Just visiting the area, n was looking for a unique restaurant. This was a fantastic first time visit! The food and service was great. I had 2 cocktails, the Smith & Wesson and the Triumvirate. Both bartenders were attentive and knowledgeable. And for food the salmon crostinis and their amazing special; A play on chicken& waffles, breaded rabbit with homemade waffles and a bacon/blueberry compote. Would def come back again!

We made a last minute dinner reservation last night and had a great experience. Service was casual and kind. I love fine dining when it’s not too stuffy and the staff get to be themselves.
The cocktail list was difficult to read because everything looked either good or interesting. I went with the Smith & Wesson and it was definitely on the interesting side. I probably wouldn’t order it again but I’m glad I tried it and there are a handful of other cocktails I’m interested in trying another time.
We got escargot as an appetizer and it was decadent. The French onion soup is also hands down the best in town.
Anywhere I go I have to try their beet salad and this one had some wonderful earthy flavors.
The steak was cooked to perfection with an amazing sauce and it paired well with their Bordeaux pour by the glass.
With the two of us dining the bill came out to $205 which is pretty reasonable. I will be back to try the maple old fashioned and the PEI mussels.

The Scottish salmon with mushroom risotto was a culinary delight. The salmon melted in my mouth with a perfectly seared exterior that locked in its succulent tenderness with a gentle crunch.

We recently moved back to Louisville after 11 years away. One of the things I really missed was the vibrant local food scene. We have had the pleasure of dining at La Chasse twice in the last couple of months, and both times it was an excellent experience. The food is delicious, the service is great, and the atmosphere is cozy. We will definitely be returning soon.

Everything is great from the fork to the plate. The bartenders rule like the old school, well versed in conversation and looks that swoon. All the servers are fresh, smart and delightful. They move in patterns like birds dancing. Fancy flavors that topple the taste buds , flow from the kitchen One before the next, while the cocktails and wine list will have you perplexed as to wear and how you would go anywhere next

Catherine was wonderful and so was the food. This was such a comfortable yet elevated dining experience. We were visiting Louisville for the first time and this has definitely given us such a great impression of the food scene here. Amazing menu, wide selection of bourbon, great recommendations, thoroughly enjoyable.

Fantastic dinner with friends last night at LaChasse. Everything we had was so flavorful. Amazing wine list with prices to match every budget. The service was great too. Really talented team in the kitchen. They even make all of their bread in house. Shared plates of escargot, grilled Brie and the app special ribs. All delicious. And decadent. For dinner the chicken (so tender)with a sweet and savory sauce, NY strip cooked perfectly medium rare, and the crab encrusted cod. Honestly one of the best meals we’ve had in Louisville. Skipped dessert but had to get the espresso martini to end the night. Such a great local restaurant.

Special thanks to Catherine for her exceptional service and warm hospitality. Can't wait to savor this delicious burger again! 😮‍💨

Some of the best food in this city no doubt.

Chef Alexander Dulaney is a master of his art configuring some of the most delicate interesting food this city has to offer.

His technique, passion, training and love for food, unique, local ingredients places him at the top spot as the best in the city.

For a unique dining experience and overall setting I would suggest running to La Chasse for everything great

This man puts his heart and soul into every dish and it is felt and tasted with every bite.

Not to mention the award winning bartender/owner who has worked at some of the best restaurants in the city creating unique cocktails you won't find anywhere else.

This is truly a unique and superb dining experience from the chef, owner, servers.

The ambiance is amazing and intimate.

Great for a date night, party or just relaxing by yourself at the bar having a great time.

Do not sleep on this restaurant I promise you will not have a dull experience at all. Everything is amazing when it comes to la chasse.

You will have an amazing experience from top to bottom.

Specials are always on point. Service is always impeccable, and knowledgeable.

You will not leave hungry and always be wowd and amazed at the level of detail pit into every dish as like I said the chef has put his heart and soul into creating these very fine tasting dishes that literally speak to you from the plate. From presentation to delivery to taste this is one of the best restaurants in Louisville to dine at and it never disappoints.

Give it a try and you will be satisfied from start to finish and that is a guarantee.

We found La Chasse on the open table app. We decided to give them a chance after reading a few glowing reviews. The staff was great! We started with a French onion soup and Caesar Salad for our appetizers. We enjoyed the Bistro burger and a special pork schnitzel sandwich as our entrees. This restaurant is well staffed and the execution of the food was excellent. The menu, wine list, and cocktail menu were amazing. We will be back and can not recommend this establishment enough.

Had always driven by La Chasse on the heart of Bardstown Rd, but had never stepped foot in it. We wanted to try somewhere new for an anniversary dinner and it seemed like a perfect match. Although there was only a few other parties in the restaurant, it still carried an intimate aura with an open kitchen set up to see all aspects of the restaurant at work. The Baked Brie with baguettes was a great appetizer as we looked over the single paged menu. I ordered one of the specials that evening which was their in house burger topped with fresh crab and crispy shallots and it was phenomenal. I also ordered a few international beers (Saison Dupont, Kronenbourg 1664) which were great. Would highly recommend La Chasse for any occasion if you are a local and have not been in yet!

La Chasse lived up to all of the recognition it receives. They messed up our reservations but took complete responsibility and entirely made up for it. Their food is exceptional... Chef Alex is creative with his menu and flavors. Every single thing we got was made beautifully and tasted incredible. We liked everything, but our top highlights were the Creamy Gruyere gratin (literally one of the best things I’ve ever eaten), Trumpet Mushrooms (nightly special), Crab Ecrusted Cod, and the Chocolate Mousse. They also have a Maple Old fashioned that is to die for and has a unique way that it is made. Our server, Patrick, was informative, pleasant, and funny.. all around great experience. We were all impressed and will certainly be back.

Yesterday, I was absolutely fortunate to have the opportunity to taste the delicious dishes made by such a talented chef Alexander Dulaney.
Highly recommend trying Grilled Cauliflower and Crab Encrusted Cod with microgreens from Union Microgreens.

For those of you who live in the Highlands and miss the array of fine dining that we used to have here, fear no more. La Chasse checks off all the boxes for upscale dining and at a very affordable price point in the $80 to $90 price range for two people including a glass of wine each. The service is lickity-split fast, the presentation is as Top Chef as any can be, the fusion of the sauces is heavenly, and the food makes your palate soar.

Let's start with just... Wow... Amazing staff, cozy atmosphere and delish food. The pictures don't do this food justice and the portion sizes where massive! Everything was perfectly cooked, so tender and juice and the cook himself was amazingly friendly and wholesome. The server we had... So great, super funny, knowledgeable and made you feel like you've known him your whole life. The experience will run you about $75 a person but it is well worth it.

An absolutely fabulous dining experience. Delicious cocktail to start then a crispy skin salmon dish for me and the filet for my husband and son. We finished with French press coffee and a delightful Nutella cheesecake! Service and atmosphere were both fantastic!

Been twice now and it's always great. Chef delivers consistently, everyone crushed their plates, kudos to the back of the house. Quisine definitely has a southern accent to it but the soul is French.

Really reasonable wine prices for some great areas of France, I would love to see them expand the list out to more areas (jura, better bourgogne white selection, more Bordeaux and Rhone).

I’ve had so many lovely meals here and tonight was no different. I was celebrating an anniversary with my love and our server John made it to extra special.

He was a true pro; attentive but not intrusive. He timed everything appropriately, made us feel welcome and like he cared what kind of time we had.

As a former service industry person I certainly appreciate the attention to detail. The art of proper service has seemed a lost art as of late, but John gets it.

Also, the food-PHEMON!!
