureo for our first time and it’s already our new favorite spot! The four cheese pizza was amazing; a crispy bottom with the perfect char and a nice balance of delicious sauce and cheese on top.

This is definitely going to be our new go-to pizza, just have hope they don’t sell out too fast!

Tony's pizza was delicious! All of our guests loved it - all the ingredients were fresh and wonderful flavors. Tony is also very engaging and aims to please. Would highly recommend him for any catering needs and events.

Tony's pizza is SO GOOD, and it was really fun and interesting to talk to him about how long it's taken him to perfect his recipes. His pizza is fresh, light and delicious. I can't wait to have him over for an in-home pizza party with my friends!

Tony came to our fundraiser loaded with enthusiasm and good cheer! Along with his upbeat and pleasant personality, he works clean , organized and the pizza is delicious. He brings his homemade dough and special combo of toppings and cooks until everyone is full! Since our guests had just completed a 64 mile bike ride, they were ready to eat and drink and he did not disappoint! I’ll definitely hire him for our event next year but, in the mean time, am looking for another reason to have him at another party!

We recently had a pizza party with Tony Carbone--Urban Epicurean--and it was amazing! Tony is a pleasure to work with, and our guests loved watching him work and being a part of the process. The pizza is simply scrumptious! So fresh and delicious, with a light crust that manages to be crispy and just the right amount of chewy. Truly the best pizza I've ever eaten! One of the best parts about the experience, is that fresh pizzas arrive every few minutes--always hot and delicious. This is a real bonus at a long cocktail party! Truly a great service--perfect for backyard parties, family reunions, graduation parties, rehearsal dinners, weddings...you name it!

Without question some of the best pizza in Massachusetts. Reminds my of the best I’ve ever had in New York City- and that says alot! Tony is a great guy and I look forward to visiting again. Thanks again.

I don't think I can ever cook/serve at my parties again!! Tony made this way too delicious and easy to even try! Our guests were gushing about "what a great idea this was", "how amazing every bite was", "how nice Tony was"! On and on. Hiring Tony for my son's grad party was the best move!! Thank you, Tony!!

We just had our first EPICUREO pizza at their new location in the Tannery complex, and it will not be our last! We got the garlic and herb pizza, which is their take on a white pizza, a variety of cheeses, garlic, lemon, and herbs. The addition of lemon was unique and pure magic.

The menu is pretty limited right now, but it’s a solid menu: four cheese, pepperoni, garlic & herb. Crispy onions are an additional topping you can add, and we are sad we didn’t. Next time! We can’t wait to see how this business grows! FYI, it’s cash only and $20–22 for a 16” pizza.

I wish we had taken a photo to share, but it disappeared too fast! We’ll be back for more!

Had my first pizza here and I will be back! I’m used to Boston’s best pizza shops and I can honestly say that this pizza is right up there with all of them. The dough was light and airy with a good char and the rest of the ingredients were fresh! Definitely recommend!

Wow! Tony joined our family and friends for a housewarming/birthday celebration and his pizza was an absolute highlight! Tony’s set up was incredibly thoughtful and professional. In addition to the phenomenal pizza Tony also brought two amazing salads which were equally as good! Tony fired up pizzas for 12 adults and 10 kids effortlessly. He entertained the adults and children alike by showing us how to make the pizzas and sharing stories of how he’s perfected his recipe over the last two years. Tony does it all and it made hosting a party at our home a dream! I would highly recommend inviting Tony to join your next celebration!

I can’t recommend Tony enough. He came out to our family vacation and made us pizzas for a few hours. Each one was delicious, especially the crispy shallot. Tony was gregarious and very welcoming of our group to his process, and was able to accommodate a food allergy with no issues. Book him and enjoy the best pizza party on the east coast.

We had Tony in our home for a 'pizza class' for six adults. Tony was so accommodating to our group, going above and beyond to prepare some delicious appetizers to enjoy before the main event! The tuna ceviche was one of the most incredible tuna dishes I have had- clean and complex with a kick! The macaroni and cheese bites with crisped prosciutto were very yummy and will be a go-to appetizer in the future. From talking us through the techniques and varying ingredients he uses for his pizza dough and sauces, to explaining his background, Tony was very informative. The pizzas were out of this world, his set up was wonderful and he left the kitchen impeccably clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and can't wait to use Tony again in the future!

We held a small baptism for our son and having Tony come and prepare his delicious pizzas was exactly what we needed to complete a perfect day. Not only was Tony incredibly personable, but he had my family fed within the first 10 minutes of us arriving home and it was absolutely delicious! The dough is so light that you (me) could try every pizza and still go back for seconds- which everyone did. It was such a fun twist on the day and truly what I was most looking forward to. We cannot wait to have Tony back for another event! He was so easy to work with and just a pleasure to have with us that day. Thank you again!

Tony is amazing! We had Tony join us for a holiday party for our small company and it was truly the best holiday party we've ever had! He was personable, prompt, funny and of course, the pizza was excellent. There was so much pizza as well, we were all stuffed by the end! We had so much fun and I hope we get to have Tony join us again next year. Thanks for the best evening!!

Tony joined us for a recent college reunion, and made delicious pizza for about 17 of us. We were absolutely thrilled with how it went! The pizza was incredibly fresh, flavorful, plentiful, and delicious (did I mention delicious?), and Tony was so friendly, organized, and informative. He made the night a big success, and as I've recapped the weekend with friends, a common refrain is something like "having a pizza party was the best idea!". HIghly recommend!

Tony is professional, very personable and goes out of his way to be accommodating to make sure your experience is the best it can be within your venue. We had to move our location at the last minute because of Hurricane Elsa. With everything else we had to do to regroup, I was beyond grateful that the one thing we did not have to worry about was the food! Tony reassured us he would be there and would make it work. In the end the sun came out, the pizza’s were delicious and plentiful and Tony was awesome. Every single person at our event raved about the pizza and wanted to know where we found him! Obviously I’m am a very happy customer and would recommend the Urban Epicurean again and again.

Tony is the best. His pizza is phenomenal! I’m from New York and I am very picky about pizza. He showed up at my house when he said he would, he’s extremely organized and made the most delicious pizza! We hosted a family reunion and he was a big hit! I can’t say enough about him and will definitely have him back again. Not to mention he’s super personable, we truly enjoyed having him at our party! 5 stars?? He deserves 50stars!!!
