I got My wedding cake from them. The bakery department were extremely helpful and did a phenomenal job with our wedding cake . Not only was it beautiful, it was delicious!!! Would highly recommend them for all your special occasions.

I avoid grocery stores as the hustle and bustle gets to be too distracting and loud for me. But this experience, shopping at what I would consider an older Market Basket (I still call it Demoulas!) was fabulous!
I feel their selection of foods, especially as someone who loves to cook/eat Italian, is the best I've seen in any grocery in the area.
The folks were friendly and I even exchanged recipes standing in the produce section with fellow shoppers!
The scali bread is soft inside, crispy outside as it should be! No one makes scali like Market Basket!
Our cashier was hysterical and we giggled our way through the checkout line. A nice experience all-in-all and this is where we'll do the bulk of our grocery shopping from now on while staying in the area!

Market Basket is a big grocery store chain in New Hampshire. Every one of the stores I've been to is excellent.

They have the freshest local produce (whenever available) and great meats. They also have many other items and features that other large grocery stores just don't have.

They truly destroy the Super Walmart at Epping Crossing.

Grew up in Nbpt, almost 40 now, and honestly - it's pretty great that no matter how many yrs I'm away, or how much else changes, I've always been able to count on this old familiar to be just as I've always known it to be. I guess home is where you know where everything is 😄

Market Basket in newburyport Street seems like the prices are always lower than other competitors in town!

Always well stocked and well staffed. And if you don't see something on the shelf, the staff are always willing to see if they have it in the back. They'll even order it for you, if they can. Clean store and convenient location.

Sales and check out people were very helpful and speedy

Excellent prices every day and amazing prices on sale items and Manager's Specials. I was visiting the area, so do not shop this market routinely, but it would be my go-to if I lived here. I am not alone in feeling this way, as the store and parking lot were packed late on a Sunday afternoon. Bring your own reusable bags, or you will have to pay 10 cents per plastic bag or you can get free paper bags. I didn't know this was a Massachusetts law, but I am actually glad it is.

Excellent service; good selection; well stocked shelves; friendly and helpful staff. Most store brand products are as good - or. better - than name brands. Prices are consistently the lowest in the area.

Absolutely the best, clean, well stocked, quality products, good organic non GMO selection, best prices and quick friendly checkout... So much better than any neighboring supermarkets, thank you market basket for keeping it real, We will be back with our business !
( The only thing is could you please build some decent bathrooms for your customers like the Seabrook location ? )

I love Market Basket and the Newburyport location provides what I depend upon when shopping for groceries with Market Basket. Every staff member I spoke with was helpful and courteous. The store was easy to navigate and had all of the Market Basket products that my family enjoys. The produce is fresh and the bakery has had lots of familiar items. I filled my cart with enough to feed my small family for a week for just over $100. You really do get More For Your Dollar at Market Basket.

The Market Kitchen has great food at amazing prices. Sushi is made fresh every day. Run in for a quick lunch it for your weekly groceries.

Great prices (best in our area) great service... can be crowded - everybody goes there! They also have a good selection of even odd stuff - lemongrass paste! Not even our Whole Foods has it.

What can you say about Market Basket that everyone does not already know? It has pretty good selection, good prices, friendly workers. No complaints and I don't even mind the usually crowded parking lot because I can get what I need.

Always excellent customer service. The prices are very reasonable and produce is fresh.
