Newburyport Dental Associates

Dr. Clancy and Newburyport Dental Associates have been our family dentist for over 10 years and I would never go anywhere else. The entire practice from reception to dental hygienists to doctors are incredibly professional and caring. My oldest daughter has struggled with sensory issues over the years so doctor and dentist visits can cause her a good deal of anxiety. Dr. Clancy and dental hygienist Breanna have been so patient, gentle and caring over the years that she no longer gets anxious about an upcoming visit and now loves to go to the dentist. As a mom I appreciate that they have taken such good care of us year after year. Thank you Newburyport Dental.

Dr Ann Marie Clancy and the other dentists are Wonderful. The whole team is professional and positive. Francesca was my hygienist this week and was ultra professional. So smart, so intentional, and well rounded! I really appreciated how she explained things to the next level. ( #ilovedata ) For example, I asked a question about plaque and in her response she went the extra mile by explaining that salivary glands are under our tongue and inside our cheeks - so the teeth near those areas tend to attract more plaque because ..... (Another cool fact she shared about the role of salivary glands and plaque buildup that I now can't remember. 🤦‍♀)
And their remodeled office is great too.

This is an extremely well-run operation. The entire staff is friendly, efficient, and smart. I don’t know how they do it, but when I leave there, I feel well-cared for and happy. Dr. Hertz is my dentist, and she’s a superstar, but I know there are other great doctors there as well. Highly recommend!

I had the worst dental anxiety anyone could ever have. Dr Clancy and her staff actually were able to take that away! They are absolutely amazing and do awesome work. The office staff is wonderful and there is a platform where the office can text you. I think my family hit the jackpot with this practice!

Dr. Clancy and her team are the best. My family and I had been patients at another local dentist for years, and recently switched. I've known Dr. Clancy but was always just too lazy to change, but it was the right decision. She and her team are professional, understanding, listen to you, and make a trip to the dentist a great experience. Their technology is state of the art. Plus, Dr. Clancy is incredibly funny and wears black scrubs. How can you beat that?

I need to tell you about my recent experience at NBPT Dental Assoc. In the past year I started to have hairline cracks in crowns I’ve had for my 4 front teeth for the past 25 years, and Dr Hoertz recommended that we replace them. She outlined the complete procedure and provided costs up front. We then took the multiple steps toward replacement. The final product is far superior to my previous crowns! They match my permanent teeth perfectly, and they are straighter and much more attractive.
Dr. Hoertz and her staff provided excellent service and ‘bedside manner’. She is extremely communicative and cares deeply about doing a good job. (She’s also a lot of fun!). I’ve been visiting Newburyport Dental Associates for the past 17 years, and even though I moved from Newburyport 6 years ago, I continue to make the drive there for the excellent service. If you care about professional service and doing things right, you owe it to yourself to use NDA as your dental providers.
