Bailey Design and Build has been great to work with from the beginning to the end of our project. We wanted to open up our living space and they really listened to our ideas and wants for the space and brought them to life in their design.

Our project was scheduled to take 12 weeks and finished right on time which was very important to us.

Erik our project manager was amazing! He kept us updated daily with the progress being made. As with any house projects there were a few hiccups along the way, but they were easily resolved together.

I am thrilled with the new design of our home and opening up our space. I would highly recommend Bailey Design and Build both for the ease of working together and their ability to finish on time.

Working with Bailey Design + Build for our bathroom renovation was such a great experience. They exceeded our expectations in every way possible. The team at Bailey redesigned the kitchen and bathroom of my mother-in-law’s home. They turned her home into a brighter, modern, and accessible space where she can enjoy living for many years to come. Our experience with Bailey Remodeling was far superior to what we had expected, from the very first day to the very last day. The professionals at Bailey knocked it out of the park from the concept and design to the execution and completion of our two large projects - a total bathroom renovation to meet the growing needs of our special needs adult son, and an addition on the back of our home for an outdoor living space we had envisioned for 25 years. Bailey was incredibly accommodating about the importance of the comfort and safety of our son and his fragile medical condition throughout the construction process. Every worker, contractor, vendor, and our project manager wore masks daily while inside our home to protect our family. This meant the world to us. Everyone was so polite and considerate. Our awesome project manager was on site every day, and an owner was here at least once a week and always kept communication open with us. We had use of an online portal that contained all the information about our project including financials, schedules, and photos. The project remained on schedule throughout the entire process despite some bitter cold and inclement weather. Every day after work was completed, our home was left neat and cleaned up. Our beautiful new bathroom is top notch, meets ADA standards, and we are thrilled with it. Now it is extremely safe for our son and our aging parents, and also for us as we 'age in place'. The new outdoor living space is the envy of all our friends and neighbors, and is just stunning. We are thrilled to have such a lovely retreat in which to relax and entertain our family and friends. Every vendor's workmanship and attention to detail was outstanding. We had such a positive experience with Bailey Remodeling, we would never consider anyone else should we need more renovations in the future. Working with Bailey Remodeling on a first floor remodel was a wonderful experience. Our project included wall tear-downs, back staircase removal, kitchen remodel, hardwood flooring, and some additional work on the basement and the second floor - a large and complex project.

What was most apparent was the level of organization.

An introductory phase included discussion of our needs (some of which we didn't know ourselves!) and vision, detailed 3D analysis, and the presentation of multiple possible layouts. After choosing the one we liked best, there was an interior design person (Amy) dedicated to our project, with whom we picked out all of the design choices. She was extremely helpful and easy to work with - and was completely open to our eclectic artistic tastes. Once all of that detail was chosen, we were presented with a virtual walk through with many images from different perspectives and a projected price. At that point, we could walk away with the minor introductory expense or move forward with the project. There was no obligation.

Bailey is not the lease expensive remodeling company, but what you get for the extra money is the organized approach to the construction (a complete week by week calendar of the project in advance); subcontractors who are on time, professional, and high quality; a fantastic dedicated on-site project manager (David) who was there all day, every day making sure everything was done correctly and responding to all our questions and modifications; and an app through which we received daily logs of work done with daily photos, had access to all signed documents and approved plans, approved/declined all modifications, and paid invoices. Things moved like clockwork with the 11 week project finishing within a week of its planned end date. Bailey charges more but must pay its subs more, because they were always on time and gave Bailey priority over other things they were doing. Bailey was in constant contact with us at multiple levels, making sure we were always satisfied.

The final product was fantastic. We are thrilled with how every element looks and its professional finish. They welcomed our unique choices into the construction - pendant lighting from an artist, a unique cooktop hood, unusual bar countertop with full height backsplash - as if they were everyday elements, with perfect installation.

In the end, you get what you pay for. In this day and age, everyone expects delays and cost overruns, but with Bailey you get on time construction, professional quality, and complete transparency throughout the process. I cannot speak highly enough of Bailey Remodeling and give them my highest recommendation.

Bailey Build and Design did a great job on our recent home project. Some of the finer points to note are as follows: detail oriented, efficient, professional, scheduled, proactive just to list a few. Erik was our project manager and he exceed our expectations and more. He was very communicative throughout our 6 week project and made sure that everything was happening according to plan. Any big project will encounter unexpected issues, but he was quick to find solutions and move the project along. We highly recommend Bailey Build and Design for your home projects. By Bailey Design and Build scale, I believe we had a smaller renovation. Kathryn was our first contact and guided us through the design process and options while staying within our budget. Wilson, our Project Manager was easily available and overcommunicated so we knew what was happening daily and what was to come the following day. We are beyond thrilled with the results of the remodel of our primary bath, closet, laundry and office nook and would definitely recommend Bailey for any design and build project.

We recently had a room addition completed by Bailey Design + Build. It was a sterling performance by a construction company.
Brandon Bailey outlined the project details at the beginning noting what was to be done and when and a completion date listed. The project was completed several days ahead of schedule, a miracle considering the work began on January 2,2024, and ran through February. We had some really bad weather in that time period.
Project Manager Tom McClanahan was the miracle worker. He kept everything and everyone moving along, saw to all of the little details, and made sure everything was done as it should have been. He was a delight to work with and he became a part of our family in the process.
All of the subs worked diligently, knew what they were doing and did it well.

We had a fantastic experience from planning and design to the final walk through. The whole team is very thorough and lots of planning on the front end ensured that the project stayed right on schedule and within budget through the whole process. The team at Bailey were terrific to work with. I was finishing my basement and received quotes from multiple builders in Louisville, but no one was as impressive in their presentation and thoroughness as Bailey. They take the time to walk through the process, give a clear timeline, and set reasonable expectations.

The construction process was non-intrusive and well handled. I was assigned a project manager who stayed on top of the day to day work and followed up on any concerns or questions that I have. Once a week I received a call from one of their co-owners to insure everything was going as planned and make sure nothing new had popped up.

The final product was exactly as it was shown in the original plans and was consistent with the 3D room spaces they provided. Can't complain at all. They won't be the cheapest quote you get by any means, but they do build a quality product that should withstand the test of time.

Loving our location but outgrowing our house had us searching for a way to remodel our home to fit our lives. We had met with an architect and a few contractors but kept ending up at a dead end. Fortunately for us, we turned to Bailey Design + Build for help. They listened to every concern we had no matter how small it may have been. They took our initial ideas and presented us with a plan to completely transform our house to provide us with the space and functionality we desperately needed. Their timing was impeccable and their communication was seamless. Their work is high quality and they treated our home as if it was their own. Our project manager, David, was outstanding and kept the job moving along with absolute precision. We will definitely use Bailey Design + Build again if we ever have future construction needs.

I have worked with Bailey Design + Build for a number of years. They are always very professional . I can't mention the entire team but Brandon, Katharine, Amy, Jesse are all fantastic. All their project managers are top shelf as well. You can't go wrong working with them for an elevated experience in my opinion.

We stumbled onto Bailey's Design and Build kind of last minute for a full deck and back porch replacement project. Brandon and his team spent several hours with us at their office leveraging their technology platforms designing and displaying our desired end state remodel. This included presentation of the latest building materials and techniques. From there, Bailey presented a fully loaded GANTT project plan that clearly set expectations for the project. Every day there was notable progress, supported by frequent communication from the onsite project manager. Every day before leaving the site, the full site was cleaned up and cleared of any debris on or around the site. As issues with procurement and sus arose, they were swiftly mitigated and did not affect the timeline or progress. The end product is amazingly beautiful; exactly what we wanted; completed on time and when the final landscaping is complete; I will provide the visuals. This is the most professional organization I have ever dealt with in my many years or new home construction, remodeling and building services of any kind. I highly recommend Brandon and his team.

We just completed our second experience using Bailey, and they did an excellent job again. This time, we had a full kitchen and first floor remodel completed. From the design and planning process through the execution of the project, Bailey’s support was top notch. Particular strengths include:
- Timeliness - The time of our initial outreach to Bailey about maybe doing a project like this to the completion of this project was a mere 7.5 months. Bailey showed a sense of urgency throughout all phases.
- Project management - Bailey’s dedicated project manager for our project (Erik) was great to work with. It was reassuring to know that he was spearheading our project every day, and he was committed to getting our project done the right way and addressing any issues.
- Experience in Louisville - Bailey had performed similar remodels for other homes in our neighborhood, so we were confident that Bailey would have good ideas about how to redesign our first floor based on their experience with similar homes. That said, they of course took into account our specific needs in the design planning.

The downside of Bailey - if you would call it that - is that you’re likely to be paying a premium for their services. But as with anything else, you get what you pay for. Bailey is a one stop shop for a remodel, so part of what you’re paying for is certainly the convenience and peace of mind that comes from that.

We contacted Bailey Remodeling last winter to turn our rotting deck and pergola into a covered deck, partially screened with a fireplace. It is now one of our favorite places in our home! The design process was well thought out and the architectural drawings were certainly enhanced by the 3D rendering they provided. Expectations were clearly set and every effort was made to get the project completed on time. Due to unforeseen COVID-19 supply chain issues the project finished 2 weeks after the scheduled date. The budget did not change for the project for which we were grateful. If you are on the fence about who to call give this group a shot, the end product will be fabulous.

We had a great experience working with the Bailey team on our home remodel. They had some great ideas and helped a ton with the design process. The work is beautiful, and the timeline was reasonable. Everyone was personable and easy to work with and communicated well throughout the process. We are pleased!

The Bailey team did a great job with our remodel. This is the second time we've used them and was happy with our results. One of the most impressive features is their ability to stay on schedule and deliver...with two small kids it was extremely important to have the job completed on time.
