Big Rock

Nice walk to Big Rock yesterday in Cherokee park ! Peaceful trail. Beargrass Creek is lovely. Nature and it’s beauty.

I absolutely love this park. My boys swim, hike, and explore here. Its a great place to bring them every day when the weather permits!!!!

Many small trails take you near the waters edge. Backs into Cherokee Park and Seneca Park. Great place to enjoy nature.

Gorgeous place to sit and rest, also found lots of authentic creek "river glass"!

Cool swimming creek with picnic tables. The swim was refreshing and clean babbling water with a larger swimming area collected into pool

The place is really cool the people that go down there are some awesome people there is a language barrier but we use the language app and everything works out great and it's wonderful

Beautiful and fun atmosphere. Friendly people. Clean wonderful water to swim in. The rope is sooo fun. Waterfalls are beautiful. Clean and lots of picnic tables. Love it here.

The tree swing working as it should. I took a nap on the hill as laughs and joy came from that creek. The 50 somethin ladies got up on that table and swung out into the creek right after a couple 12 year olds took a splash. God is so good bringing all colors all ages together today at my favorite Big Rick

I've been bringing my son and then grandson here for the last 40 years. Shame on you for taking the rope swing down.

I remember Big Rock from my under-appreciated youth 55 years ago. My friends and I spent many summer days catching crayfish or roping together wood debris to build rafts. I especially remember once finding a picnic table upside down in the water and riding it downstream. Seeing the recent photos looking just as it did in the early 60s gives me hope for the world.

I visited it when i was young, and what can i say... It's still there, it's still big, it's still a rock. A good time in the heat of summer. Looks like someone added a new rope to a tree, older kids are having a blast, (for free)

Just moved here from New Orleans a few months back an the Kats I work with mentioned I should go check it out.... Cool spot for sure also super close to my house.... People were all friendly an the rope swing was the perk for me.... Beautiful city if you know where to look....

Had a awesome time with my family. We celebrated my son's 30th BDay. Everyone respected the 6 feet apart rule. Some wore masks. Will go again

Lots of great and fun things to do at Big Rock. Looking for a place to take photos? They will turn out great here. Lots of places to get some great shots and at the right time of the year, the colors are wonderful.

Haven't been there for 25 years .. I took my 9 year old daughter and she loved it. It was her first time she loved it ..

Beautiful creek to walk in with young kids and dogs. Nice and clean. Great place for a picnic!!
