Street Grub and Hops

Now this place is really cool. Very relaxed atmosphere, and our server Victoria made you feel like you'd run into an old friend. Thur pretzel bites were warm and unbelievably delicious, the beer selection is epic, and the food overall was spectacular. Definitely give this place a go!

Very impressed. Food was amazing. Large portions. Great value. Ask about the slushies. We had candy apple and also a strawberry margarita one. So good.

Awesome location in the heart of St Matthews with plenty of space and great views from the open air windows. Love the game day menu featuring $5 pitchers of beer and $3 tacos.

Excellent first experience! The food was delicious and they have a massive selection for drinks/beer. We went on a Saturday and any game you would want was playing. Social distancing was respected if you’re concerned about that. The staff is what will bring us back though, the whole team was fun and interactive with guests, especially our server Joe, he was awesome!!

This place seems to be a great replacement for former Mellow Mushroom! My wife got the All-American burger and wanted it made thin (like a diner burger) and they were more than happy to accompany her request. It was one of the most flavorful and best burgers we have had! We also got the Street Corn and it was amazing. Beer selection is great as well. Definitely will be going back!

Lived in Louisville for 2 years now and we've ate just about everywhere. This eatery is insanely good. I had the Cuban and my wife had the Philly cheese steak and they were intense! Great flavor and huge! Get the mac-n-cheese side also. It's excellent! Fun atmosphere and excellent service. (Thanks Christine!) Going back tomorrow for some Sunday football. Highly recommend! 😀

Great place! Food choices amazing, friendly staff and great music. No loud soccer fans screaming in our ears which is what drove us away from our normal lunch spot. Will definitely return! It will take a long time to sample the eclectic menu.

We really enjoyed a great dinner. There were 3 of us and we all tried something different. We started with the chicken with jerk rub. My mom got the Gyro with “off” the corn on the cob (so delicious). My wife got the Reuben and I got the Hawaiian burger with ham and pineapple. The service was terrific and the pricing is definitely worth what you get. My wife had the Sweet Water IPA. Lots of drinks to choose from

We are definitely coming back to try the Korean BBQ dishes.

Atmosphere was great! Food was FANTASTIC and the owner waited on us with awesome service! Very friendly and answered all of our questions! We had the buffalo fries appetizer (daily special), the chicken sandwich, and a burger. The mac and cheese was the best!!! We will be back!

Went with a group of friends and had a great time. The food was pretty tasty, the wings were delicious and the churro dessert is killer! They also had a really good mimosa beer (tasted just like a mimosa, so cool). Would definately go again to try some more items from the menu! The owner is a really genuinely nice guy as well :)

Diamond Street Food is a gem on Shelbyville Rd. Atmosphere is very laid back with lots of booths a large bar plus a room with pinball machines. The food is tasty with a true food tuck menu. The portions are large and delicious. I had the Street burger a juicy brisket and ground beef mixture cooked to perfection. For a side the street corn is a great choice. The corn is off the cob and flavored with Mexican cheese and spices. You must visit Diamond Street Food for a experience and food you will truly enjoy. Tell all your friends it's a experience you won't forget.

This place is great! The burger was good. My companions loved their food. We had poutine as an appetizer and donuts for dessert and everything was 5 stars. Our server was the perfect amount of friendly and attentive!

Visiting from Wisconsin and google searched lunch places and stumbled upon this GEM OF A RESTAURANT. Awesome food selection! The bourbon bloody was rimmed with BACON SALT. Everyone enjoyed their meal (drunken noodles with chicken was great and enough for my next 3 meals!!). The honey sriracha was so good with the sweet potato fries and the gumbo was delicious! Would 100% recommend for any foodie! Anyone who leaves less than a 3 star review probably doesn’t like puppies, so I wouldn’t trust them.

It takes quite a bit for me to rate a place as 5-stars. Diamond Street Grub and Hops hits on all cylinders. The menu here is as diverse as you can get for the street food experience. Think World Fest under one roof. Remarkable beer selections, awesome dining experience, and the atmosphere were all on point and worthy of my 5-stars.

First of all... our server Joe was the BEST! He was very attentive and did a great job.

We all enjoyed our meals. The mac and cheese was a hit as well as the hamburgers. We had a great experience.

The food and atmosphere were fantastic. The poutine was big enough for a meal all by itself, and one of the friends we were with said her burger was the best she'd ever had.

Beer selection was great and everyone (4 of us) LOVED the food. We got the Gyoza, the Chuck Norris, Korean BBQ and the Birria Tacos. Get the Mac n cheese. It's out of this world delicious!

While planning a holiday party for the department I work in I cane across this place and thought I see what they could accommodate. From my very first call with Jarod to my last drink at the bar, it was a great experience. We have around 80 employees and it is hard to get everyone together, usually with our outings if 40 sign up only 20 show up so I couldn’t give them an exact number of people to plan for, they were still able to accommodate us when more showed up than we expected. Toya was one of the waitresses and she was absolutely amazing. She was always willing to do whatever was needed to make things run smoother and as hectic as it was she kept a smile on her face. I will definitely be back and will recommend others to try this place out. The food was amazing, prices great for the amount of food and the service from Toya, Jarod and (I believe the bartender was )Steven is what everyone should strive to be like.
